Mel Bretzke has over twenty-​five years experience as an accomplished landscape and water feature contractor. Mr. Bretzke owns and operates Advanced Landscape Systems, a San Jose, CA based design-​build company that specializes in Koi fish ponds and water features.

Mr. Bretzke’s love of natural designs feeds his desire to mold raw material into living works of art in his projects. Utilizing a wealth of experience with hardscapes and softscapes, Mr. Bretzke builds everything from concrete patios to garden settings with waterfalls and Koi ponds. Mr. Bretzke has a strong eye for detail and takes pride in satisfying his clients landscaping needs.

His strong technical knowledge combined with creative insight has satisfied hundreds of clients since 1985. The company also sells pond products direct to contractors and hobbyists.
