Beautiful Glow

So I bought 2 rejuvenating facials with microdermabrasion treatments for $ 109 on groupon. What a mistake. First appointment I can’t find the location, for some reason they forgot to mention that they are inside the hilton hotel. And not on the 1^st floor on the 2^nd. So I call & they can barely understand me eventually they meet me in the hotel lobby & guide upstairs to spa. So they check me in & I go change in their locker room. The locker room has no sauna, spa, water, tea, etc. Anyway I get inside & she proceeds to do the facial. Although I thought it was weird that there was no sink but whatever it was a ok (nice warm towels, great massage) But after my facial the owner led me to her office, she then tried to get me to buy packages I swear it felt like I was at a car dealership the pressure was so uncomfortable (I didn’t buy anything & I couldn’t wait to leave I practically ran out)
Okay so a week later I call back to verify my next appointment & she can’t find it after about 15 minutes she finally finds my name in her books. So I get to my 2^nd microderm facial appt. & the lady failed to perform BIGTIME. I had to tell her to turn on the steamer & then she kept dropping everything, it seemed like she didn’t know what she was doing. I asked her where the hot towels were & she said «not ready yet» like really how do you not have towels ready for your clients facial? That’s a big time no no. During my facial massage another woman walks in & is talking in chinese to the lady doing my facial it seemed like they were arguing (I was like «is this real life»)Throughout my entire facial I could hear women talking so loud in chinese outside the door. My technician could not speak english clearly so I couldn’t ask her any questions because she couldn’t understand the words that were coming out of my mouth. I didn’t even finish the facial I just told her I had to leave.
On my way out of the facial room I noticed how dirty the room was. If the board of cosmetology walked into that room they would have their license revoked.
I tried telling the front desk lady what happened & she literally ignored me & tried to just push me into the little room to sell me packages & bundles. I said no & left.
My advice to fellow Unilocalers would be RUN RUN RUN from this place seriously.

The spa is beautiful and you get friendly service. I would definitely recommend Candy for facials, my skin is beautiful and glowing. Yan Yan the manager was extremely nice as well. I will return!

I came in here for the groupon for microdermabrasion and LED light. I was immediately seated and waited for a nice lady to take me in. This was a nice facility inside Hilton hotel! As I was walking in, She didn’t give me any directions and showed me to the room to change. I was confused where to go for a couple of min staying there. After that, I went to a random door and sat down. Fast forward to room, I was given microdermabrasion; lady was nice but lacked communication. I had NO idea how hurtful the device can be and she did not even tell me when she was going to use it on my face. Not only that, but she didn’t tell me what she was using the whole time until I finally asked. I didn’t quite like the whole experience as much because I wasn’t explained what was put on my face for each application.
After, they took me to a room for «consultation» and asked me to book an «acne» appointment. I declined as I had to leave for errands. Right now after a week, I don’t see a big improvement on my skin. Next time, I’m doing a pumpkin spice facial as I see improvements right away.
Tips: Get your free facial for checking in! I actually liked the facial!

Good place, very clean and beautiful surrounding feeling at home very serene the staff are very polite and kind. I’ve been a customer for almost 8 years now and live in Riverside distance is not matter because the place, staff and wonderful amenities is awesome most of all they make you feel like you’re in paradise design of beautiful glow place is the Best.

Lihn Lihn Lihn! I’ve been coming to Beautiful Glow for a while and Lihn (the only Vietnamese there), the aesthetician here is PHENOMENAL! She has the most magical hands on my face and neck. I’m a very picky person when it comes to having people touch my face because it’s hyper sensitive but after my appointments with her, my skin feels great. Not only is she talented at what she does, she’s also the sweetest person! Beautiful Glow is a fancy spa at the right price. A must try…

