Horrible massage and they demanded for a tip. I’ve had some bad massages but on top of a horrible attitude, I don’t recommend this spot at all. Personally if you torture me and are not giving a relaxed massage you don’t deserve a tip they should pay customers because it’s pure torture. Didn’t relax me at all !

My family has been coming here for years. It is a bit of a drive from Willow Glen but it is worth it! I have tried a number reflex places in SJ, Campbell, and Cupertino but none can compare.

This is one if THE best foot massage parlor around. I love the fact that they start you off sitting and hit all your tight spots around the neck and shoulder area from the get go. Sold! And coming back for more…

This is my go-​to spot! I’ve been to multiple foot reflexology massage places, and this one is on the top of my list! For $ 20 an hour, don’t expect the quality of a fancy spa, but do expect a great massage. Also, for the foot massage, not only do they massage your feet, but they also do your full back/​body. Don’t wear pants, or wear pants that you can roll up because you do have to soak your feet in a bucket of water. The massage happens in a communal room, but your eyes are closed for most of the time so I don’t mind. Again, because it is in a communal room, it can get a bit noisy. Also, for the men, you can choose to have the massage with or without your shirt. So the process goes as following: first, they have you sit and massage your neck and upper back as you’re seated. This part is my least favorite because I just want to lie down. Next, they have you lay on your back and massage your face and shoulders. Next is your feet, legs and arms. When your front body is finished, your masseuse will asked you to turn over so they can massage your back. They do roll up your shirt and bottoms with a towel so your back is exposed. What I appreciate is, for the ladies, the masseuse will ask you if you would like to remove your bra strap instead of just doing it themselves because some women may not prefer or be comfortable with this. After your back, the massage is over and your masseuse will offer you some tea or water. I always leave feeling stretched out, relaxed and happy. I do think that the massage experience will be different depending on which masseuse you have. Some apply more pressure than others, but your masseuse will always check in with you to see if the pressure is to your liking. If you like a certain masseuse, do get their name! Also, I highly recommend calling for an appointment because it does get VERY busy on Friday and Saturday nights. I’ve only had great experiences here and love the affordable price for a great massage! Also, remember to tip!

I’d rate this place 4 stars if every masseuse there was like COCO & Helen! These two are amazing. They know what they’re doing and use different techniques. I fall asleep whenever they massage me.
But… Not everyone is good as these two.
I don’t remember this one guys name but he was working late night and he SUCKED. Not only was his breath stankin in my face and breathing hard, I felt like I was getting poked at. And to make it even worse he was going so fast massaging me that I couldn’t even be relaxed! I even told him to «go slower» but obviously he didn’t know what that meant. He kept digging his finger everywhere and didn’t seem like he knew what he was doing

I used to love coming to this place for their one hour full body massage but their masseuses has been off their game. Came here last time with my boyfriend, we both got new female masseuses who did a horrible half ass job and whispered to each other non stop throughout the entire time that’s a whole fucking hour

Paying for $ 20 full body massage is worthied. The service is better, comparing from other places I went. I will say 4 stars, I will recommend this place to my relatives and friends. Tip $ 10, they deserve it!

I came here and yes. you get what you pay for. but I do love how they massage your back not only once but twice. You should also let them know how hard you want your massage. some of the masseuse don’t understand english. and honestly if you don’t say anything you might not even get what you want. But 20 dollars for a foot massage plus body is cheap! definitely wouldn’t mind coming here it just gets too loud and crowded.

…These foot spas are all over this strip. I’ve had this done a couple of times at several different places. I’ve been very skeptic about doing it again because it is literally a hit or miss with these masseuse. I’ve had great ones to horrendous ones. And I never ask their names so I always just take the chance with a new one. After my last bad experience I wasn’t planning to return. But today I decided to take my chances again. I decided to come to this one. I walked in without an appt. and waited 15 minutes. I was just crossing my fingers hoping for a good masseuse. And It was a lucky gamble for me. Jerry did a great job. I’m a happy camper and happy I asked his name so I don’t have to worry next time. I’ll be back and booking an appointment with him. Thanks Jerry.

