Very tasty hot Afghan naan bread. One of the best Afghani breads we’ve had. Their wheat bread is also very good. Their bakery & fresh bread is hidden way in the back of the store. Grocery store, halal meats, feta cheese & Middle Eastern groceries & goodies & drinks.

This is a small family owned market. They make their own bread. They also have the whole wheat bread as well. Call ahead as they run out of whole wheat bread fast. It’s a small super market but they got just about everything you are looking for. Good feta cheese too.

Anwar Bazaar & Bakery is of the mid east/Afghan genre. small store with produce, halal meats, groceries, snacks, baked bread, etc. unsure of pricing, just looking for eats eats: «date» bar dessert(2.99) –sweet tasty dates smashed into a «bar» with filling within figuring out how to eat can be spared on bread/toast crumbs: –saw lady with sheets of afghan bread leaving stor sheet looked 1foot by 3 foot.(looked liked oversized naan. –friendly service and explanations.

The store is small, but they have a wide verity of items. I love the fresh fruits and vegetables. The halal meat section isn’t as elaborate as the International Market down the street, but the prices are more reasonable and they have halal boneless skinless chicken thighs. They also make and sell fresh Afghan bread. This place is definitely worth checking out.
