They put on entirely too many coats of nail polish that your nails can’t dry properly. In addition to this they said my nails were dry, let me put my shoes on, and it wasn’t dry. Why? Because they put on 4 coats of nail polish in addition to the top coat. Waste of money. Trying to go to an event and I look like I let my 3 year old niece do my nails. 2 stars because at least everyone is really nice when they’re screwing you over.

Awesome! Cant wait to go back! They are super clean, have a great selection of polishes and are very attentive.

I came here for a day of total relaxation. This place is a great place to visit. I got the Zen’s Deluxe package. I asked for the jelly foot soak & exfoliation. Which was fantastic! As well as my facial. I think I need to come back here.

Have been going here for mani pedis. Love their jelly «foot bath» :-) It’s a bit pricier than other salons, but definitely a very nice & relaxing experience!

I’m only giving this place two starts because the décor is nice, and the receptionist was very friendly.
I arrived to my appointment on time, in fact I even arrived a little early. I sat down upstairs ready for my manicure. I asked the lady who was helping me if they had pink glitter (I could see some on another table, that a girl who had already finished her manicure had just used). The lady told me no, they don’t have it, so I agreed to just used the gold glitter I had already brought up. Then as she started removing my nail polish another client walked in and hugged the lady that was helping me and sat right next to me. I’m assuming she was a regular because after this the lady who was helping me proceeded to rush through my manicure.
She forgot to file two of my nails, which I reminded her about. All nails on my left hand were filed crooked, and when she started to apply the nail polish the application was very uneven. There were a couple of more things that I wasn’t happy about, but what disappointed me the most was that I had told her that I wanted a few coats of the gold glitter by itself on my ring finger. She said no, this is better, and started to put on the color and planned to put glitter on top. Before she put the glitter on, I said you know you are clearly in a hurry to get to your next client so just leave it without glitter.
I was not happy with the treatment because I had an appointment and it’s not my fault that they either double booked me or the other client showed up early. For all they know, I could’ve become a regular too… I was also not happy with the service, so I will not be going back. Sorry for the long winded review. I took a day to think it over and reconsider leaving a bad review, but I am still frustrated.

Oh Zen Day Spa. I didn’t want to do this. I gave you all a second chance and you STILL screwed the pooch. The below review details both of my experiences at this spa… my 2^nd visit being a birthday gift to myself.
1^st Visit — I actually stumbled across this spa, read the reviews and decided to book a signature facial. When I arrived there was some kind of bridal party there having a Spa party, which the spa is famous… or rather INFAMOUS for. The attendant put me in this tiny room downstairs next to the front desk. WARNING — NEVER allow them to put you in this room. it’s previous life as a broom closet is evident not only in its location but in the fact that the massage table, you, and your therapist will BARELY fit in it. So I lay down for my facial and can here the women from the bridal party yapping away as if they are standing over me. I asked my technician if she could turn some music on to drowned out the sound of the party and because she is too short to reach the nook where they house the controls she goes and gets another technician… while leaving the door ajar… who squeezes in, knocking my bed several times due to the small quarters but thankfully gets the music on, which dulled the outside noise but in no way masked it. My facial itself was good. Not great, not terrible, just good.
2^nd visit — MY BIRTHDAY — I booked a spa day… facial, body scrub, gel mani and hot stone massage. I mentioned over the phone that it was my birthday and I explained to the reservationist that I did not want to be booked during any of their parties and DEFINITELY not in the downstairs room due to my previous experience. she assured me that neither would happen. so I arrive for my birthday spa day and what’s going on… AN EXTREMELY LOUD SPA PARTY. I get the manager and explained that at the time I me my reservation I was ASSURED I wouldn’t be booked during any parties due to noise ruining my last experience. So the manager switches around the order of my services so that I have my mani first since the party would be over by the time my mani was finished and I could enjoy the remainder of my services in relative peace. My facial and body scrub are divine, everything is going great UNTIL I’m told to go downstairs for my hot stone. WAIT, WHAAAT! NOT THE BROOM CLOSET AGAIN. Well they actually didn’t put me in that room for my hot stone massage… IN FACT THEY DIDN’T PUT ME ANYWHERE. I was told by the girl at the front desk that the therapist that does hot stone massages had gone home. WHAT THE HELL!!! At this point I’m sure I’m being punked. But no, the therapist just went home and all I was offered was an apology and the option to rebook my hot stone massage at a later date… UHHHHH NO. I’ve been getting massages for over 15 years and this has NEVER happened to me. So no, I wouldn’t rebook here if world peace depended on it.
I pay my bill. BTW — they offer 10% off your services if you pay cash, but no birthday specials. What kind of under the table bull is that?!!
The salon’s ONLY ray of redemption is their therapist/​technician Tao. She is incredibly sweet, thorough and amazing at what she does. She is the ONLY reason this spa gets a star from me because frankly she is a STAR.
ADVICE TO OWNERS — FIRE THE FRONT DESK GIRL. She is sweet but you can’t fix stupid… and boy is she all kinds of that. Sweet, polite, pretty, and S.T.U.P.I.D. FIRE THE MASSAGE THERAPIST THAT JUST UP AND LEFT… (unless it was the front desks mix up, of which i have a feeling it was.) Either stop booking spa parties during services or find a way to sound proof your rooms. And return that downstairs room to its previous glory as a broom closet.
Yes my review is scathing… YOU RUINED MY BIRTHDAY… THIS WAS YOUR SECOND CHANCE… But try to see past the scathing part to the real issues that you should be concerned with at your spa.