WHY 5 STARS: They deliver exactly what is expected.
RIGHT OFF THE BAT: Understand, don’t expect the exclusivity service you’d expect at an expensive Day Spa in, say, Palo Alto. If you plan on getting services performed on you, remember they only provide the service of massage; not ambiance, no private room, no massage table, no special oils, etc. With that…
MY EXPERIENCE: On a regular basis, I do go to a Day Spa for the full experience and treatment of a massage session. I also expect to pay 3 digits for the experience. And of course you can spend 3 hours at these other types of establishments. Well, not here.
EXPECTATION: If you want a quick massage to tweak your body and don’t have the time, Bare Feet is type of place you want to consider (especially in between your major Day Spa appointments that you may have scheduled).
Depending on the masseuse available, you will get a different experience every time (read the other reviews). If you want certain things done (or not done), mention it to the host at the front to translate that to your masseuse (most of them speaks Mandarin Chinese). If you prefer male or female, deep or soft, a specific person, just let them know, they will accommodate you if they can. Usually if you make an appointment, you’ll have a better chance of getting who &/​or what you prefer.
FIRST TIMERS: If this is your first time, I recommend only bring what you need (wallet, phone, slippers, & keys). Wear light clothing; shorts & t-​shirt is ideal. After walking in, you’ll see a bunch of reclining type chairs packed close together to maximize their traffic. It makes perfect business sense! The more clients they can accommodate at one time, the more income they can make per hour. There is a TV that plays very light instrumental music with relaxing scenes, which also provides the rooms light. Again, remember, you are there only for the massage. If you don’t have an appointment expect to either wait a few (or more) minutes or be turned away because they may be fully booked. Point: Make an appointment! And if they say they are fully booked, walk in anyways. I’ve gotten lucky every time!
MODE OF OPERATION: After being called up, they will separate the chair and ottoman. Place your belongings in the little valet (little box), sit on the ottoman and and wait for the attendant to bring you a tub of hot water to place your feet in. If you are a male, this is one of the rare places they allow you to take off your shirt. This may be a great time to emphasize what you want done more of or less of. [I mention this because I have a slight knee range of motion challenge. I used a translator app to make sure they understand. So far, so good!]
They will first work on your upper back while you are still seated upright. Turn & tip your head accordingly to get the best stretch on the muscle (trapezius) they are working on so they can really work and get best exposure of that area. They usually use lotion for the whole session, if not, request it. They will then twist your back while still upright.
When you lay on your back they’ll cover you with a large towel. Yes, they will move the chair forward to make room. They continue & work on your upper neck, back, scalp, and face. Then move down to your whole arms (including hands) & chest. Then upper legs and feet. They then flip you over and work on your whole backside (upper, middle, & lower back, gluteus (the 3 muscles of each of the buttocks), legs, and feet. Note, they may wing your knee out to stretch your lower back while they work on it. May feel weird at first, but it will result in a better massage of this area.
At the end, they may use a wet warm towel to wipe you off then give you the dreaded pat on the back and say «Okay» and it’s all done. Sit for a spell and continue to wipe down if you like. Again, you may get a different experience from person to person.
THE END: Don’t forget to retrieve your belongings. Walk to the front and pay.
NOTE: Each personnel WILL give you a slightly different experience. One may have a soft touch, another a deep feel, and another in between. I recommend going several times and figure who best suits your needs. I, personally have two favorites; one who has a medium touch and the other a very deep tissue feel depending on what I need at the time, I request accordingly.
GRATUITY: When I go late at night and the price at it’s lowest, I TIP a little generously. ie: If it’s $ 12 I tip $ 15. If I pay $ 20, I still TIP $ 15. The masseuse will remember you and service you accordingly next time they see you. Remember, they work for tips not for the wage and they do appreciate it.
PERSONALLY: I do come here about once a week late evenings when the price is at its lowest. I’ve been to other places like this in the Bay Area and it is hit or miss. Again, we do get what we pay for, in this case, it’s just the massage. I hope you found my review useful and really hope you enjoy your experience. Make it a wonderful day!

I have been to all the spots in this strip and I would say they are the best! I had King he did an excellent job and accommodated the dress I JD on which was a plus. With out asking he found my trouble areas and worked the most there! I will be coming back!

Excellent service by DANNY and affordable price -$ 20! I tipped Danny $ 10 because he is really caring and he goes through every part of your body. You can tell him to do softer because he uses a lot of push. I feel so great after hard working hours for days!!!

This place is OK for the price. 20 $ per hour can’t beat that. The only thing I don’t like is no privacy, no walls everyone is cramped up and sometimes they speak to each other which makes it less relaxing. I would only recommend this place if u are on a budget because they do give good massages

My bf and I always come here every time we go to SJ. For its value, the place is clean and the masseuses are generally great. So, why 3 stars!!!
This place can get loud. The employee sometimes talk among themselves. They wear shoes that make clicking noise on hardwood floor. And they’d be pushing the chairs up and down. UGHHHH! I know it’s hard when everyone share one open area but Im sure they can minimize the talking .
Then, right when you are about to fall asleep because you are so warm and relaxed, she might slap cold lotion on your legs and wake you up. I wish they warm the lotion up their hands before slapping it on my skin. I also don’t like how they pick up your feet and drop them onto the chair. Is it just me who doesn’t find comfort in that?
These are honest feedbacks I would like to give so that they can make adjustments to improve their business. After all, I would still come here. I just hope that the owner read this review and make adjustments.

