Jeanette is wonderful and took such good care of our pup this past week while we weren’t home. She sent us photos of their fun outings during the day and even a cute video she put together of the pups and their playtime. As a new puppy parent I had questions regarding socialization, how much walking is too much, where to go, etc. and she answered all of my questions and was very reassuring.
She is 100% correct when she says a sleepy puppy is a happy puppy. Our little guy Ollie can be a bit resistant to going to bed — after his first day with Jeanette he went right to bed and slept the entire night without making a peep. Victory!

Jeanette is simply amazing. My pug, Buddha, and baby Bernese Mountain Dog, Yukon Jane, simply adore Jeanette and their furry adventures. While I am stuck in the office, I see the «kids» playing at the beach on romping on field with big smiles.
I have complete trust in Jeanette and the pups are happier than ever. The only downside? I think they love her more than me. I highly recommend Walks & Wags.

if we could give Jeanette a 6^th star we would. She is fantastic. We have a Ridgeback, who is very shy and reserved and she took to Jeanette right away. He had no worries while she was with Jeanette. She loves dogs and it shows. She even sent a collage of pictures.

Jeanette is one in a million. We’d been with our prior walker for two years and given work/​schedule changes, we needed to find another option for our sensitive, managerial, spoiled Frenchie.
We were impressed with Jeanette’s due diligence: she came over to meet with us before committing to take Gigi into her pack and really understood what we were trying to accomplish (more exercise, more structure). What we got was above our expectations: we have a fitter, happier, and well behaved bulldog who now has a social life!
Jeanette is reliable, professional, and always flexible to our last minute travel schedules. Additionally, we get updates if Gigi isn’t 100% her usual Frenchie self (in addition to sending us pictures and videos of the group playing). We moved to SF with our black lab and got hooked up with a great dog walker. Our lab was well exercised but she started acting up and something just wasn’t clicking… The dog walker actually recommend we switch to Jeanette! She has a great reputation in the community. Other walkers and vets adore her.
She was the absolute perfect match for our lab and for us! I refer to her as our dogs «other mom» because I know that Jeanette truly loves our dog like her own.
She is very knowledgable about the health and wellness of dogs. When our lab had a rare illness that required a month of testing, overnight care to keep fluids in her and a death sentence from 3 different vets, Jeanette did everything she could to help take care of our lab and also support us. She is a wonderful friend and we will be forever grateful for her love, support and compassion.
Our lab is healthy, happy and loving life and we have Jeanette to thank for that! Our lab has a wonderful pack of furry friends that swim, run, fetch and explore every day together. She can’t wait for Jeanette to come get her for the next adventure. Jeanette is awesome about taking photos and keeping us updated via text and email. Jeanette has experience training dogs so she takes time to work with the needs of her pack. Our lab has anxiety in the car and Jeanette is not only working with our dog, but with us to help adjust that behavior.
Jeanette cares so much for her pack and for the owners, I couldn’t be happier and more grateful that she has been taking care of our lab for over 2 years and has become a part of the family!

After nearly a year since my last review, I wanted to note we are still extremely pleased and grateful for Jen’s services. One thing I did not mention in my previous review is Jen is willing to answer medical questions you may have. I went with my lab to the vet for his annual check up and the vet told me he HAD TO extract a tooth asap. This procedure would be $ 800+ dollars. I was pretty alarmed to hear this considering the tooth was only chipped from chewing on sticks. I told Jen about this when I saw her and she said this operation was not at all urgent considering the tooth was still white and alive. She also said, she would keep a eye on it. Clearly, Jen is much more then just a dog walker!

Referred by a friend to Jeanette, so we were comfortable knowing she would do a good job. So far, nothing short of excellent. Not only has she been great about making sure our dog gets plenty of exercise, he is also way more well behaved since she has been working with him. Highly recommend Walks & Wags.

Jeanette is simply the BEST! She has been walking our very loved Golden Doodle for almost a year now. We started out with just once a week walks which were always a highlight for our pooch. He’d come home exhausted and very content. And then we adjusted the regimen up to 5 days a week as he seemed to be needing a bit more exercise/​routine than I could provide… and it was like we have a different dog! He is just the happiest guy out there and looks forward to his walks every day with massive enthusiasm.
Jeanette does not treat our pup as a job, she treats him as a best friend and I cannot imagine sending our pup along with anyone else. She is always great about sending along pictures of the day’s adventure, and keeps me posted on the schedule which is always appreciated, and if things change last minute plan-​wise she is totally understanding.
All in all I cannot say enough positive things about Jeanette — she has been a life changer!

