The pieces of fish were huge and delicious.
My only complaint is the fries could have been more crisp.
Also, I was able to make two meals out of it, which is always nice.

Cheap Chinese food, but it definitely could be better.
A good place for a quick and filling meal.
Haven’t had the fish and chips though. Have to check that out.

I was waking to Golden Kim Tar, but I stopped at this place when I noticed the incredibly low prices for their food items. I ordered the Fish and Chips. The fish was pretty good. It was moist and soft, not dry and chewy. They put batter on the fish and deep fried it as soon as I ordered it. The chips looked more like french fries, as opposed to English style chips. They did give me a generous size portion of malt vinegar for my chips. For less than 6 dollars you get 2 decent size pieces of fish and fries. Overall, this is a very good deal. Recently the owner installed a counter and started to serve american style breakfasts. I have not tried the other items on the menu. I would definitely go there again for cheap Fish and Chips.

While walking home from work I decided to stop by the Emperor’s kitchen, however, I was distracted by a home printed sign which read:
GRAND
OPENING
CHINESE FOOD
$ 3.95 SPECIAL
At that price, it was definitely worth a gamble. So I went in, and saw a couple and their daughter still setting up the restaurant, an empty steamtable reflected myriad shades of the cardboard boxes above. I ordered a beef and broccoli rice plate, handed over a $ 5, and waited for my food.
I took it to go, went to my place, and I’m finishing it as I write this review.
It was alright, a great deal for the price. The broccoli was actually really fresh, the beef was okay quality, and the rice was cooked well. However, the beef and broccoli could have been much more flavorful, and it felt like the only seasoning used was soy sauce when it needed more than that. The portion was good… but too much rice, not enough of the actual dish.
I am going to stop by again and try another item, the sesame chicken might be a lot better, this review will change accordingly.
But, I highly recommend other reviewers check this place out and add their thoughts so that my two star brand of death is either balanced out or reinforced.
