I recently lost the closest person in my life as the result of a car accident. Needless to say, I have been going through an unbelievable range of emotions…
I have only attended one group session so far, but it was really good. The facilitator of the group, Irene, is outstanding. She has a lot of empathy, and her presence is calming.
It is comforting to be in a room full of people who genuinely understand each other (at least on some level).
I don’t know if/​how I will make it through this, but I do know that The Centre For Living With Dying has been one of the only comforting things in this process so far.
I highly recommend visiting them if you are grieving.
