They took care of me this time… Everything is great… Did the job real good… I will keep coming back here…

My brother-​in-​law always raves about this place and has been taking his car (s) here for a while, so I decided to give them a shot. I noticed they had a Unilocal offer for $ 100/​level 1 detail… I called them on Thursday ⁸⁄₆ to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning, and informed them that I’d be bringing my F350 in for the level 1 detail offer on Unilocal.They asked me if it was a 2 door or 4 door, I told them it was a 4 door F350, and they said it would be an additional $ 25…I agreed, and asked what time they could have it done, they said a 10am drop off would get it done by 3pm… ok no problem. Saturday morning (today) I woke up early and made the trek over from Almaden and when I got there, the person in charge told me it’s going to be ANOTHER $ 25 on top of the $ 125 we agreed to on Thursday, because it was lifted. I checked the website and Unilocal offer, and nowhere does it state that it would be an additional 50% surcharge for lifted vehicles. I’m pretty sure the kid just didn’t want to wash my truck, so tacked on another $ 25…that’s bad for business, and I definitely won’t be recommending them or coming back.

Auto image has been taking care of my car ever since I’ve started worked nearby. The place is nestled away inside a country club so the cars this facility handles are on the exotic side and they provide the same level of care for all cars.
Matt has been taking care of my car for awhile and is quite knowledgeable about the work that needs to be done on the car. Also lets you know to come back if you notice anything wrong with the car. Keep up the great work guys!
Note: it’s always better to call ahead for this place and set up an appointment since they can get very busy certain times. It’s not a big establishment so capacity is limited.

I purchased my car about 7 – 8 months ago. My car seats started to have random stains out of no where, possibly from the previous owner, but for whatever reason, it just kept popping up. Due to this reason, I was in a search of looking for a place that can do a great job for a decent price!
I came across Auto Image through Unilocal!I was actually going to go to the location in downtown. When I tried setting an appointment, I took the day off, but the downtown area werent going to be able to schedules the day off, so they directed me to this location.
At first I was a little hesitant, but my goodness! The job is well done! The stains were removed and the interior of my car looks brand new! Not only was the work great, but the customer service was also TERRIFIC! Kris helped me out with my car. He even told me that if stains popped once it’s dry, they can give it another go, and they did! The second time was a charm!
I spent $ 95 in total, $ 15 for a quick wash, $ 70 for shampooing my nasty seats, and $ 15 for tip (& I’m not much of a tipper unless if it’s a superb job).
I would gladly love to recommended Auto Image to anybody! They’re very professional people; great service!

It was my first time here, and I stopped by to get my car detailed for the first time in forever. Made an appointment at 9 AM for a Deluxe Detail, and it was finished by the stated time slot. I was in a rush to leave for an event, so my overall glance at the car gave me the impression that they did a decent job. However, upon closer inspection at my next stop showed that the overall job was slightly sloppy. The underside of the car was still visibly dusty and dirty. Now I understand that it’s going to get dirty regardless, but if I just paid for a detail I would I expect it to be washed with the entire car. My middle console was also not cleaned, because there were still sticky stains around and in the cup holder. My headlights were still streaky. The air filters were still dusty. And lastly, my rims were not cleaned well enough. I basically over paid for a car wash I could have done at home, if I weren’t worried about being ticketed $ 500 for wasting water.
I don’t treat my car very often because I live in SF, and come to SJ on the weekends. The fog always ruins my freshly washed car when I head back for the week. I was expecting a lot more out of this four hour detail session.

I purchased my first car last November and was told by my coworker that it’s time to do a first wax of the year on my Camry. I read A LOT of Unilocal reviews on which place had the best review and Auto Image came out front.
I scheduled an appointment last weekend for this morning’s appointment. So I went to drop off my car at 9AM (feeling poor and envious as I drove through the Country Club and noticed all the mansion houses). I was greet by an older gentlemen who was very polite and told him that I wanted a Level 1 Detail which is $ 185 (I used a Unilocal discount so my total was $ 85 WORTH IT!!!). Around 12:45 I received a call that my car was finish and ready to get pick up.
Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Mario and I told him that it was my first time to Auto Image which he proceeded to give me a walk through of what he did specifically to my car and certain areas where he says a lot of places miss when they wipe down the interior and exterior. I was amazed how shiny and clean my car was! I was told to test if a wax was applied to the car is to run my hand across the paint to see how smooth it felt and boy was I blown away!!!
Mario, you have got yourself a new client because I will be going back for monthly basic washes!

