Love this place, the owner is honest, quick and nice! Most smog places want to get as much money as they can out of u and here they don’t. The owner makes sure ur car is all set to go before she smogs it or charges u! I recommend this location for smog checks to anyone!!!

I got my smog check done here on my 2006 Honda S2000. The service was quick and friendly. I really enjoyed my time here and look forward to coming back in two years.

Wow wow wow. This could be the only smog check station run by a girl. Katrina is friendly and professional. Her smog station uses current & state of the art system. Got mine smog check done quickly without the hassle. Highly recommended. Gotta come and check out for yourself.

I was referred here by a friend who raved about how nice and courteous it is here and I must say he was 100% right! Not only nice and helpful, but my smog was done by this petite woman who jumped in my truck and ran it on the dyno! Lol completely AWESOME! Don’t even think of getting a smog elsewhere, this is the only place to go!

Very knowledgeable lady! I bought a car that had been sitting around (non-​op) for 5 years. Brought it to the shop. She said because of the new battery, needed to drive on freeway to Morgan Hill and back, long enough for the computer to reset. I did and everything went smoothly. I learned something new today.

This place is just great, on 7^th Street just before Tully, you’ll see the sign. Katrina is friendly and efficient. I took my new to me Corvette there and she drove it on to the ramp and immediately began the test, done in 20 minutes from the time I drove up. Only complaint — I had to move my seat back about a foot to get back in the car! Highly recommend.

The husband and wife were really nice. They might sound rude or don’t care to a lot of people, but that’s just how they talk. Very friendly and easy going once you get to know them. The wife usually sits behind the table doing her own thing unless you talk to her. You can’t blame her because she doesn’t know if you want to talk to her or not.
Overall, it’s a nice place.

Beware: Amy (the lady probably at the front desk) is shady. First thing I noticed is the way she talks, r-​u-​d-​e. I feel like she doesn’t care about the smog… just the money. She is money hungry… in a bad way though.

I got my mom’s van checked for a flat $ 50. Seemed a little steep to me, but what do I know? I’m a woman after all (sarcasm).
The location is in a teeny tiny parking lot with other car repair type places and everyone stares and you awkwardly. The waiting room was so gross. The couch was so low that my knees were almost to my chest. The receptionist was very nice, but come on lady, I see you sitting there, can you clean something? The couch looked like they got it off of the side of the road. I mean, I know car places are usually not the cleanest places, but come on… I think I need a tetanus shot.

Worst place ever. BTW, don’t trust Amy H’s review, she was the person working the desk… shady.
We took an older truck here and they completely botched the test. They said the timing was off, gas tank didn’t hold pressure and the vacuum lines were disconnected. I took the truck to our mechanic who said all the above was false and whoever did the test didn’t know what they were doing.
On the advice of our mechanic we didn’t take the truck back, but thought to give them another chance. So, we went back and asked if they would smog a 2004 vehicle in lieu of the retest since it was done incorrectly. The technician agreed and once he was done he and Amy H tried to charge us $ 45!!! We left and found Brightside.
Did I mention 7^th Smog charged $ 65 for the botched smog on the truck, and Brightside (up the street on Phelan Ave) charged $ 45 and did a GREAT job.

Smog check required for my DMV renewal came thru the mail and had to find a Test only station. I always get PennySaver thru my mail once a week and knew there had to be a good deal. Thought I give it a try. Came upon 7^th Street Smog Test Only for $ 25.50 + fees in big bold numbers… it caught my eyes because others cost around $ 29+. Hey, why not save a few more dollars :) and plus its close to where I live. Very convenient. I saw on Unilocal that it closed at 5pm so I called the place and luckily it closes at 530pm.
The place is small with plenty of parking. One car station only. Met Katrina (owner) and told her I saw the ad on PennySaver for $ 25. And also asked if they accept debit cards. She said yes and quoted me $ 35 total. That includes all the fees. Wow… what a deal! Katrina was very helpful, honest, nice & friendly. She made me feel comfortable and was conversational. There was a car ahead of me so waited for about 10 – 15 mins. Not bad. She even offer me a caprisun drink while waiting. How thoughtful ;)
It took about 10 minutes or less to get my car smogged. Katrina had left during my smog and told me the mechanic will take care of my payment & paperwork. I gave him my debit card and he told me usually they dont take debit card payments for $ 35 but will take it just this one time. Their minimum charge is $ 40 because of some merchant fee. I wasn’t informed of that so he said it was ok. Thank you for taking my payment. My car passed… yeahhhhh!
So if anyone out there wants to get your smog check done here, please bring cash if u dont spend more than $ 40. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. 5 stars for the price, friendliness and service!

So I came to this place cause the primary Smog Test Only I normally go to had some issue with their Evap equipment. And guess what? Lucky me, my car is older than 1996 (1992 Honda Civic) and needs this machine to test my gas tank or something like that.
Learned that this place opened not too long ago last year. The place is pretty clean and there is plenty of parking. Did I mention I hate when I can’t find parking? :) No need to worry about that here.
The service was fast and professional and most importantly, I PASSED for my 412,809 mile car!!! So if you have doubts about your vehicle, they offer a Pass or FREE re-​test (see picture posted)
