I was so tired and sore from lack of sleep and moving into a new place and also driving for long periods of time. I’ve never felt so tired before in my life and I’m only 21 years old. So I went in for a massage and Anita was awesome. Perfect pressure for my body and she has a lot of strength in her touch. She undid all of my knots. Full body massage. Definitely worth it. I immediately regained all of my energy. 100% recommend. Ask for Anita! It was amazing. I will definitely be back

If you’re looking for Chinese acupressure, this is the right place. The masseuses are extremely capable at acupressure massage and can work out knots with amazing strength. I had been in extreme pain and incapable of twist turning my head to the left for a week. My one hour massage with Anita helped restore my range of motion completely. However, if you’re looking for a pampering, relaxing, and gentle massage, this place may not be for you. Chinese acupressure focuses on pressure points with strength and intensity, in order to be effective for muscle pain. I highly recommend this place to anybody in need of acupressure. The private room is also very clean and the price is not bad($ 30/hr + tip). I did not have an appointment and was seen immediately at 7:30 pm on a tuesday evening. By 8:30 though, there seemed to be a full waiting room.

Not a great experience. The lady who performed the massage not even close to my expectation. Plus don’t even give me back any change. Worst place ever.

It was a Sunday night. Didn’t make an appointment, didn’t have to wait. They have good rooms, good hands, good service. Nothing to complaint about.

I came with my girlfriend on a Friday afternoon without any reservations. The place wasn’t too crowded and they put us in a couple room immediately. I think this place specializes in body massages because we didn’t see any chairs for foot massages. We asked for the hour long body massage for each of us. I got Annie and my girlfriend got Anita. We both thought they were really strong and capable masseuses. Annie asked how I wanted my massage at the start, but Anita didn’t ask my girlfriend. They were also really friendly and spoke decent English. Paying was super smooth and not awkward at all. They stated politely that it was $ 30 each plus tip and we ended up paying $ 40 for each massage. With a smile we left our separate ways, and I’d definitely come back for body massages.

Took a day off to run some errands and recharge the batteries. Part of recharging includes getting a massage. I’ve tried other places but hate the constant chatter so I decided to pay a little bit more and go to a place with actual tables instead of the typical reclining chairs. I found this place on Unilocal and decided to give it a try. For $ 30, it’s money well spent. The rooms are clean and neat and quiet. Lucy was my masseuse and she really worked my body particularly my shoulders and back where I was knotted up. Most definitely will return. $ 30 plus $ 10 tip and near my home-easy decision.

Awesome massage for an awesome price. The massage therapists use some strong hands to help relieve back pain. I’ve gone twice so far and most likely will be coming back. They might be old chinese ladies, but they get the job done! I’m very impressed with their service!

If you are interested in trying out thai/chinese massage therapists, there is a very decent amount past the 710. Seriously, this is my third place since moving out to La Puente & they are LEGIT! The 15 month old is getting heavier & my left shoulder & lower back are always on fire. This last time, I couldn’t raise my arm over my head. These ladies did not quit & went almost 40 minutes on just getting me mobile. For the price? You cannot beat $ 30 for an hour & it’s not a wimpy-ass massage. No mercy, ladies. Show the knots, no mercy.

It’s a no nonsense type of a place. Located on the 2nd floor, this place can work out any knots and aches. I would definitely go back since I like strong hands!

I’ve been suffering neck pain since my car accident in August 2014. I went to a therapy Center and m orthopedic surgeon for 6 month treatment but not really recover. There’s still pain and soreness. Finally I tried acupuncture and massage offered by Michael Sui. After 2 visit, I felt a lot better now !! I don’t need to bare the pain anymore. Feeling like back to life! Highly Recommend !!! For the massage service, no kidding, it’s professional. This is a best spot for you to relax and relieve your muscle soreness . I’ll bring 2 friends here the other day .They’re very satisfied with the massage quality. No hassles. Just one quick phone they get everything set up for us ! I really enjoy my experience with LS .For those who is suffering pain and soreness, you should come here and try . The outcome is amazing !

I am walking out feeling extremely angry about this place. I don’t even know how to begin and i had never written anything on Unilocal before but i had enough. The lady asked me to come in for 3.30 pm to replace another 60 mins full body massage late appointment. So i did come on time. They start at 3.45 pm. the massage was initially okay but there was a lot of. loud noises everywhere, people walking and yelling in Chinese. And i had to tell her twice to be lighter because it started to hurt. At 4.00 pm, the original 3.30 pm. person showed up, getting very mad, yelling with the owner wanting her appointment back. So there are a lot more yelling in Chinese that i absolutely do not understand. Then you know what they did to me? She stopped in the middle of my sessiom, yelling some more outside the room and asked another lady to replace her to massge me instead. And she has to go for another apppointment. I told them i am done with 30 mins. Forget it, i just had enough.

