At Brain-​O-​Magic, our mission is to provide children the right tools to «Boost their Brainpower.» The fun-​filled and motivational environment at Brain-​O-​Magic, coupled with a scientifically developed curriculum will not only assist children with mathematics, but will also improve their performance in other academic and non-​academic areas.

Using the Abacus:

The program starts with teaching the child how to use the abacus to solve basic arithmetic operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Working with abacus demands concentration and coordinated interaction of eyes, both hands and both sides of the brain. This coordination of both sides is the key to superior intellectual abilities.

Mental Calculations:

As the child becomes comfortable using the Abacus, they are taught to perform calculations mentally, using an imaginary Abacus. This trains the brain to work with pictures and enhances visualization which leads to better coordination between both sides of the brain…

History

Established in 2014.

Brainomagic Cupertino started in the year 2014. Reema and Aparna — Directors of the Brainomagic Cupertino group started with a dream to change the complete idea of learning with this unique fun learning program which not only enable kids to be able to do math but also helps with overcoming fear of numbers. Having confidence to take up challenges by incorporating Baxi’s (our mascot) spirit of «No one knows what they can do unless they try it», «Practice Practice Practice» and «If you believe you can do it then you’re halfway there». An year ago, we started off with a handful number of students and within an year we are a big happy family…

Reema has a bachelors of Science in Mathematics and has been teaching in the San Francisco bay area for past 7 years and Aparna has bachelors in Engineering. Both of them united with the common dream to change the complete idea of learning with this unique fun learning abacus program which not only enables a child to be able to do calculations at an unparalleled pace but also being able to overcome the fear of math. They are one of the few lucky people who have been able to bring positive change in several lives with this unique program and are really excited to see the happy and excited faces around them…
