this place sucks!!! I ordered tickets for Dia de los muerte for hollywood forever cemetery and we never got in… they claimed there were already full and Hollywood forever is a huge cemetery… they said we would have to wait at least an hour so people would leave and we could get in… it never happened. I called Ticketfly that day, I called Hollywood Forever that day… well the tickets were 40.00 for four people and the service fee was 7.80. Basically they oversold and now I have to pay for it. Not right, nor fair… Ticketfly didn’t even try and help. So please at least boycott them for a little while, there are so many other places to buy tickets for events.

These guys run the worst ticketing company in the entire US. Read the reviews, they make mistakes and expect you to resolve them. Trying to fix someone else’s mistake is like trying to eat a pizza that’s in another state. AVOID TICKETFLY.

A little love would be nice… for a fee!
I just bought tix to a show at the Red Devil Lounge, tickets were $ 25 fee $ 5.25 EACH. On the confirmation there was no address for the venue, as a simple matter of course I sent a message to customer service «suggesting» that they maybe go the extra step and add the address for whatever venue you may have purchased a ticket for. The response was to tell me to go to google and look it up! Gee thanks, I never would have thought of that, god forbid you the customer service provider actually make the experience a complete unadulterated pleasure, my bad!

DO NOT AND I REPEAT DO NOT EVERRRR PURCHASE TICKETS THROUGH THEM.
First of all, in order to get a representative on the line, it takes 15+ minutes.
Secondly, they will not under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES reimburse you for tickets OR give you a credit REGARDLESS OF MEDICAL EMERGENCIES or any extenuating circumstances. It’s absolutely ridiculous.
It’ll only be a matter of time before they go under…
no small business could operate in the manner in which they do without facing consequences of lost customers.

If I could give it no stars I would. A one star rating is overratting it. Be careful when purchasing tickets through ticketfly. This company is a scam and has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I made a purchase and never received the tickets only to find they charged my credit card. When I contacted via email they refused to help. They send me the tickets to the event that had passed already. When I asked what I was supposed to do with them now that the event had passed, their response was, what do you want us to do? I told then I would like a refund. They told me they have a strict no refund policy. When I wasn’t getting anywhere with Daniel via email, I called and spoke to a woman, Elaine, that was extremely rude. Not only had she not received any customer service training but she apparently didn’t have any home training either because she was rude and obnoxious. She didn’t let me get a word in and told me that it was my problem I did not receive the email and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to a supervisor. I had to file a claim with my credit card. My credit card company reversed the charges and opened an investigation. Let Ticketfly answer to them now, they have 30 days to do so. Avoid this scam at all costs!!!

I learned of a Girlyman concert through Songkick whose site linked me to Ticketfly to buy the tickets. All was fine until I checked the website of the venue and Girlyman was not playing that night! I called Ticketfly and waited 15 minutes for a human to answer. Very noisey in the backround and hard to hear the rep. They could not take the two seconds it took me to check the website themselves to verify there was no concert. They said they would call me back. I called back an hour later (waiting 10 min before someone picked up). They said the venue had not contacted them yet. I also got a poor attitude from this second rep. Finally, 5 hours after I called, they called to say they would give me a refund.
Who would sell tickets to a concert that does not exist? Plus, have such poor customer service?

I ordered tickets for Baby Loves Disco and when I printed them, found that they had doubled my order. I called them on Sunday morning, the day of the event and was helped by Dakin. He resolved the situation before I had to leave, refunding me for the overage. I really appreciated him resolving the situation, complete with callback and email confirmation. Well done Dakin and Ticketfly.

I just got contacted by Ticketfly:
«Sorry you had a bad experience. I’m checking out your orders and as is usually true, there was no extra charge for Will Call. It’s free. The fees that you paid were our standard service fees. So that we can keep lights on, print tickets, staff folks like me, etc. :-)
However, our fees are pretty consistently lower than our competitors. Here is an example of an event on Ticketmaster with $ 25 tickets. The fees are $ 11 per ticket. Nuts!
Looks like your $ 25 Kid Koala tickets had a service fee of $ 5.13 each. And with that $ 5 from us, you get great support if you ever needed it, a better purchase experience, and the ability to share all these shows with your friends easily! We like to think we’re worth it. But if you dont, we totally understand! You are always welcome to buy directly at the venue. Unfortunately buying tickets online will always mean a service fee because we’d like to stay in business and get even better at our jobs, as well as help our awesome local venues make money and keep booking great acts.»
Ok: what they indicated as «handling fee» is a standard service fee. That does not change the fact that it’s a 20+% fee, and the tickets are will-​call. The fact that the exorbitant fee is still less than the extortion Ticketbastards charge for a similar show justifies a 2-​star rating instead of 1 star.
I stand by what I said before: buy your tickets at the venue. There was no «better purchase experience».

Ticketfly is another good way to get tickets to independent club shows without getting shaken down fee-​wise by Ticketmaster. Being a fan of underground metal, Ticketfly, like Ticketweb, has helped deliver me unto the sonic majesty of such bands as Nevermore, Soilwork, and Overkill in 2010 with only minimal fees incurred. This is a nightmare company that is unfortunately the new ticket service for Bimbo’s. Bimbo’s is an amazing, wonderful venue but ticketfly might bring the end of them. If you buy will call tickets be prepared to wait at least an hour (or longer) in line. Unfortunately ticketfly refuses to address the problem. The poor bouncers at Bimbo’s are at their wits end!