By far one of my personal faves. Very clean & classy. Has a relaxing atmosphere & the attention is definitely there. Love their pedi’s!

Absolute 5 star for waxing, and excellent service and experience overall. I called to see if they could take me about 20 mins before closing on a Sunday and they were very nice about it. Thao (not sure about spelling) was extremely thorough and polite, but my #1 rave is that there was absolutely NO double dipping! I have tried so many places here that claim not to double dip and then do, I was so happy that it was the clear and absolute procedure at Zen not to double dip. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, especially given the rates which were not bad at all (an actual steal given the quality). I will be back, highly recommended.

Rave! We held my bachelorette party at Zen Day Spa and it was perfect! Trang, the event coordinator, was SO helpful every step of the way and believe me it is not very easy organizing 6+ ladies with jobs, and kids and whatnot. She was so friendly and accommodating and made the whole process really smooth.
The spa is nice, clean, cute and in a great area. We even found parking out front! They had set up our own little space for the party, complete with decorations and goodies and let us bring our own food and drink and they provided the cups, plates, napkins and space. It was easy and everything looked perfect! They even provided us with glasses of champagne! Swoon!
The ladies and services were amazing! Everyone said it was the best pedicure they’d ever had. Manicure, pedicures, massages, we were in heaven! We said we’d come back every weekend if we could, not to mention two of my other engaged girlfriends are already thinking of planning their bachelorette parties there!
I would give ten stars if I could! And I hardly ever leave Unilocal reviews.

I loved it. I got a mani pedi and wax for $ 70. It was simply the perfect experience. The price is surprisingly amazing for what you get. The jelly pedicure is simply the best. Try this place!

After a bad first experience at Zen I was surprised to see that Trang the owner of Zen had contacted me. She apologized for the bad experience and asked me to come in again for a free mani pedi which I appreciated. I finally came in today and was pleasantly surprised at how attentive the lady was while doing my manicure pedicure.
Everything was fine I was happy with the service but yet again… After looking at my in better light… (It’s pretty dim in there). My nails the 2^nd cost wasn’t applied evenly and once I got in the shower noticed she had cut me during the mani and pedi.
Zen spa fooled me twice. Never going back even for a free mani pedi.

Amazing service!!! We had a planned spa day for my cousins Bachelorette weekend, and everything was set and planned perfectly. The workers are all super kind and provided awesome hospitality. We even had a cake provided for us which was delicious! Also, they had refreshments and candies provided. If was a nice, clean, relaxing spot. I definitely recommend this place for a day out for the girls, or even just to freshen up and get a pedi while in the city. :)

Super fun and relaxing. Took a bachelorette party of 4 here for the day. They took great care of us and even gave us fruit pastries. Definitely book a party in advance if you want multiple services. Everyone was very nice and all of the girls had a great time! Thanks!

I was looking for a place to have a bachelorette party spa day and found this place on Unilocal!This place is amazing and perfect for a spa day! They have a little area for your party where you can set up your own food and drinks. They even surprised us with a delicious cake for the bride to be! There are a variety of services to chose from and super affordable compared to other spas in the area.
They are really accommodating. Some people in our party were a bit late for their appointments but they still accommodated us with no questions asked. Trang was awesome and helped make the planning so easy! And Linda at the front desk was amazing! She was super sweet, helpful, and really made us feel at home! All of the staff was wonderful! I would definitely come back here again!

I’m constantly using Unilocal,but this is my first time I’m writing a review. That’s how amazing this place is. My mother hosted a birthday-​spa party for me just recently and we cannot stop talking about how great of a day it was.
Reasons why they’re remarkable:
1) Trang, the Event Coordinator, along with the other ladies at the spa were very, very, VERY accommodating, not to mention flexible (when it came to switching appointments around).
2) They allow you to bring in your own food and drinks… at no extra cost.
3) The service prices are affordable.
4) The services itself were incredible (many said that they had the best massages, pedi, manis, and facials that they’ve ever had).
5) They made it livelier by allowing us to play our own music.
6) They never rushed you through your service.
If you’re looking for a relaxing day at the spa, Zen Day Spa is the spot to go. Thank you ladies for making a special birthday special.

My go-​to place for waxing. They do a great job at a good price in a nice environment.

I wouldn’t recommend this place for waxing. I came in for an underarm wax (which I’ve had done many times, so it shouldn’t have been complicated) and they did an awful job. Lots of hair broke off — by the next week it looked like I needed a new waxing. Cute interior though. Customer service was just okay, not too friendly.

Amazing! The service, attention to details And ladies at Zen were spectacular! I hosted a bridal shower day spa we had Mani/​pedis, massages, facials And scrubs And each service was one of The best I’ve had And each woman in our group agreed. The ladies were So friendly And had a delicious bottle of champagne And a custom cake for The bride! They let us enjoy our time before, during And After all spa treatments. Most successful spa Party I’ve ever planned/​experienced Thanks to The owner Trang And The wonderful Maylin!! I recommend any girl who wants this done right to go to Zen!!! Definitely will be back for The amazing facial And More

I’ve NEVER had someone tend to my feet like that! So meticulous, intricate. Definitely didn’t just «go through the motions». Absolutely incredible. See pic of shiny red toes.
Oh, and the massage with the pedicure… I didn’t want to leave. My goodness.
