Wouldn’t let me in cause he was on a long distance phone call… What a bad way to run a business.

First off, this place reminds me of a classic mom n pop shop in Nashville… Small, cozy, and filled with tons of vintage/new guitars and stringed instruments. I’ve been in the hunt for a vintage guitar for a while and this store has it all. Smaller bodied gibsons, unknown brand-solid wood dreadnoughts(one in particular sounds amazing!), vinyls/cds, rare vintage arch tops and so many other instruments. They also sell new guitars as well(Taylors, Martins, etc.). Now the only thing is that it’s a bit hard to find(tucked in between a café and old building) and the website doesn’t show all it has to offer but then again, that just gives me more surprises in the end. Honestly, this place is one of San Francisco’s best kept secrets in the world of vintage guitars and I hope it stays that way! They also offer music lessons for piano & guitar which is pretty cool if you’re in the market to hone your musical chops. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Was walking down South Van Ness. Saw a small flyer in the window. The door was open. I had been looking for a small Martin. Tried this amazing guitar, 0017. A few dings but it played like a dream. The store is a bit messy but this guy knows his guitars. Tell him what you want and he digs through his inventory and finds great stuff.
