My Samsung printer stopped working and I called Harris and although he doesn’t work on Samsung he was extremely accommodating in helping me troubleshoot the problem. He is an honest businessman and very customer focused. I would highly recommend him.

My printer died at the very end of the day. I did not expect it but the owner Harris, himself drove out a loner to use while they repaired mine.

Did not buy a service; just called about my HP 8500 910A which was giving a phantom paper jam message. Going to have to trash the printer and get a new one but he gave some recommendations on an HP officejet pro x series — said that most printers are only meant to last a couple years and HP does not provide replacement parts. Also suggested that next time I make sure there are parts or call them before messing with the printer (which I did). Great service.

Just had a wow experience on the phone with Scott, he walked me through what I need to buy to have less printing headaches. I am surprised at his availability to assist me when I may not do business with him as he does not sell the printer HE recommended. It is wonderful to meet someone over the phone who was so helpful and professional!

Wow, Scott was amazing. I have an old HP 3200 LaserJet that’s last me over 10 years. I initially wanted to know if it was worth it to replace it. Scott had exceptional carnal knowledge of thing. He explained that it uses the gravity fed system that is notorious for causing double feeds — so any repairs he does wouldn’t be able to fix that (at least in the price range we were discussing.) He then proceeded to give me some recommended products to look for that have a historically good reliability rate; and suggested I look for them on the open market!

This was the only printer service in the Bay Area that would even agree to look at my very old Canon inkjet printer… most places just told me to buy a new one. I brought it in, and the technician very quickly and efficiently pulled a stone out of my printer (where I had obviously inadvertently dropped it several weeks before) and didn’t even charge me! I was out in ten minutes and am very grateful and impressed with Bay Area Printer. Thank you!!!

We have an old HP 4550 color printer that was acting up. I called on a Friday afternoon, and got Scott on the phone. He asked me a couple of troubleshooting questions, then asked me to email the company, as he was driving. He also offered to stop by office Monday to look at it. He showed up as advertised, and spent over an hour working on the printer. He gave me some good advice and didn’t try to sell me anything. I am amazed!.Thank you!

I was having trouble with my HP CM1312 multi-​function printer. It stopped working after there was a paper jam and even after clearing the paper jam, checking and re-​checking to see if there was anything else stuck in there, restoring to factory settings and turning on and off several times the paper jam message was still there preventing me from printing and accepting incoming faxes. Such a frustrating thing to deal with on a Friday afternoon as we’re wrapping up the week. I called place after place and 3 different places located in Sunnyvale and San Jose quoted me over $ 120 just to look at the machine. I figured I might as well find a place with good reviews if I was to spend that amount and I came across this place. I called in and I explained what was wrong with it and he walked me through the steps to fix it with no charge! It turns out that the little thing that pulls the paper up might have had a piece of dust on it causing the sensor to be blocked and all I had to do was jiggle it around a couple times! To think I almost spend over $ 100 plus paying for parts I really didn’t need over a small dust particle.
He didn’t try to sales pitch me into taking it in or having him send someone out. In fact he told me he would be mad too if he had to spend that amount on such a small printer. Amazing. Really, really lucky I found this place. Now I can enjoy my weekend and one less thing to deal with on Monday. THANK YOU!

When planning on using the service industry, I always refer to Unilocal first to make sure I don’t go to the wrong place. After seeing the good reviews for Bay Area PDS, I decided to give them a call to see if they could help with my printer, which has been pretting less than excellently as of late. The gentleman I spoke to on the phone gave me some practical tips to improve print quality and troubleshoot the printer on my own, and actually encouraged me not to bring it in because I could fix it myself!
Excellent service, I will definitely keep Bay Area PDS in mind next time myself or a friend has a printer problem.