We moved to sf from Boston about 4 months ago with our English bulldog. I was immediately anxious to find the perfect Dogwalker bc my dog is not just my pet… he’s my baby! After asking around in our building, we found Jeannette from walls and wags. Understanding the importance of finding a good match, Jeannette came over for a meet and greet to not only make sure we liked her… but Eddie did too! She assured us that she wanted to always make sure Eddie was well taken care of and, most of all, happy! Because, as she said, «dogs have feelings too. They are part of your family!»
Since then, Eddie has been on a bunch of adventures and absolutely loves them! He comes home and puts himself right to bed after all the fun
Knowing that I miss him so much while I away, Jeannette also makes sure to send me lots of pictures while they are playing so I can be assured Eddie is safe and happy! She evens posts them on Facebook too!
Since then, Jeannette has been fantastic! More recently, she helped us out of a real bad bind where my husband got stuck in) hour traffic and Eddie was left alone with no dinner or potty break. I frantically called her at close to 9pm (while she was out at dinner with friends!) and she immediately left her dinner and ran to eddies aid.
That’s why we are so glad we found walks and wags!
Jeannette understands that dog walking is not just about pee breaks and food, it’s about making sure our fur babies are happy and content while we are unfortunately away from them!

Without a doubt the best dog walking service in the city. Jen is incredibly professional and polite. My dog adores her and she is great about sending us pics everyday to make us jealous of him out on the beach while we are stuck at work. She texts us to let us know when she’s running 10 min late even when she knows we aren’t home during the day. The group sizes and rates are the best in SF and my dog is happier since he started hanging with Jen. We are lucky to have found her

Can’t say enough great things about Jen! But the one thing that really stands out and is obvious from the moment you meet her is how much she TRULY loves dogs and being around them!
Having met a few different dogwalkers in SF, they all choose to do it because they like dogs well — but the personal love and attention Jen shows her furry clients is remarkable and to me is the most important factor in choosing a dog care provider.
Having had lots of experience with lots of dogs, Jen knows how to accomodate any kind of dog personality, and for Greta my 4 y/​o Golden, who is a retriever and a lover above all else, she knows exactly how to keep her happy and comfortable.
Jen was able to accomodate us on short notice when I was headed out of town for a weekend — got in touch with Jen on Thursday and she picked Greta up on Friday. And she was super reliable and provided lots of great photos and nice little text message updates throughout the weekend. Jen will provide about as many updates as you’d like and it certainly helps you feel like you’re not in the dark about how your dog’s doing in her care.
I could tell right away just from talking with Jen that Greta would be in great hands and the photos showed clear proof of that! Greta was definitely way happier than she would have been otherwise getting on and off attention from my busy roommates over the weekend.
All in all, Jen provides a level of loving care for her dogs that’s above and beyond what I’ve experienced with others — highly recommend her for dogwalking or dogsitting when traveling!

Having moved to San Francisco, I had to turn to Unilocal for help on finding someone to walk my dog, Cody. I came across Jen and I am so happy I did. Jen is absolutely fabulous!!! It’s so obvious that she is passionate about her job. I have no doubt that Cody is in good hands when I’m not around. Sometimes I wonder if he’d pick Jen over me…

Jen’s love for animals and innate ability to work with all types of dogs is apparent from the minute you meet her. She is knowledgeable on pet behavior, their physical, and most importantly, their emotional health. She treats every pet as her own (which are her «kids»), so rest assured your pets are in excellent hands. Jen is extremely professional and informative as to your pet’s daily adventures (pictures included). If you are as I am, and expect nothing less than the best pet care, you MUST call Jen.

Let me start by saying how much my own dog means to me, and by dog I mean child. :) It was SO important to find the right person for the job. It’s like finding a nanny for your child, incredibly difficult. The moment Jen met my Bulldog Bully, I knew she had something more than just a friendly face; my dog was obsessed and couldn’t get enough of her. She is careful, thorough, punctual and ALWAYS gives me a complete run down of her time with Bully. I even get tons of photos, which I love! I have been working with her for about 4 months now and Bully and I could not be happier with her service!

Jen has been a god send since we found her. She has a wealth of knowledge about pet care and pet health, and our beagle loves her. We have just moved into the area and our beagle has been very shy with other dogs, walking with Jen and her new friends has brought her out of her shell and she no longer takes a wide birth when ever we pass another dog. She comes home from a walk exercised mentally and physically which is very important for a beagle. When she is with Jen for the full day she is content to rest on the couch all night. It’s comforting to know that when you can’t be with them, there is someone who takes care of your dog as if they were their own. Thank you very much Jen and Walk & Wags!

Thank you for all the care and love you’ve shown my border collie. Since you have been working with him, he has become the happiest and most relaxed that I have ever seen. He’s so much more social and lights up when he sees you. Prior to your care, I had a dog walker that simply threw him into a van with other dogs, took him out for 45 minutes, and dropped him off right after. He was unhappy, and unexercised. But you have changed that. He runs to the door when he sees you and responds so positively to the attention and patient, but firm handling. When he returns from a walk, he’s exhausted. You make sure he has water, and is situated before you leave. These small touches make a world of difference to me, because I know that you care for him as if he is your own. I am so grateful for that!!! I also love the photos from your outings. You have a gift with dogs, and I’m so happy you found us! Thanks a million times over!

We feel very lucky to have found Jen to take care of our terrier mix while we were out of town. She loves dogs, is very accommodating with a variety of services and is detail oriented, gathering all of the pertinent information. We knew that our pup was in good hands. She sent daily updates, with pictures, so we could see our girl in action out and about town. We’ll definitely use her services again and give her a high recommendation!
