Very Friendly, and quick service. I just took my 2000 Toyota Celica to Clean Air Smog Center, I called around local smog check center; they will charge around 50 – 60 dollar for a single test. So glad I found this shop on craigslist; and they charge :
$ 30 — 1996 and newer vehicles onnly (price includes State Certificate & Electronic Transfer Fee)
$ 35 — 1995 and older vehicles (price includes State Certificate & Electronic Transfer Fee)
$ 50 — RV’s (price includes State Certificate & Electronic Transfer Fee)
Overall, this business saves me a lot of money for smog check.

Quick and easy service. The technician there was very systematic and quick about taking care of smog check after the other even though it was just him working that day. There were two people ahead of me but he still managed to get my paperwork ready and had me fill out their form and when it was my turn he tested it and we were done. The best part was it was just $ 35 and only took 15 minutes including the wait when I just showed up on a Saturday afternoon.

It’s that time again for another smog test from the dmv. I hate it when a big form comes through the mail and states SMOG TEST needed before registration to your car. I’m glad it’s once every 2 years for the recent cars.
I used to go to the smog station close by Garfield Ave and Alhambra Rd. but their prices are higher than others.
I searched around the SGV area through Unilocal to find a decent smog station to bring my daily beater corolla. I found this place. It’s in the corner of Rosemead Blvd and Olive St.
James was very friendly and gets the work done right away. No bullsh$#. I was afraid I was going to wait long because there were 3 cars ahead of me and it was very humid that day. But he was speedy fast finishing them up. Right after 30 minutes, it was my turn. Wow. What quick service that was. After a couple of minutes, my car was done, paid them, and I was on my way to register my car.
The cost of smog testing is ONLY $ 35 for 1996 cars and up. $ 46 for older cars under 1996. I love the prices. James said he wants to be competitive and bring in more business that’s why he kept the prices lower than the other smog stations. Some stations cost $ 57 for my other older car but this smog station kept it in a cheap price you can’t beat.
I would recommend to anybody who needs a legal smog test for a cheap price.

I used to go to the on Las Tunas & Muscatel behind Arco but i decided this time to try and find another place that might be better. Boy, did i find it!!!
This place is much easier and faster. I drove there and just drove right in. The test itself didn’t take that long about 15 – 20 minutes and i was out. James was working that day. He is really nice and great to talk to. He even offered me a water bottle since it was scorching that day. Great business man and mentality as well based on what i talked to him about.
It was alot easier with the flat rate of $ 35 for cars 1996 or newer. Better than calling places just to get a price estimate.

This is the best Smog Check Station in town. They do Test Only and Regular Smog Checks. Very cheap priced $ 35 out the door price! $ 45 if you car is older than 1995.
James is the guy who helped me out, he is very friendly and knowledgeable. I was in-​and-​out within 15 minutes. The please is clean and conveniently located on Rosemead near «The Hat». There are comfortable chairs for you to sit in while you wait.
They have a special deal where you refer 3 smog checks and your next one is free.
I already took my van, truck, roadster, and rice-​rocket there to get smogs checks. My next smog check is Free!

James was very friendly and helpful. He apologized for taking so long (I had only been waiting 15 minutes), and then he called me over to explain why the smog check was taking longer than usual. His machine wasn’t reading the correct rpm’s on my car (my car is too new but it’s from out of state so I have to get it smogged for registration), so he said he would have to refer me to another smog station. He called another place just around the corner and said that they would honor the $ 35 fee (which they did!). Amazing customer service that just made my life easier. I would definitely recommend going to get your smog check here!

Love the service from these guys. No frills, no quickie price changes or unnecessary lies about additional services for the car.
Smog check was $ 35, in & out within 20 minutes. There is a little sun covered area to sit & wait while the car is being checked. The gentleman who serviced my car was nice & check my wheels for me too. Score!
I highly recommend them. & if you are price checking, this is one of the cheaper smog stations in the area. I called several other locations prior (Rosemead & Las Tunas charges $ 39.99 if you call & $ 59.99 if you show up).

Excellent service by James and cheap price! I’ve taken all my cars there! I would refer all my friends and family. He even has a mini gym to keep yourself busy while getting your car check! Ask about his referral system… James doesnt try to rip you off and tell you that to smog a Honda or a Mercedes is the same SH*T!

After reading previous reviews, I decided to get my truck smogged today at Clean Air Smog Center. First they were open on Sunday a big plus and then when I arrived I met James who was very friendly and knowledgable. He quoted me a price that I thought was a mistake because it was way lower than everybody else. It was correct. If I could give more than five stars I would. The work was performed efficiently and fast. Never had such a good experience doing this. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their vehicle smogged. I am coming back here from now on…

Super fast service, spacious lot, convenient location, easy access, ample parking, low price, knowledgeable and friendly staff… This is as good as it gets for smog test only stations.

Quick service. Cheapest smog check station in the area. Ample parking. After a month, I still didn’t receive my CA vehicle registration sticker so I decided to go to the DMV. However, I lost my documentation from the smog check so I called up the test center and asked if I could obtain another copy. The owner told me to stop by the shop and he pulled my file and gave me another copy of the smog check paperwork. He also verified online that my smog test went through and told me about the website where I could check myself:
