I have two children attending Almaden Academy (9^th and 1^st grade). My 9^th grader for 3 years and the 1^st grader for about 2 months. What I love about Guiti is that she is so personable and really makes math fun for all age groups. Since the older one started, her confidence and math grades have improved tremendously. Previously she attended Sylvan and felt that their tutoring wasn’t tailored enough to her specific needs and school curricula. Because Guiti has children herself and has substituted in the local schools, she’s very much up on the challenges the kids face in math. She has given my daughter many helpful study techniques, has reduced her anxiety about math and has helped change the tears to smiles. The younger one looks forward to her Sunday morning sessions with Guiti and has shown a lot of improvement, especially in her overall attitude about doing math. Finally I like that Guiti keeps me posted weekly on progress and gives me advice on working with both girls at home.