Started taking my car for their basic wash (internal/​external) here about a year ago since it’s the closest car wash to home and had pretty much the highest Unilocal rating within the 20 mile radius. They do a pretty good detail wash inside and out and they do it all by hand, no machine other than the vacuum. Will not take my car anywhere else as long as they’re here.

I took my Mercedes here this past Saturday and I received excellent customer service from a young gentleman Martin. He was very polite and professional. I went in for a basic wash and Martin went over the car with me. Overall I had a good experience, I will definitely come back soon.

I used these guys as a last resort due to time constraints for our wedding day, since I only wash and detail myself. (No one else has washed my car for 8000 miles, or since I bought my car). I was crunched for time, lived in the area, and saw they had decent reviews, hand wash, and seemed to be more professional than the regular car wash places.
Overall, they were very courteous and professional. So that’s why I have 3 stars for service.
I got the mini-​detail, which is just a nice wash, shampoo carpets, and wipe down interior. No wax or polish, since I only do this myself with my own products.
When I picked up the car at around 5:45 pm, the sun was shining directly on my baby, and I noticed the quality of the wash. It was nice of them to take up 2 parking spots, which was a plus. But the paint had micro scratches all over, plus the dirty water water mud residue on the back bumper from the tire fling was noticeably still there. I read from the other reviewer that they use a squeegee to dry the car. *cringe* that’s probably the culprit. Unless it was from the used and abused wash mitt or dirty soapy water. Oh well, I will polish them out later. (Note: I’m positive those micro scratches weren’t there before, because I love to stare at my car every day. I pick out any tiny dirty particles on my soap mitt and micro fibers prior to cleaning, 2 bucket wash method with grit guard, air dry with leaf blower, follow up with detail spray and microfiber.)
Now the interior, the overall was clean and leather conditioner for the seats was fine, carpet floor mats clean, but I found a decent scratch on my drivers side tinted window, about 1.5″ long. Also, there was scratch marks on my tint on my windshield. That’s probably my fault since I didn’t tell them there was tint on the windshield, but still, they should be gentle wiping down. On the door handles and panels, they wiped it wet, but didn’t wipe dry, since there was dry water streaks present. For the tach and speedometer windows, there was still dust present, so they didn’t wipe there. The rear windshield was also not cleaned from the inside. I was hoping they would, because it is tight to get back there and I usually avoid it.
Again, overall, the location (Silver Creek Country Club) is convenient, and the guys are nice and professional. But the wash methods could be better.
I have not tried any clay, wax, or detail services yet. Perhaps it’s also best to schedule earliest in the day to get the fresh and clean wash materials.
(Note: This last part has nothing to do with the review, but more of a recommendation) It would be awesome for any car wash place in the Bay Area to have compressed air or a leaf blower to clear out water in the nooks and crannies. I’ve only seen this in Southern California. Always sucks to drive away and a streak of water runs down the sides.

We dropped my car off for a detail and an interior cloth seat cleaning. We dropped my car off in the morning and at about 3:30 we called to see if it was done. The guy said «oh it’s been done, I am surprised nobody called you», which did irk me a little bit, but things happen so no big deal. We go to pick up my car and as the guy is doing the walk through, we both recognize at the same time that they never cleaned the front seats. The back seats were done, but the front seats weren’t. So, we had to leave my car there and then were told to come back in an hour. Went back in an hour and the seats were done and they looked good. It was irritating going back to pick up my car when I had already come back once but the owner was extremely apologetic and told me he did the front seats himself to make sure they were done right.
He did a great job on the car so I can’t complain. I just wish they would have done a more thorough check of the car before telling me to come pick it up. I would still go back and get my car detailed again though.

I stopped by today for interior cleaning on a tight schedule. These guys started by washing the exterior and when they saw the interior, they called me and asked if I could come back tomorrow. I hike rain or shine with my daughter and a golden retriever so I knew it would need some extra work.
They didn’t charge me for the interior wash at all and they wouldn’t take any money from me until I came back tomorrow. Who says service and understanding are a thing of the past. These guys are great. I’ll be back tomorrow.
I strongly recommend these guys, and the outside of my car looks fantastic. I have no doubt that tomorrow so will the inside.

