The UPS Store

These folks have one thing to do — get your package (in this case an envelope) out. Somehow they neglected to do that, and a package that was dropped on Friday morning for a Saturday delivery was not picked up. When they realized the mistake, they sent it out, but for Monday delivery. No effort was made to contact anyone and tell them about the snafu. Had they made such an effort they would have learned that the recipient was not going to be at the delivery address on Monday. We learned this when the package didn’t show up on Saturday or Sunday and called. When we explained, they agreed to have it redirected. But it was delivered on Monday to the original delivery address anyway! Now they claim they will pick it up and have it delivered to the recipient at his current location on Tuesday. Problem with that is that the package will no longer be useful because the meeting for which it is needed will have already occurred by the time it arrives. $ 62 for a package that is useless, with no remorse, no sense of trying to do right by the customer, no reimbursement, no refund, no sorry. Nothing. Just platitudes and excuses. They had several chances to do this right and were utterly terrible.

Someone was way ahead of me in the commentary. Mr. Patel is the most personal of all their employees. I had a private box there for many years. He remembers you name and box number. He’s very conversational, I think he was an engineer if I heard right. Believe it, most engineers I office supported are too impressed with own educated skunk.

I was just charged $ 21.08 to send a USPS Medium Flat Rate Box, which only costs $ 12.35. When I asked why he charged me nearly double, he explained that it’s just ‘part of their markup.” I will save myself the trouble and print my own label next time!
They are called flat rate boxes for a very obvious reason.

Avoid this location! They tried to charge me $ 2 for printing out a ups return label, and told me they don’t have printing service for me to print it myself. I have reported them to UPS cooperate for their policy violation. It sounds like this is not the only time. Dishonest owner.

I have given up on ALL UPS stores.
Seriously, people should have to go through customer service and at least, general education classes prior to opening up a business. Yup. I went there.
How can a UPS store not accept debit cards under $ 10? I’m only sending out a letter through certified mail and making a single copy. I offer a $ 100 bill which I already knew he wouldn’t accept after the debit card stunt. And then the guy had the nerve to say, «We are a small business.»
I’m sorry. Doesn’t UPS have hundreds, if not, thousands of stores across the U.S. How does that qualify as a small business? Yes, they may be privately owned. Using UPS to name your business doesn’t signify making up your own rules. If you can’t be uniform across the board, then name yourself a different name. Shoot, then the post office should shut down debit card usage also. Heck, FedEx should make it illegal to use plastic.
I will never support another UPS store again. 2 strikes…2 different stores.

With companies as large as UPS you can often feel like a number to them. With this UPS store you will always be treated with superior customer service and can trust them to care for all of your needs. Mr Patel and his team are extremely helpful and support our unique requests. We trust them with our business and our personal shipping needs.

It’s tucked away in Opera Plaza but it’s there. UPS stuff, USPS services, and a nice little spot along the way to sip tea and read a book.

Awesome place. Very friendly. Personal hands on assistance packaging boxes and will ship anything. They even come pick up your stuff for you. Will definitely be returning.
