Kids on Camera established in 1981, is an award winning TV/Film acting and audition training for ages 4 – 18 in San Francisco, Marin, and the East Bay. We improve communication skills and build confidence. We empower children and make learning fun! Video feedback reinforces the student’s self-image.
Shy youngsters open up; Gifted children find an outlet for their creative energy! Parents participate to share in their child’s progress.
Weekend series, one-day workshops are offered year round. Summer weeklong day camps are featured throughout the Bay Area. Talent showcases are provided for those seeking talent agents. We trained the voice of Andy in Toy Story, Bridgit Mendler who is Teddy on Disney’s Good Luck Charlie, voiceovers for Leapfrog Toys, an emmy winner and actors on Nickelodeon
History
Established in 1981.
Kids on Camera received the Santa Clara County Psychological Association Award for our «Significant Contribution to Mental Health» in recognition of our «Dedication to the Well Being of Children» in 1989. We enroll over 800 kids per year. We have been featured on TV on KGO, KRON, and KPIX. KGO reporter, Michael Finney, featured us in 1998 and said we were the right place to go as we are honest and have a skilled staff. We have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Judy B.
Business Owner
Director and founder of Kids on Camera since 1981, Judy is a credentialed teacher in Theatre Arts/Communications, a professional voiceover, vocalist, and casting director. With a B.A. from Michigan State U, and graduate work in film at SF State U, Judy has taught for over 30 years in Chicago, Detroit, Marin, San Francisco, and Canada. KGO TV consumer reporter, Michael Finney, featured Kids on Camera in 1989 and spoke of Judy’s high quality program when he said: Kids on Camera was the right place to go. Judy was acasting director for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Films for 7 yrs. Her other casting credits include Disney and Nickelodeon. Judy was a voiceover on Sesame Street for 12 years and is a member of the professional performing unions: SAG/AFTRA. Judy has taught children with learning differences (eg: dyslexia), at the Developmental Resource Ctr, in Florida and the Charles Armstrong School, in Belmont, CA.
