Randall has been practicing immigration law for over 20 years.

Randall is an active member of AILA (American Immigration Lawyers Association), currently serving a 2-​year term as the AILA National Law Students Outreach Committee Chair and previously serving as a chapter president twice and serving on the AILA National Board of Governors twice.

Randall is a law professor, having taught immigration law at Golden Gate School of Law in San Francisco & having taught paralegals at U.C. Berkeley.

Randall has successfully represented 100s of couples in their marriage to U.S. Citizen green card (U.S. legal permanent residence) cases and K-​1 finance (e) visa cases.

Randall is a recognized national I-​751 petition to remove conditional residence expert, as he was the national I-​751 liaison between AILA attorneys & USCIS for 2 years.

Working with Randle, Neda and Elyse has been an absolute pleasure! After having a discouraging encounter with a previous lawyer, I was frightened to carry on with the process. I got in a little but of trouble during my juvenile years which makes my case a little more complicated when applying for DACA. I did my research after my first lawyer and decided to hire the team to work with my little sister! Her process went smoothly and she now is eligible to work in the USA! My case is still on the line but I am so grateful for this amazing team! They have been nothing but supportive, compassionate and outstanding!

I thought of writing this review because I understand the agony of going through seeking for a good lawyer whom you can be very happy and very satisfied with.
My whole process of getting my immigration status changed started this year. I went to meet 3 other lawyers before finally deciding to go with Randall. Some of these lawyers are also being recommended by «good intention» personal friends but I have figured long time ago that good intention alone is not a good way to evaluate stuffs.
Anyway, I would say right from the start, I was was put at ease by Randall. My first meeting with him is to only gauge whether he is the right fit. During this initial face to face contact, he did not give any indication at all of a lawyer who is interested in the monetary aspect. He answered every single questions patiently and with great empathy. I eventually decided to go for Randall on my case.
I have very good pleasant experience with his staffs too like Larissa, Elyse and Adela. They were very helpful and would always respond to my questions immediately and plus they are very competent too. They certainly sound like a clone of Randall.
Randall has prepared me very well for my UCIS interview too. He prepared a checklist for me and we had an hour meeting a few days before the interview. In the mean time, Randall himself is well prepared and detailed, he knows which officer would use use a red pen, which officer would ask certain type of questions etc. Bottom line is that he knows enough of the of the staff at UCIS because he goes there very frequently.
The whole interview went very smooth and… I have my green card now!
Overall, me and my wife went to Randall’s office as a customer but we walked out knowing that he is someone who really cares more for us as a couple.

My husband and I came to see Randall in December 2014. We decided to stay in the US and he gave us all the right information and most of all confidence that what we were doing was fine and we would be fine. We just got our Greencard in the mail, almost exactly in the time they assured us it would arrive.
Obviously you as the client must do the part of gathering your documents; but their organization, expertise, reputation, and presence in the interview made it all worth the decent price you pay.

I only joined Unilocal to give this review. If I could I would give Randall and his staff a million stars. They are all very knowledgable and make you feel really confident and comfortable with the whole process.
From the initial consultation to the final moment at the interview Randall told us how long it was going to take and he was on point. He is very honest, knows all the ins and outs of immigration and is a very friendly and approachable person.
Immigration is extremely serious and both my husband and I met with several attorneys and did not feel comfortable. Randall makes you feel at ease. He is the best and I would recommend him to anyone.
Look no further, if you have an immigration issue Randall and his staff are the best!!!

When my husband and I decided to get married last September, the thing we dreaded the most is the immigration process which we heard was like a highway to hell. Every time we hear immigration stories, our hopes are going down. At first we were reluctant to hire a lawyer cuz it’s expensive but I can say that we’re glad we did cuz it’s worth every penny. We started off with a free consultation, signed papers, paid the flat rate fee, and started the immigration process. I can’t say that it went smoothly because as most people might not know, when you’re in the middle of processing your papers, the immigration won’t let you leave US without an advance parole. My mom got sick, I needed to leave US, this is barely a week after sending our papers to the immigration meaning they might not even have reviewed the papers yet. Fast forward, Randall, who knows the system and the people inside the immigration very well, was able to help me expedite my advance parole (which i swear to God is so hard to get if the immigration officer wants to be an a**€£#e). On that day alone, the moment I realized that I can be with my mom because of Randall, I knew we made the right choice to have him represent us.
We submitted our papers last week of November and an interview was set last week of March and then got my green card a week later. There was a little delay on the timeline but we were given a heads up because of the Holidays.
Randall is very professional, very polite. He always tells me not to worry, everything will be fine and boy was he right each and every time.
The immigration process is like visiting an unfamiliar place. You can take the train (cheaper) and find it on your own, you can get lost, waste your time looking for that place. Or you can hire a cab, pay a little bit more, but you can sit back and relax and the cab driver will take you exactly where you wanna go.
I highly recommend Randall and his team, they saved us from tons of paperworks and headaches. It was a pleasure working with him.

