Chef Mo’s Café proudly serves county employees and visitors to the county buildings and surrounding businesses.

We offer a different hot meat and vegetarian entrée each week day.

Our grill is open for breakfast and lunch. We prepare breakfast and lunch to order. Our burgers are fresh, thick, juicy and flavorful. We prepare them by hand.

Our sandwiches are prepared with freshly prepared meats. We do not use sliced deli meat. We grill and slice chicken for your sandwiches.

Our salads are prepared fresh. We make all our salad dressings.

Even our cookies and desserts are made in house.

History

Established in 2009.

Chef Monalisa was established in 2009.

We began as chef owner and operator of a personal chef/​catering business.

The business grew quickly with every bite!

We opened first a catering and event hall in Downtown San Jose, on Second Street in 2011.

In May of 2013, we opened the location as a café.

In June of 2014 we moved and opened the café in the Lower Level of the County Building at 70 West Hedding st., San Jose. We proudly serve County Employees and guests to the building.

Chef Monalisa and staff are dedicated to providing the freshest and highest quality seasonal ingredients. We are committed to exemplary service. We offer prepared to order breakfast and lunch and many healthy Grab N Go options. We serve a hot soup, and hot entrees daily and prepare sandwiches to order.

We have many gluten-​free, vegetarian and healthy options.
