I didn’t know there were so many bad reviews ! The thing is if u get a massage at SGV area you should know the rules. 5 – 10 for a foot massage and 10 – 20 for a body massage. If you are a person who tips 5 for a body massage and complaint about being asked more then don’t come here. I always get a massage from SGV Valley and try different places and this is the best place so far. Price is a little bit higher than others but if you get the 12hrs package for $ 320 the price is reasonable. And you can ask for other services like cupping ! Anyway, the place is not bad at all !

Gosh this place doesn’t even deserve one star. Came with some friends and we paid $ 25 each for a foot massage … Um I thought the price was $ 20… Unless that old man in the front ripped us off! Anyway I realized that when I left but I seriously didn’t want to deal with this selfish idiots.
During the massage, the two ladies kept yapping. Non stop. One of the ladies also had her phone on and was talking on her phone while massaging me. So unprofessional and unbelievable. The back massage (included in foot massage) was sort of nice in that the lady put enough pressure but then they also put you in this certain position faced down where it’s super uncomfortable. As for the foot massage, they rub a bunch of oil and petroleum jelly on your feet which is gross. They also massage with gloves on which have this weird slimy feeling. Not soothing at all. Overall HORRIBLE experience… Don’t ever ever ever come here.
Yes they also rudely ask you to give a $ 10 tip. Wtf they don’t deserve any tip!!!
I came on a hot summer day and it was stuffy in the massage room. I got the «private room» for 2 people but it’s not even private cause they just leave the door open. Small room with some old couch.

I spoke to some lady named SKY… yeah…that’s her name. Any who, I was given some gift cards some years back, and I wanted to finally give it a go… I called ahead and asked if the gift cards were still valid, the gentleman on the phone, assured me that the cards will be accepted. Ok, I go in, and was rejected… as per Sky, the cards are not the same kinds they use now, therefore, not acceptable, I told her that I called ahead to make sure they’d be accepted, and she sighed and said, «I don’t know, I just work here, you call talk to the manager about it… He’ll be here on Friday morning…» She’s has zero customer service skills and can’t seem to handle this type of issue… don’t go here… as you can see per the other reviewers who did get to experience this place, wish they hadn’t.

Inside was clean but staff chit-​chatting so loud, I can’t relax at all. The lady who gave me massage seem like she had no idea what she was doing :(I felt like she just glided the oil and rub on my skin…(I don’t like any strong pressure, if I felt only «rub or glide «that is a big no no) after my session gv the lady tip but she did not appreciate at all… even ask me for more tip…

I don’t want to even give this place a star… First time getting a massage here and last time. The lady who massaged me asked if i ate too much which should have been the red flag then as she was massaging me i asked her several times to lower the pressure but didn’t listen then while she was massaging me she was texting. to make my experience worse i let the manager know but instead of listening to my problem she rolled her eyes at me and folded her arms and started to provoke me with giving me an bitchy attitude… She never apologized and when i asked for a refund she refused and kept telling me they were closing at the end i left more angry and sore… i usually love massages but this place made me hate getting one… DON’T GO HERE THEY HAVE THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! THEY ARE MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE EMPLOYEES GETTING TIP THEN THE CLIENTS.

For their price you can not complain much. Besides, their massages are not bad, really. I had good, strong full body massages and foot massages here.

Terrible!!! I am still here, after 10 minutes foot massage, the lady said she had to go, because she had to do full body massage for another customer who just came in. Well because full body pays more. What the f*, she just left here here with my feet still soak in the water. I will never come back to this place, EVER!!!

Had 2 body massages in the same room. The ladies didn’t turn off their cell phones which led to a lot of distractions. Also one of them felt it necessary to gab with her partner. Massage was decent enough for me though my gf felt her masseuse had a nail which was scratching her painfully.
Afterwards as I was giving tips I was informed that I needed to give more as $ 10 was required. Um, wtf? It’s not listed anywhere (except these Unilocal reviews). Build it into your prices if you’re hurting for income.
Don’t come here.

Horrible place to go because of the constant loud talking between employees in a place for relaxation. I looked up for a quick second and even saw the woman texting. Gave a nice tip despite everything, and still had the nerve to ask for more. Do not recommend. Like c’mon who asks for a tip after the tip is given? Nobody.

My husband and I had body massage with them. $ 28 per person for one hour sounds good deal to us. However, the service was not good, and they didn’t really press at the right spot. (Doubt if they have license.) We gave them $ 5 each for tip at the end, but they asked for $ 10 each person! That’s 50% !!! I don’t think they deserve 50% tip.
This will be our first time and also last time with them.

Crappy uncomfortable oversized cracked chairs that scrape your butt/​legs if you wear shorts. I don’t recommend coming here! It was $ 18 to get a massage but the place is NOT worth it. I came here with four people and they made us wait. They took us all in knowing they didn’t have enough people to work on us at the same time. Obviously we came together to get our massages done at the same time… anyway, they expect a $ 5 cash tip at the end, not to mention, you have to pay first before you even get their service. –Which I find quite odd. normally I get a massage first and then pay. Anyhow, after my massage was complete, I asked to break a $ 20 with change and the lady would not give me any single dollars. They had no idea what I was doing since I already had some single dollar bills in my wallet. I was trying to pay for tips for 2 people since both me and my husband came together. I saw some dollars for change on the table where the lady at the front desk was but the lady lied and said they don’t have any dollar bills and only gave me $ 5s so that I was forced to tip them $ 5 each. So I got upset and just told them to split the damn $ 5 between the two of them. We got chased out because the male massage kept the $ 5 tip for himself and did not split it with his coworker. It was by far the WORST massage experience in my life!

–Crappy massage (especially the leg part. just felt like they were just rubbing you up and down with the same motions)

Definitely NOT! –P.S. There’s a $ 15 massage place 3 minutes away from here. I probably should’ve went there.