This review is not as a former client but as a student who interviewed Mr. Caudle for a research paper about the H-​1B visa. Mr. Caudle was extraordinarily friendly and knowledgeable, and it was clear with my interaction with him that he is remarkably passionate about helping people with their immigration status. Though I do not need immigration legal services at the moment, I would highly recommend Mr. Caudle to anyone looking for an ace in the hole.

We worked with this law firm for a US citizenship process. The process was completed successfully a few months ago.
The initial consultation was with Randall, and when we decided to make use of their services, we were assigned Neda Vrazalic.
Things I liked —
— their office gives off a no-​pretense, Silicon Valley startup vibe. No stuffy lawyer offices with marble and glass, no stuffy and pretentious lawyers. Love it.
— Their rates are decent — I called several law firms both in SF and on the Peninsula. They were just a big higher than average, lower than many of the big-​name firms
— Very good follow-​up. Whether by email or by phone, they responded promptly within 12 – 24 hours. The US Citizenship process can go smoothly, or it can have bumps. Bumps require rapid responses within a couple weeks and can make things stressful for the applicant. So it is good to have a responsive lawyer on your side
— They do seem to be very familiar with the SF interview process and the interviewers. Neda accompanied the applicant to the interview, which was a huge relief.
— They do help with post-​interview USCIS asks, if any.
A few things that were less than great —
— Had expected to work with Randall after the initial consultation but he was busy and we were asked to work with Neda. She is great, but I wish the expectation had been set up front that we could be asked to work with other firm lawyers. We had gone here based on Unilocal reviews for Randall, not the firm. So perhaps clarify before you sign up.
— Lawyers other than Randall are less experienced in immigration and US citizenship law (though they seem to work with him as needed on cases)
— the USCIS asked for a couple of follow-​ups in our case. For most of them, I had to do a lot of work to get the paperwork ready. While Neda and team advised on type of information that should be included in the response, wrapped it up and polished before sending to the USCIS, they only worked with close-​to-​final responses that I had created, rather than ask for information that they would then use to respond directly. Not sure if this is the usual, but I had expected them to take on more responsibility and actual work for responding to USCIS requests, considering what we paid. So be ready to spend more time on things or clarify up front what they will do and what they need you to do.
Overall this was a good experience and I will recommend them (with above caveats) to friends.

About 6 months ago, just before my wife and I got married, I called around a number of immigration attorney’s in San Francisco to get an idea of what we would need to do in order to obtain a green card for me (UK citizen) as spouse of a US citizen. I spoke to a number of people that day, most of whom wanted me to believe that the green card application process was going to be a nightmare. Then I spoke to Randall’s office and my mind was instantly put to rest. I was given about 20 minutes on the phone with a member of Randall’s staff who answered all the questions I had and eventually agreed to come in for a free of charge consultation. After the free consultation, we decided we would take Randall on to represent us.
Randall took us through the whole process step-​by-​step and gave us all the support we needed all the way through. He checked over all our forms with us before submission, gave us advice on where to get the medical done, gave us a list of items to prepare for the interview and we had an interview preparation session with him. Finally, he came with us to the interview, and we’ve been approved this week for a green card!
I can’t sign Randall’s praises enough. It’s been a pleasure working with him and his team and we will be very happy to recommend him to any friends or family that may need an immigration attorney in the future.

Randall was great. He and his also-​great team took care of everything for my wife’s green card application, and he also accompanied us to our interview to make sure everything ran as smoothly as possible.
I could go into great detail, but I’ll be brief to keep this digestable.
Randall was very polite and fun to interact with. He clearly explained the application and interview process and what we would need to prepare for the interview.
The interview is fairly subjective (that is, it depends on which officer you get). Randall knows all of them and their quirks. If the officer does their homework, they should review your application pack (Old pictures, letters, proof of a real relationship — prepared by Randall’s team, with your help) before you arrive for your interview, and in a way, they will have already made up their mind about your pass/​fail.
You show up to your interview, prepared for battle with your relationship memorabilia in hand.
Our interview was so uneventful and smooth, that my wife was a little disappointed she didn’t get to whip out her muscle (proof of a valid relationship).
What I mean to say is that Randall and team did so well, that the officer just said «welcome».

We researched and interviewed a few lawyers to assist with our green card application. Randall seemed to be the most experienced lawyer out of the bunch. Not to mention, he made us feel the most comfortable.
During our first meeting, he explained what we could expect throughout the process and even laid out a tentative timeline, which was pretty spot on. He and his team were very responsive and always available to answer questions, which was appreciated. Before the interview, he gave us a checklist of everything we would need to feel prepared; the checklists they provide are very helpful. On the day of the interview, Randall met us at a coffee shop and accompanied us to the interview. That type of personal service is awesome! He has great rapport with the officers and staff at the immigration office, so you know you are in good hands. Having him there, with his tidbits of knowledge and experience was invaluable. We had our interview on Wednesday, and checked our status on the USCIS site today to find that we were approved! I have not doubt that it was due to the preparation and help we had from Randall and his team. If you want knowledgeable, and helpful counsel — you won’t go wrong with him!

