From my personal experience, Wm Properties doesn’t have a fair policy when it comes to picking prospective tenants. Wm Properties contacted me and told me that I was qualified for a particular apartment unit and had met all screening criteria. The representative sent me the draft lease and asked me to fill it out. I completed the draft lease, faxed it as soon as I could, and told him that I will bring the check in the day after. That same evening and to my surprise, I received a call that they rented the unit to another qualified applicant. Their act was totally unfair.

I did not have a problem with my property during the extent of my 1 year lease and stay in one of their buildings. However, leaving even after my lease is up has been very difficult and expensive. 30 days notice must be given on the first of the month, or you are obligated to pay rent for the entirety of the next month. Lame. I would have been confident that they could fill the place in less than that time, until they upped the rent $ 200/mo when they put the apartment back on the market. Basically, they have a lot of provisions in their rental agreements that ensure that they get a lot of money out of you when you leave. Very unfriendly, impersonal, bottom-line property management company.

Properties look decent at first look, however management company does nothing to fix problems. Had very rude and noisy neighbors and after many attempts to fix with neighbor, brought the issue to the WM and they did nothing. They lost a good and quiet tenant for sure. Also they charge way to high for rent especially for the size we rented. Since moving out I have heard of worse situations and am just glad to be out of that sitution, you know renting from a slum lord…