I didn’t want to leave a negative review, but unfortunately the zit that the facialist popped hasnt healed after 3 weeks and Im seeing a future scar. For a $ 168 cold therapy mask, go somewhere else. There are tons of Asian spas with much cheaper options. The cold therapy machine or tool can be found on alibaba.
Another disappointment were the MEO products that Chloe sold me. She swore that she uses those products herself. I asked her where were the products from and she told me France. Wrong! She was EXTREMELY pushy, but I didnt mind. However, not knowing or making stuff up did bother me. The gel mask, which costs $ 98 (with discount), burnt my face. Definitely not for sensitive skin. The toner was very drying. The foaming wash was interesting, but nothing I would recommend to people with dry skin, besides, my face didnt feel clean after using it.
The extra star goes to the lady who told me that I didn’t qualify for the sculpting therapy due to my kidney disease.
As I said before, I didnt want to leave a negative review. The ladies were nice, pushy, but nice. But I just felt that I needed to let other Unilocalers know about my negative experience. Im a loyal customer, and as you can see, it is not hard to sell me stuff. Im all for trying anything, from $ 5 facewash from CVS to a $ 165 Tatcha cleansing oil. However, being lied to isnt something that I appreciate. Plus, scaring wasnt nor isnt something Im a fan of.

My experience at Beautiful Glow was amazing! The staff were all so friendly and welcoming! From the moment I walked in the décor and ambiance was beautiful and soothing. I got the microdermabrasion treatment, and afterwards my skin was so soft! I would definitely recommend Lihn! She is so sweet! My appointment was right after work and it was the perfect time to just relax and unwind. I would highly recommend coming to this spa to everyone!

*UPDATE*
They really blew it this time. It’s the second time I’ve been there for my appointment and there is no masseuse for me. The first time this happened, I had to wait an extra ½ hr while they scramble to find someone to service me even though appointment was made and confirmed.
This time I went in, the receptionist was nice and spoke fluent English. However, when she delivered the bad new to me that my appointment was cancelled, I was like, «That’s not possible. The appointment was confirmed just yesterday.»
I had made the appointment several days in advance and during confirmation yesterday, one of the ladies with broken English told me 3:45. I told her, «the appointment is at 3:30». So, it sounded like they had someone butt in front of me and it’s a chain reaction where all the appointment time got pushed back. Fine, whatever. So, I agree to 3:45. Then, she was like 4pm would better so I don’t have to wait. WTF?! Fine, whatever x 2. We both repeated couple times that the appointment is now at 4pm tomorrow.
Come today, went in just to find out my appointment got cancelled. I’m SO done with them! Can’t wait to finish the treatments I’ve already purchased, so I don’t have to deal with them any more!

Annoying and pushy sales practice. I understand the need of sales to sustain and thrive, but as a patron, I’m going to a spa to relax, not to be upsold all the time. From masseuse to esthetician to beauty consultant (or whatever their title is) are trying to get you to buy packages and upsell treatments.
Very disorganized scheduling. Messed up my appointments at least twice and wants me to accommodate to their schedule after appointment has been made. Should have told me when I inquired about availability. Even called me to go in for a treatment when I didn’t make any appointment for that day (they got confused on the dates).
Their limited English is starting to bother me as well. I suppose when a person’s patience is running thin, nothing seems right. Communication is a slight problem when I have to repeat myself couple times and/​or the opposite party doesn’t understand what I’m getting at.
Verdict: wait & see. Hoping the scheduling will improve and upselling will die down.

I love this place! It’s a very high end place. Today I did a cool mini treatment for my double chin. The staffs in the spa was super professional and friendly. They first did a free consultation for me. Then took photos before treating me with the machine. I had the treatment done in their VIP room, it was very well designed and comfortable. During the treatment (which was an hour) I had television shows and movies that I can pick to watch. And the staffs offers me their custom Apple dates green tea and some fruit and snacks. The total experience was wonderful! Can’t wait to see my result!

I recently checked the beautiful glow in Hilton on valley. Friendly staff brought me in with house tea and fruit cup. The technique is very friendly and professional, they even show me how to take care my skin at home and give me some tips about which products to use that fits my age and skin type. The price is average and place and service is amazing. 5 star experience with average price rate. Will defiantly go back again.

