I had been suffering from shoulder pain for almost a year, made worse from daily computer work. Dr. Tirtha helped me tremendously by using a combination of acupuncture, chiropractic and Chinese herbs in her treatment. She also showed me great exercises for my shoulder. I highly recommend her. If it weren’t for her, I would still be suffering — now my shoulder is almost pain free!

As a Licensed Acupuncturist and massage therapist who needs chiropractic care for chronic neck pain, finding Dr. Tirtha has been «just right.» Her Network style assessment and adjustments really allow the body to open instead of being startled and fighting back and her proficiency in healthcare as an India-​trained MD and a Chinese Medical Practitioner gives me huge comfort knowing that she is seeing the bigger picture and interested in the different facets of my health and how they affect one another. Because she can do both chiropractic care and acupuncture treatments we have been able to focus on neck pain, anxiety, and digestive issues often in the same appointment. I am so grateful to find such a well-​rounded, loving, generous, inquisitive and knowledgable practitioner to treat me on the days I’m not seeing my own patients. It has been a gift (and is the first time) that I have found a chiropractor who speaks the medical language that I do (and then some!!!) She has given me fabulous input on diet, herbs, self-​exercises and stretches, posture, lab tests, and supplements. I live my life and advise my patients according to all of these things and I can relax and receive her care and advise knowing that we share a respect for yoga, Holistic healthcare, and the methods that can bring freedom to our bodies. I have been seeing Dr Tirtha for my mid/​lower back pain for only few sessions and getting impressive results. She is more then a skillful Chiropractor, but a good teacher that taught me excises my body and a great listener to help me release my stress from work and life. I have been seeing Tirtha for my neck and shoulder pain, and am getting great results! Prior to seeing her, I had never been treated by a chiropractor. I always thought the only people who needed a chiropractor were car accident victims. Plus, hearing the words «adjustment» and «spine» in the same sentence has always made me a bit nervous. But, I was sick of the pain that I have had for years, and given Tirtha’s background in medicine (see the bio on her website), I figured I would be in a good hands — and I was right! She took the time to explain the treatment process so I would know what to expect. She does quite a bit of massage before doing any manipulations, and her technique is very gentle. During my visits, I am often so relaxed I fall asleep! And now I finally know what it feels like to NOT have neck tension – yay!
By the way, her office is near the ballpark, so traffic may be a bit jammed up during game days. Allow yourself plenty of time to get down there.