Got a deal from «SignPost» for $ 65 towards the $ 135 package. These guys really take pride in what they do. They are closed on Sundays but told Mario that was the only day I can take it in and he worked it out for me. Car came out looking nice and just what I was expecting. Good job from good peoples.

The staff is so nice. I called to make sure the price and which service i should get for my car, and got all information i need. Then, i decided to go there today morning. I was surprise since auto image is all the way up to the hill. I arrived at 8:45 (as the last review said) am and saw they were being busy (guess i’m not the early bird). Their price is much reasonable than i thought. At 2:30 pm, Mario called me to pick up my car and it was so much clean especially front engine which used to had a lot lot of soil. Not only that, the exterior was sparking and interior was great. Everything is just as I expected. i got Express detail n add seats washed Though the seat n mats were wet, i understand that it needs time to dry. So, nothing to complain. This is my 1^st time here n will definitely come back again with my friends!

Pros: Excellent cleaning of exterior and interior. Reasonable prices. especially for Silver Creek.
Cons: Location is not too convenient, unless you’re in Silver Creek. Then it’s great!
Suggestions: If you need any body work… even for scratches… look elsewhere.

In preparation for selling my 9 year old Acura CL to the car dealer to offset the cost of buying a new one, I scoured the bowels of Unilocal to find the highest rated detailer. Since Auto Image received 5 stars from 25 of 27 reviews, I decided to look no further.
I spoke with Mario on the phone to get a sense of their service, hours and prices. He was very helpful, so I made an appointment to drop my car off 2 days later.
I knew Auto Image was inside the Silver Creek Country Club, but surprised to see it’s essentially a carport for 2 vehicles located adjacent to the headquarters building about ½ miles from the entrance. A large shed serves as their office and storage space for supplies.
Mario said Auto Image opened at 9 AM, but I got there at 830 AM to make sure they had enough time to do whatever was possible to restore some dignity to my car. Around 835 AM, a young guy rode up on his bicycle to get things started. I signed up for the «Express Detail»…a thorough cleaning of the exterior and interior… at $ 135. For the most part, they delivered. And at $ 135, it was an excellent value.
By 3 PM, the outside of my car was much cleaner, shiny and smooth than the job at any regular car wash. The inside looked almost brand new. Although the fabric on my floor mats was still wet and needed to be dried overnight, that was a small inconvenience compared to everything else.
The one significant fault I must mention is Auto Image does not have the ability to «buff out» surface scratches. The young guy (who was very personable) indicated another shop owned by the same people closer to downtown San Jose provided such a service.
Some may say Auto Image Detailing is a glorified hand car wash. Maybe it is. But if you understand their limitations, they’ll do the job well enough to earn 5 stars.