Customers beware. Unilocal contact info is for owner. She has no clue as to availability at the shop. Had a 1:30pm appointment, when I got there, the ladies told me there are no availability and asked if I had made an appointment. What??? I said you told me 1:30pm! They were rude about it too. Kept saying Unilocal contact is wrong, that’s the owner! Do I care??? NO… as far as I’m concern, I had a 1:30pm appointment. After considering the time and traffic it took me to get there I agreed to wait to do the 1 hour massage vs. the 90 min(had to get back to work). When I asked about the pricing, it was very inconsistent. Such a scam. They said pricing on Unilocal and special offer not available. At that point I’ve lost all confidence in this place. I just told them forget it. You guys obviously don’t have a clue on how to conduct a legitimate business. Summary…wrong contact, appointment issue, rude service, and inconsistent cost! Does that spell trouble?

I was extremely tight and sore from some time«out camping»(Military Camping — long days, sleepless nights) so I had a friend pull-up a place I could go to in order to «tear apart» my body. For starters, before you read the rest: the massage was fantastic. I didn’t get the name of the woman who worked on me(you’ll see why later), and she did a phenomenal job. I was stiff and sore with knots all over my back and neck and she ripped at all of it. I opted for the STRONG massage and it was definitely a bit rough at times, though I walk out feeling relaxed and a little less right The thing that disappoints me is as such and why the review is a three: 1 — the lack of a «calm» environment. Meaning, I would have personally preferred some music to help my mind relax. What I hated most was all the chatter from all the masseuses working in the area. As a typical white-boy American, I don’t mind anyone using their native tongue, especially in SoCal. However, it’s another when you are being loud and obnoxious to the point that it robs me of the calming experience I am after. I come for solace, not for chatter boxing. 2 — my masseuse answered a phone call and a text message during our session. I think this is very unprofessional. As a customer, I selfishly think I should come first. I’m paying for the time and not for you to answer personal calls that can wait. If that’s a bit«Me» oriented and that offends you? I’m sorry. I pay for the service and that’s not«lip service». 3 — the«mandatory» tip at the end really agitated me. I tried to give my masseuse $ 5 for a tip because my Unilocal check — in was a $ 25 massage.(I think the Check In is a rip — it’s always $ 25 $ She proceeded to tell me the tip was $ 10. No. The tip is what I give you. I didn’t mind the extra $ 5. I minded that you thought I had to tip to some standard. I tip the service, not what you want. All-in-all, I would return as the massage was very good, though I was a bit disappointed with some particulars, which is why we have a 3 instead of a 4. It’s worth your time if you can accept its not the«Spa Experience» they put it out to be with the accoutrements and architecture.

I don’t Unilocal much these days, but Tina is worth writing about. WOW. I needed that. She gave me some tough love. Came in around 7:30 pm on a Saturday. No wait, masseuses available. I had called one hour in advance and made sure I’d be ok to get in immediately. Private rooms with doors. Take off your shoes before you enter. Strip down to your undies, lay down, poke a hole in the paper for your face and enjoy a hard Chinese massage. Tina definitely gave me the full hour and I walked out tenderized and feeling like new. This is no milquetoast entry-level Thai massage. This is the real deal. Be ready for a pummelling and you will enjoy. Yes, the ladies talk to each other through the walls. Yes, they are watching tv. No, I didn’t hear any relaxing music. Yes, they have a bathroom available. This is not a fancy spa massage but if you’re utilitarian like I am an just want some work done on those knots to alleviate your aches and pains, then this is the place that can handle it for you. Definitely recommend.

This place is legit for it’s massage. My masseuse elbowed all the knots in my back into submission, she asked me if the level was ok, to see if I can handle her power. I gotta say, I almost caved in a couple of times and told her to back off a bit, but I stayed the course and let her do her thing. It was really really intense at some spots but when she was done I felt very loose and limber, it was great! This is no swedish cake walk massage. They will beat you up good here.

I feel that I need to write this review in defense of this place. The English translation may say massage, but the Chinese business card makes it clear that this place is for tui-na treatment. Tui-na, like accupuncture and herbs, is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It’s like chiropractor on steroid. When I was first introduced to tui na back in Macau, I was warned to not call my tui na treatment a massage. It’s like calling the chef a cook or the dentist an oral hygienist. Big etiquette bleach. It always hurt during the treatment as they try to straighten my spine and tendons. I always questioned when I’d pay money to get tortured, but I always feel great afterwards. In other words, a tui-na is not for relaxation. It would be like expecting your dental work or mammogram to be enjoyable. If you want a foot bath and some relaxing rub, look elsewhere. However, if you have some aches and pains, you will find relief. I walk out from a treatment with a straighter posture, a lighter step, and the carpal-tunnel-like pain in my hand from using my phone too much gone. That said, the aunties at this place aren’t tui-na doctors, but they are the closest thing I’ve found on this side of the Pacific. They really know how to work you and give your spine a satisfying pop. Oh, as the aunties are very curious about their ranking here on Unilocal, here’s a vote for Susanna. :) She is great, and she speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin.
