Wanderlust 108 – A Mindful Triathlon

This was the first time I did a triathlon. This is not your typical triathlon but a MINDFUL one… Ommmmmm…haha!
At first I was debating whether to do this at $ 35 but when I did decide, it went up to $ 40. So it’s cheaper to register early. This is what I did in order.
— Checked in for my adhesive bib and orange bandana
— Checked in my bag and yoga mat
— had my face painted like a warrior lol!
— checked out some of the vendors and got a heart shape tattoo
— lots of portable restrooms. No lines when I went +++
— Ran 5K from the Marina green towards the Presidio and back
— checked out my bag and mat and reserved a space in front of the stage
— Did 1 ½ hour of yoga
— About 30 mins meditation
Minuses
— There were no snacks after the run. Bring your own or be hungry
— No medals for this race or certificate acknowledging your participation
— No individual photos of the race, just a few of the yogis that stood out were posted on their face book page
Overall, it was pleasant. I would register again if they improve on the above minuses. However, it was fun triathlon to do, if you never tried it. NAMASTE!!!