$ 35 for body massage. i expecting higher standard rather than just rubbing oil on me.

This WAS my go-​to place to get a great massage for an outstanding price, but that ended this last visit.
Here are 5 good reasons I’m never coming back:
1. Poor full body massage
2. Dirty showers/​Poor hygiene
3. Massage therapist was RUDE! I gave her a $ 10 tip and she looked at me like I gave her a single $ 1. I wished I was smart enough to not have given her a tip at all.
4. Communication is key in massage therapy. My massage therapist couldn’t speak a lick of English
5. Foot massage was just okay… I think my MT cut my time off by 10 minutes.

I wish I could give this place NEGATIVE 5 STARS because they deserve it.

1 hour full body massage for $ 35. The place looks fairly clean. This place is an asian massage/​foot flexology place. The masseuses didn’t speak any english and the fact that I knew how to speak mandarin was very helpful. The lady that massaged me was really nice and attentive. She did a great job on my backaches… I was really relaxed. The lady that my bf had was really strong and he was in pain at the beginning especially when he didn’t tell her to soften the pressure because he couldn’t speak her language. I normally do not like foot massage places, but since I was only there for a body massage, not much to complain about.
From previous reviews, they had mentioned about the ladies talking during the sessions. Those ladies do talk quite a lot, so if you’re comparing to Burke Williams or any other American spa massages, this place is no where close to that. But if you just want someone to loosen your muscles or aches, this place can do the trick.
Tip:
1.) Make sure you tell them how much pressure you want.
2.) Make sure you tip them at the end. (at least $ 10 or they will chase after you for more $)

I’ve been here maybe two or three times and it is a fairly clean looking place. I’m not really a foot massage type of guy. I really don’t like foreigners touching my feet and giving me a massage because I know they probably didn’t wash their hands from the prior person they worked on. I don’t know their hygiene and that is probably why I don’t really care to go. I don’t think any of them have certifications or really have any sort of formalized training which scares me because they can seriously & physically hurt you the way they massage your backs.
I find it pretty sad that this is a representation of the Hilton Hotel in this area. I would think the hotel would want a top notch spa representing them but okay.

Now…No females work doing foot massage anymore…
Now…Body Massage was weak
Came in with a few friends… and thats when I found out about all the changes… I thought okay body massage should be good… Nope…
So many places around the corner… across the street… walking distance… I rather go somewhere else now… sorry Vivid…

I used to come here very often.
But starts to see their bathroom and changing rooms get dirtier and didn’t come here again. But i like master Tin, very professional foot massage master. He left Vivid and join Happy Foot Massage Spa. I am going there ever since. Call him today! (626) 542‑5155

Fuck this place! It’s ridiculous.
The sheet they gave me to cover myself had a HUGE stain on it. I wouldn’t have noticed if my boyfriend hadn’t pointed it out though. GROSS.
We figured that a $ 5 tip per person would be okay, since the massages weren’t even that wonderful. NOPE, bitch straight looks at us and says «we have a policy that requires $ 10 in tips per massage».
So sad that I didn’t have my phone with me to check the Unilocal reviews before going into this place.
Don’t bother with this place.

If there was only a negative star to give!
First, never ASSUME– assuming that Hilton is connected to Vivid would make this place a better Spa is just stupid.
My ex boyfriend suggested this place, which is how i first heard about Vivid, he said this was the cheapest place for a full body massage and at 28 bucks a pop, i thought why not! But fortunately for us it was too pack that day so we just left.
I came back again with my mom recently and paid for it up front — I should of walked away right then, as the lady was a rude ass son of a gun, not looking at us in the eye, not smiling. bitch was written all over her face!
my mom and I walked into a dinky, half painted room (as we requested to share a room) they gave us a torn and thin sheet to cover our naked bodies. I don’t get why we needed to even be naked as half off the massage was over the sheet. (which by the way made the massage more painful and not effective)
When she was massaging me i felt like i was paying her to torture my body. It was horrid, it felt like she was either pinching me or just straight out placing unnecessary oil on my body. unnecessary because she didn’t even massage anything !!!
by the time she took off that thin layer of sheet to massage my nakey body. other parts of my body was shaking. it got to the point where i was frustrated enough to let her know this massage seriously is not up to par! I am not happy! I felt a bit snooty saying that but it truly was THAT bad. The whole time i was thinking wither or not to give them tip. but since my mom actually fell asleep from it, i thought why not– 5 dollar per girl which i thought was more than enough.
When I gave the front lady the tips they had the Audacity to say. umm 5 dollar? we usually take $ 10 per body massage. I responded «well, it truly does not deserve 10 dollar» and left.
Wished i can go back and take my money back!

If you like a good beat down (which I usually do) for around $ 28+10(tip) then this is your place. Otherwise, I think Vivid tries… but it falls a little short.
So as mentioned, the full body massages are $ 28 for the hour. Walking into the «spa», you will feel like you’re in China somewhere. And I don’t mean that in a good way. You have these Chinese lady workers lounging around in the dimly lit rooms. Talk about ghetto. The setup itself isn’t bad, it’s just the way they present it.
Walking into the couples room (I opted to go with this one cuz I thought I could talk to my other girl friend and relax), you’ll notice how gross the walls look. They desperately need to repaint those walls. Also the «couples» room is pretty tiny. The «masseuses» will be stumbling over each other and climbing on top of you to give you your massage (maybe you like this?)
Anyway. The massage itself was not relaxing. The masseuses were talking amongst themselves about how hard their lives are. And how many hours they work. And how little they get paid.
If you come. I recommend getting your own room and pretending that you do not know English. Then, maybe you’ll get a beat down in some peace and quiet.