Stopped by at 10:40 AM and was in a chair by 10:45. My lower back had been bothering me all week so I was hoping for some relief. Neil did a great job with a deep tissue massage. He used his elbows, forearms and fingers and asked me if I was doing OK if I pulled away a bit. He used oils and lotions on each body part and after he was done with an area, he would wipe me down with a warm towel.
I’m not very limber but Neil stretched my upper body and arms to the limit. He stopped when there was resistance. An hour later I was done and I felt a good «soreness».
This was my second time here and I had great service both times. This place continues to be the best $ 15 plus tip, that I could possibly spend.

Allllrighty, the second time I went here i had a guy masseuse.
Didn’t use any lotion. and if he did, it was not enough.
SKIN ON SKIN FRICTION THE WHOLE TIME. HELLO? I could feel the heat forming on my skin like some smoke was gonna start formin through my pores.
Only time there was any nice «lubrication» was when we got to my back where they always put that slippery massage oil on. but the rest of it, omg. did not like it at all.
He also didn’t use any hot towels on me like the lady did the first time i came here.
I could feel the calluses and just rough ridges of his hands everywhere JUST CUS HE DIDN’T USE LOTION LIKE WTH.
My friend i brought however, LOVED it. He had a lady masseuse, and got the hot towels, lotion and everything right next to me. Sigh. I was so thoroughly disappointed with this experience.
I suppose this means this place is quite the hit or miss.

Def affordable, but def not worth it. I rather pay some more $$$ for better services since I only go visit a spa/​masseuse once a quarter or less!

This massage place was the best in San Jose. been here with my friend on a long day shopping. when we came the place was all pack n busy. but the receptionist told us will have available in 15min, so we decided to wait, after 15min a lady came to us and let us be seated, we was so sacrifice with us massage cuz this time we got danny and jerry they was so good. I will come back n request them again for nxt time visit
Do not ask for Jessica or Jason if u want to have a strong massage, I think their new worker. last time I came me n my friend got Jessica and Jason but we not happy with it cause they are too soft for us so I have to tell them stop when is not 1 hour yet… anyway this place still is my favor place to come n get massage everytime I feel tired n need it lol…

We came here immediately after running a half marathon and a 6 hour drive from Southern California to Northern California. We were desperate to get our achey muscles break from the pain, even if it was a quick fix.
I’m a member of Burke Williams so I might sound a bit snooty because there’s no way to compare the two. It’s not comparing apples to apples. It would be more fair to compare this place to Big Foot Massage in Union City.
I would have given this place more stars but my experience here just got worse and worse by the minute for the following reasons:
— it’s crowded and loud
— the towels are wet and soggy
— the masseuse I had kept sniffling and coughing, and he started spitting directly on the hardwood floor!!! I was completely grossed out!
— the masseuse was really rough on me. He kept using his elbows and just was really hard with his hands
— all the masseuses speak Chinese to each other so I have no idea what they are saying to one another
— the masseuses are so cramped that they have to move our chairs back and forth to have enough room to move around
— the area/​location is East San Jose. They’re open pretty late, which seemed kind of sketchy so we looked them up on «rub maps». Most of the folks on there said this was a legit place so we decided to come.
— while I was waiting for my fiancé to finish, I saw a cockroach on the floor. I threw a magazine on the floor to cover it.
I don’t think I’ll be coming back here because my experience was just disgusting and uncomfortable. I’d rather drive all the way to Union City for that quick fix.

Don’t expect a spa. It’s your traditional Asian reflexology place. They play the cheesy music in the back and it’s $ 20 an hour. NOT BAD AT ALL! I’m all for cheap massages. I think they have a happy hour as well. but that was a while ago. It was $ 12. or was it $ 14 for an hour. That time it felt like the guy was beating the crap out of me. I asked him to go softer but NOPE. He continue to beat my back up, up, up. Yesterday’s incident was different. He did it just right and I felt sooooo relaxed. They do you neck, back, face, legs and feet. It’s a whole body massage. The face feels soooooo good.
You’ll see a lot of people here late at night. You’ll see nurses, restaurant workers, and everyone’s mama.
TIP 1: Ladies, if you draw in your eyebrows, bring a pencil with you. They will wipe that stuff off! It feels so good and I fill mine in… Best believe I brought my eyebrow kit.
TIP 2: I suggest you tip $ 5 or more. They work really hard so be considerate!