This place seems to be fake.
They actually dont want you to be their customers.
I saw a groupon deal and since I was leaving the city the next week; I first confirmed with them if they have an available appointment only then I would buy the groupon deal.
They mentioned you neednt buy groupon deal we can give you ‘Rejuvenating facial with microdermabrasion’ for the same price.
Since they had no other date, I was ok to spend my Sunday where as I had other plans.
Upon arrival, they directly gave me a form to fill and sign all over.
Then they say ‘We are sorry we cannot do Microder since you have a pimple’
They had neither consulted me the same over the same which is a VERY basic question nor did they want to do a facial.
Where is the fine print which mentions if you have like ONE PIMPLE we wouldnt do it.
It is part of HILTON. They suggested me to go for Acne treatment (where you know in one sitting they can do no better) which was for $ 168 whereas my original groupon with all the discounts $ 59. Who are they kidding. There were 3 ladies and they hardly understood english and kept asking me to show the groupon deal and I kept explaining what was my conversation over the phone. I also mentioned I am a «Hilton member» and since this was already a deal and you didnot ask me about my skin texture. They just wanted to sell their stuff.
I mean who has a facial of original price of $ 436 to discounted deal to $ 59.
They had no shame and were not ready to help. They later scared me that you can have a rash and your face can be red when they clearly mentioned they wouldnt do naything around that JUST ONE PIMPLE.
This is not a place to waste your time.
Being a HILTON MEMBER I am very disappointed with the way I was treated.
Show some hospitality and ask questions when you have upfront and not call the customer and waste his /​her time.

Beautiful glow is my favorite place to get a facial. I’ve tried 3 other places and this place is the best by far. I feel that they use the best products on my face. I leave feeling great and pampered. It’s definitely relaxing and everything you want in your facial experience. I love Esther. She has some awesome skills. I feel that she takes her time with me to make sure that I receive the best treatment possible. Look for them on groupon if you’re looking to try them out for the first time. You’ll get hooked like me.

I did a facial here! It is a hight-​end place, when I walk in I felt very comfortable and relaxing! People work there are very friendly! The beautician did wonderful job to me! She is very nice and I like the massage which she did on my face was fantastic ! Also they offer desert and some fruit after treatment which are tasted so good! I very recommend this place!

I do redeem my groupon here cause its almost due. Both tx facial and body and i do have good experience. Today i do body tx and i do appreciate the service. My service done by lyn she is special. I love it. They wont judge ur body type, thats what is most important when u do business like this cause if u do sometimes it will offend the clients. Yes for people who like try service with promotion dont get upset or write bad review if the place start selling you and pushing you to buy their business cause thats how they make money. Facial is good but for me it’s not really complete if its not come with the extraction and facial hair removal lol cause my regular place spoil me with all that on my facial day. ^~^ anyway i love the place is clean, service is good, staff is nice. I love how accommodating this place is with my crazy schedule, this place is getting popular tho so have to reserve the appointment early! Owner (Sally) is nice and staff are professional :) parking is convenient and equipments are up to date and effective. This is my not so secret get away when I want to pamper myself!

I received a 5 star service when I had a massage therapy here last Sunday. The Manager and her staffs are welcoming me with a smiles once I walked in. The Spa is very high class, nice, neat, clean and the Masseuse is very experience. Also I offered drink and fruit before and after the service, way to go! I definitely will come back with friends.

I have been here mostly for micro facials. The treatments I have been getting are amazing. They are extremely clean and friendly. The whole process is relaxing from beginning to the end. After the service, they will do a follow up meeting with you. From what I’ve read, they do try to get you to purchase packages. I feel that they have really reviewed what Unilocalers have wrote and are less pushy.
I will def be coming back for my regular mircos!

DO NOT GO! Worst service ever. If you look at most of the 4 or 5 star reviews, most of them are written by people with less than 10 reviews. Very SHADY!
I bought a groupon for a couples massage. I booked an appointment for a Sunday weeks before. I got a call two weeks before saying that they don’t have enough masseuses for a couples massage on Sundays. How can you operate a spa and not have two masseuses on a weekend? So okay, I changed my appointment to Presidents Day Monday. When I arrived they said they could not find my appointment. They said there was something wrong with the system since Tuesday so they lost all client phone numbers and appointments. No phone call, no offer to reschedule. Manager was also conveniently not available. Of course also no authority to offer a refund.
That is by far the worse massage place I have been to and I have been to many. The service at almost any of the $ 15 places is better than them. If you want a fancy massage go to Ann Karen in Arcadia. For facials try beauty culture in arcadia for good service and atmosphere. I would definitely skip this place and I suspect most of those 5 star reviews by people with only one review is a big scam. I think this place will close down soon for good reason.
So it has almost been a week and no one has bothered to call me. That’s the level of service at this place. Good thing I bought the voucher from groupon because they issued me a refund. Probably got a bunch of other complaints. Good luck to those who purchased a membership with them because should you run into any problems you will never hear back and never get a refund.