I received my Green Card on June 14. From the date when We mailed out our application to the date when I received it, it was exactly three months, just as Randall and his team promised! Although mine is a pretty straight-​forward case, there were still something that we were concerned about, such as I 864. They always let me know what was going on, what would possibly happen, and when I could expect certain notice from USCIS, etc. What was even more amazing was that, Randall knows the officers in SF USCIS office quite well and he let us know who are usually nice and who will make you sweat. They handled everything very well and never left me in dark. The transparency and professionality that I experienced with the team was incredible. The whole process was not only painless, but pleasant.
I would highly recommend Randall Caudle to handle your immigration cases. I was trying to DIY by reading through the instruction, advice, and cases shared by others in several online forums, only to find myself in panic. Filling in the forms is easy, but you never know the documents that you have are sufficient enough or not. To avoid chaos, you’d better find the right person at the first place, especially when you have to deal with immigration.
Anyway, they are truly the best!

Randall and his team helped me arrange for my green card here in the US. I found Randall through a recommendation from a colleague of mine from grad school.
From the first interaction with him and his team, I always had the sense of being very well taken care of. Randall made sure he explained me the advantages and disadvantages of all my options and had the patience to hear me out and address all my concerns. He even went out of his schedule and spoke with us twice at a time that his office would be closed for our convenience.
The whole process took exactly the amount of time he had mentioned it would take, and in every part of the process I felt safe and comfortable that everything was gonna work because Randall clearly knows what he’s doing.
He also seem to have a great professional relationship with the immigration officers in the SF office where we did our process which made me feel a bit more relaxed during the day of the interview!
In summary, I highly recommend Randall and his team to help you with your immigration case!

The worst experience I’ve ever had with a professional in the USA.
First of all, when I showed up to his office, his assistant told me he was not in the office (he was right in front of me). After telling her I wanted to talk with Randall about an investor visa (E2), he said «Hey, I’m Randall!» (ridiculous!)
After waiting for 35 minutes, the first think he did, before telling a word, was to ask for my passport and take a copy. Then he started to ask a bunch of stupid personal questions like what I had in my trolley, where I had slept that night… (unbelievable), and then, finally, he asked me some questions about my business.
But the worst part came when, after 20 minutes of that uncomfortable meeting, he told me… -«OK, I do not handle investor visas, but I can recommend you someone else! «-
I could not believe it! The first thing I told him was, «I’m here because I’m applying for an E2» and after 1hour wasting my time there he tells me he does not work with this kind of visas?
Finally, to culminate this terrible encounter, I ask him to return me my passport and the copy he had made, and he says: «No! I’ll keep the copy of your passport because I need to have a track of my clients?» At that point I got really mad at him and he finally return me the copy, rudely.
After that, I visited some other lawyer firms and all of them were the professional you can expect when visiting a lawyer. I finally worked with Baker&McKenzey and got my E2.

Randall and his team were extremely capable and positively wonderful to work with! We would highly recommend him to anyone who needs an immigration attorney.
Since Randall was billing us a flat fee for his services, I thought he would be eager to keep our meetings short and minimize the amount of time he had to spend with us. This couldn’t be further from the truth. On the contrary, Randall was always extremely patient when listening to and addressing all our questions (and believe me, there was a long list!). Even when we emailed additional questions, either Randall or someone on his team (sometime both) would reply to us with the information requested in a very timely manner.
From our interactions, it was clear that Randall is not only very knowledgeable about the immigration process, but he also knows and has good professional relationships with almost all the immigration officers in the SF office from having been practicing immigration law for many years. Dealing with the USCIS can be a very stressful /​daunting situation, but Randall always put us at ease with his calm demeanor, friendly smile, and deep expertise. We felt very well taken care of throughout the entire process by Randall and his team. We were very happy with our choice; hopefully you will be too!

Dear Readers:
I’m a working professional in San Francisco. I met my wife while living & working abroad in Europe. I had consulted another attorney to help us with my wife’s situation and what should have likely been a simple situation was turned into a very difficult one. Both of us were very despondent with the expected course of events and were having communications issues with our attorney.

IT WAS LIKE NIGHT AND DAY.

So Randall came across my review and contacted my husband right afterward. He apologized for the misunderstanding about the i-​751 filing fees and offered to assist us with that free of charge. How awesome is that? I’ve said it before but I shall repeat myself anyway: when business owners pay attention to their clients’ feedback — whether negative OR positive — and take the time to respond, it really makes them stand out above the crowd and shows that they actually care about providing quality services.
