History

Established in 2015.

The Dorian is an ode to a bygone era, a modern day parlor for the bohemians, libertines and freethinkers amongst us. A place to savor classic American fare, fine whiskey and craft martinis amid a turn-of-the-century victorian manor. Its the kind of place where Oscar Wilde might’ve dropped in a for a drink or Jerry Thomas would have tended the bar. The Dorian is the quintessential destination to enjoy good times for good time’s sake.

Meet the Business Owner

Captain Jack H.

Business Owner

Captain Jack «Stabbin» Herr has left the high seas for the glistening shores of San Francisco. Arriving in California with a ship full of plunder and an affinity for dangerous endeavors, the Captain turned his keen eye to the corner of Chestnut and Fillmore. Spotting a treasure fairer than the finest mermaid, the Captain seized the opportunity with his typical swashbuckling bravado and opened, «The Dorian.»
