Quincy has handled the photography for my annual Hudson River Barn Dance. Her photos are top-​notch but what always impresses me is her ability to manage the guests; tactfully knowing when to let the vibes roll and when to insert herself to ensure great pics. I recommended Quincy for a close friends wedding and she absolutely crushed what was not an easy shoot (it was in a public park). She had an adaptability about her that allowed her to keep everyone calm (especially the bride and groom) while at the same time fiercely fighting off the general public. She will make your special day that much easier!

I met Quincey just a few weeks before my wedding. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that we would just go with a stationary camera+tripod «solution» since we couldn’t find a videographer that met our needs and fit our budget. Then Quincey came along! We consider hiring her one of our best decisions. She was quick, detailed and direct in her communication preceding the wedding, and then showed up on the wedding day without any hiccups, and without needing a bunch of directions. She was sure to ask any questions of the wedding planner instead of distract me from festivities.
Quincey added to the celebratory nature of the day by beaming everywhere she went, and being a joyful presence in the wedding hall. It was so fun to sit down after the dust had settled and watch the day unfold. Oh! One last thing: I was really impressed that on her own initiative, she went above and beyond by gathering together guests and having them leave little video messages for us. So fun! Book her and be glad you did! ;)

Quincy was such a pleasure to work on my wedding day! we spoke a few times prior to the wedding weekend, so that we could get on the same page with how i wanted things to go on the day of the wedding. Quincy came to NY from CA, which was awesome in itself, and worked with us for the rehearsal dinner and a very long day on the day of the wedding. Quincy was super fun to work with, but also calming and professional at the same time. We’ve only seen a few teasers of the professional shots so far since our wedding was last week, but they are INCREDIBLE!

Quincy takes excellent photos. Period. I’ve worked with her on multiple events and shoots, and in both situations she excels at capturing people at their best. Quincy did our videography for our Save the Date video and she was a rockstar. She was very easy going, friendly and helped us ease into being filmed since we are not used to being on camera. She knew what she was doing and was able to listen to what we wanted, but at the same time give direction and provide some creative suggestions in order to get the best footage possible. She was funny and lighthearted which made the whole time spent with Quincy fly by! We couldn’t believe how fast the whole shoot seemed to go even though we spent over 4 hours with her. I highly recommend Quincy to be your videographer. :) We know just who to call if we ever need more footage. Since we are working with another company who contracts out freelancers we aren’t sure if she will be our videographer on the day of our wedding — but if she was we would love to have her back!

I couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos. When I told Quincy that we wanted an unobtrusive photographer who could blend in with the party and capture people (including us) just enjoying themselves at our big family farm, she immediately got it. This was really important to me as, a few years back, I was bummed to fly across the world to a friend’s wedding where every time I began to talk to someone in the bridal party or family they were whisked away by a demanding photographer. It was as if the photographer ran that wedding.
Quincy, on the other hand, has a real knack for moving with the crowd. She gave us the most beautiful candids and semi-​structured shots, and did a great job with capturing the scenery and décor that we worked so hard to pull together. She also convinced me that I might value at least a few photos with different sides of the family arrayed together. Though I was skeptical at first, these made really great presents last year, and I’m happy she suggested it.
