My daughters, ages 12 and 10, signed up for Core Drawing camp at Sketch Collective this summer and they absolutely loved it. The instructors are just great with the kids, and the girls came away with real, meaningful drawing skills! The room is tidy, organized and lovely, the group was nice and small, and the materials are first rate. The excursions they went on with the camp were wonderful and quite relevant to their artistic development. My girls truly enjoyed their week at Sketch Collective and we would sign up again!

The Sketch Collective is a fantastic place! My two kids shared a session of private drawing lessons and learned so much in just a few weeks. I was absolutely blown away by what they accomplished. And more importantly, my kids loved the classes. After the session was over, I received a very thoughtful and informative letter discussing what would be good next steps for each child. We just had a wonderful experience at the Sketch Collective and will definitely be taking more classes and camps in the future.

The Sketch Collective is absolutely incredible — fantastic teachers for kids (and adults) and what a wonderful environment — so much is taught about art history and contemporary art and about how children can become artists themselves. Our kids have taken many classes here over the years and have learned incredibly and had brilliant times there, meeting many new friends. OVERALL, this place is just SUPER high quality — we have been thrilled.

My son has enjoyed many fantastic art classes at The Sketch Collective. He always comes out happy and excited about what he has learned. The instructors are talented, patient and know exactly how to keep kids engaged. I was very impressed with both the quality of instruction and the quality of materials used. The kids are doing the drawing with high end legit art supplies. Highly recommend!

We have three children and they all enjoyed the classes. The 10 year old loved the individual attention since classes are small. Our more active 8 years olds were engaged which is not easy chore and felt like she tailored the two different classes to the participants which worked. The instructors are very talented and know how to teach.

My son and daughter took classes here and just loved it! They especially loved the warm and inclusive atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this studio to anyone looking for a class that provides substance without sacrificing a fun and caring environment.

We love the Sketch Collective! Blue (the leader) loves her students and she truly enjoys teaching. All the teachers at Sketch Collective have art degrees and are working artists. They know how to make my 7 yr old daughter laugh and inspire her to create images with the all the tools provided. My daughter learns lots of fundamentals like recognizing her drawing tools and the basics of drawing. She always looks forward to her classes at the Sketch Collective.

My daughters have taken a wide range of art classes at Sketch Collective from drawing to photography. The team is very talented but also tailor the classes to each participant’s interest. My girls have learned so much as a result and have developed a love and interest in a variety of art forms.

My 8 year old daughter has taken numerous workshops here and has loved all of them! Blue is fantastic with the kids and I love the workshops she offers. Jaime, one of the art teachers, is a star, an incredible painter and man am he teach! He is kind and patient and my daughter adores him. He led my daughter on a photo workshop through a neighborhood and taught her how about texture and color and the photos and the book she created from them was incredible. The Sketch Collective is a gem in the city for art instruction. I’m an artist myself and would not send my daughter anywhere else because I’ve found this to be THE place that nurtures her creativity and helps her improve.
