It’s small but very authentic. In lieu of traveling thousands of miles to HK or Guangzhou to get your wishes listened to, this is a great temple to pay your respect and give thanks to the gods.

Friendly staff. Can get crowded on certain celebrations. This is when I wish the ventilation is better due to the amount of incense burning & blessing notes. Various figures like Wong Tai Sin, Guan Yin, Guan Gung, Wong Sifu, Buddhas, etc.

This is really nice little temple. I was a bit nervous about coming here. I thought I would look like a fool because I have never been to a temple to pray and I have never kau cim. Thankfully, the people who work there were very nice and helpful. I let the lady there know that I have never been to a temple before and never kau cim. She was really nice and explained how everything worked. Even if you don’t know Chinese she has a English book called Kuan Yin’s oracles that you can read to understand your cim. I’m going back next time.

My friend told me about this place a few days ago. She said she wanted to come a couple days ago so I accompanied her. You can pray and worship guan yin as well as other gods. They charge you $ 5 for the incense and everything. Besides worshipping and praying to the gods, you can also kau cim and ask for your fortune here. They charge you 50 cents for the fortune paper and if you want your fortune explained, it’s another $ 3. This place is kinda small but it’s pretty quiet which is nice. I felt like my mind cleared after I worshipped guan yin and kau cim. Will probably come back in the future.

Came with my mom the other day. It was my first time there and didn’t realize how small it was after driving countless times by. Although it is on the smaller side, there is everything you need to do your praying and anything else you need to do at the temple. There is a lot of staff and they are all very nice and helpful.

I passed by this place many times on the 44 but today is my first time coming in here. This place kind of reminded me of the Wong Tai Sin Temple I’ve been to when I go out to Wong Tai Sin District in Hong Kong!
The staff here are very friendly!
Whether your religion is Buddhist or you specifically want to know more about the Buddhist religion, this is one of the Buddhist temples to go to! If you are taking a world history class that focuses on the different religions and its traditions around the world, this is the place you are looking for. Going to Buddhist Temples, Churches or other religious places for praying and worshipping is a very interesting experience!

Nice little temple in the heart of San Francisco! You can pray to Wong Tai Sin, Guan Yin, and Guan Yu. You can do your traditional burn the incense and there are some kneeling pads for you to use.
There are little Buddhist items you can purchase, which had been blessed by monks. It is said that it would protect the person who is wearing the item. Also, you can ask for (ping on foo), but that would take some time to get (about a week). You would have to give the name and birthdate of the person you want to bless to the staff and they will pass it on to the monks, so the blessing process can begin. To save some time, just call in with the name and birthdate.