A-​OK!
I just wanted to first state that I am obsessive about detailing cars. Sure, I’ve only owned 2 cars in my life, one which was a Toyota Corolla at that. My current car is just a Nissan, but I obsess over the paint. I’ve never once in my lifetime paid for a car wash (on my own cars), but I recently broke my foot and thus have been unable to walk, much less stand/​wash a car for an hour or two. I am able to drive, but I cant really walk, so as soon as the rains dried up, I needed to wash the car. Let me say that the car has not been driven in nearly 2 months, but prior to the 2 month break, it was driven in lots and lots of rain. It was FILTHY and when I read the reviews on here, I figured I didnt have much to lose. They seemed to be pretty thorough and careful according to the reviews. However, my 3 star rating completely reflects my OCD nature. The guys who work here are friendly and just as detailed as everyones reviews state, but the following are the reasons for my 3 star review.
I called them up and asked if they could fit me in. They called me back within a few minutes and I was on my way to the country club. Awesome!
Firstly, I got just the basic wash. The asked me to pull my car into the stall (it’s a 6spd). The younger guy working could probably tell I’m worried, so he asked me if I could move the car in there as he couldnt drive stick. No problem whatsoever! I’m actually really grateful that they were up front with me about this, nothing hurts more than someone stalling your car in front of you! Anyway, I pulled it in and they immediately went to work. There were 2 guys working on the car at the same time. The older guy, owner? sprayed down the car with a high pressure sprayer and the younger guy went to work coating the parts where he already rinsed with a cleaning/​soap solution. Nothing wrong here, except I was slightly worried about the pressure/​close proximity of the sprayer to the car they were using. High pressure sprayer’s are awesome for cleaning cars, but too close and you can mess up the paint.
Next, they scrubbed down the car. They used a familiar sponge to wash the car, a basic tile sponge which can be had at lowes/​home depot for about a dollar. I use these myself as they do NOT scratch paint, and are awesome for the value. The problem was, the sponge they used was stained and dirty. I don’t doubt that they cleaned the sponge, but a dirty looking sponge doesnt exactly make me comfortable considering I throw away these sponges after every other use. After that, they took out a heavier duty micro-​fiber wash mitt to scrub down the dirtier parts of the car that the sponge didnt take care of. Nothing wrong here, the mitt looked clean, but my only issue is they didnt rinse the mitt at all. Those as OCD as me know that you should be rinsing the wash mitt in a bucket of plain water (2 bucket wash method) to remove any contaminants/​dirt from the mitt which keep scratching from contaminants to a minimum. While they most likely did not scratch my paint, I was hoping they would at least use clean materials/​go the extra step and rinse things
After they scrubbed down the car, they dried it.duh. Their drying method was simply to use a squeegee and chamois. Chamois are also known to put micro fine scratches onto the clear coat. Nothing a polish wont remove, however, it is something to note. After the car was mostly dry, they vacuumed the car and cleaned the glass. My gripe about cleaning the glass was that they used a terry cloth on my tinted windows. Anyone who owns tinted windows should know that tint is very easily scratched with terry. Ideally you should be using a microfiber cloth and a special glass cleaning solution. Vacuuming was thorough and they even dusted the vents, corners, any every other little area where dust might settle. Awesome job!
They also did a final wipe down of the car. They did use a microfiber here, which was great, but the problem was, even with microfiber’s non scratching ability, this only holds true when the towel is moistened. A non moist microfiber will actually put micro fine scratches in your clear coat!
Even with a few little things that I noticed in their workmanship, the guys who work here are great workers. We chatted while they washed my car and they seemed like genuine guys. While not everyone is as OCD as me, I do have to give an honest star rating for those that are. I was in and out in about 30 minutes and I left them what I thought was a nice tip. Great guys, and I would definitely come back again if I absolutely needed to pay someone to wash my car… but I’m definitely going to have to polish and completely detail my car once im back on my feet

Auto Image Detailing is the best auto detailing company that I have ever used, and I have used many other companies in the past. I have been using them for at least 2 years now, and we have our 6 cars detailed ~ once every couple of months. They do an awesome job, and I have NEVER had a single problem with them.
They are located within the gates of the Silver Creek Country Club, however, you do not have to be a member to utilize their services. Anybody that lives in the Country Club, Bel-​Aire, Hillstone, Ranch, or the Meadowlands should use them. I actually live in Bel-​Aire, and they pick up my car at my house and drop it off when they are done.
Thank GOD for these guys… Getting my car detailed used to be such a pain. Not anymore…

Well, now I can see why Auto Image Detailing has so many great reviews. I had a very good experience recently with this business. I called and they were able to work on my car the next day. I only wanted the interior to be detailed and they were a heck of a lot faster than they initially said they would be! The car looks incredible inside — like brand spanking new! Never in my wildest dreams did I think my old car could look so good again.
I also want to comment on the customer service here. I find it to be absolutely excellent. Fernando was really helpful and personable and went the extra mile to ensure that I had a great experience regarding the detailing of my car. I can tell these guys work really hard and they carry on an excellent business. I highly recommend these guys for all your auto detailing needs.

Do you know what it’s like to drive a Ferrari? The thrill and excitement rushing as you hit the gas pedal? Neither do i, but the best thing i can do now is have my cars detailed next to one and get the royal treatment for my baby.
I’ve been going to these guys since 06 and they have never disappointed. Awesome packages that seems to be custom made for me makes it affordable.
The other great thing for me, go hang out in the club house and get food and drinks while i get my car done, go play golf, or walk home and watch TV or take a nap. It just doesn’t get easier than this.
