I’ve been going to The Beauty Network and Shlomit has been kindly looking after my skin for a few years now. I’m embarrassed to say it has taken me this long to write a review. I’ve seen my fair share of estheticians and even have a license myself but don’t practice. Shlomit is one of if not the BEST ever. My skin was so sad and dehydrated when I walked in the door and she has restored it. In fact, I had a facial yesterday and when I looked in the mirror this morning, my skin looked so amazing that I thought I was dreaming.
What I love about Shlomit and the Beauty Network:
1) Shlomit carefully examines your skin and designs a treatment for you. It could be a different treatment each time or the same –it depends on what your skin tells her.
2) Shlomit stays up to date on the latest techniques but does not buy into fads. So in other words, she has quite an arsenal of TARGETED treatments in her wheelhouse to make your skin happy and sing. One treatment she has –the Silk Peel (it’s an infusion of hydration) would cost you twice as much at a dermatologist.
3) Shlomit is also great at waxing. I’m very particular about my brows and she gets them right every time — and she takes her time. Leyla has also done my waxing and I was very pleased with the service as well. It is great to have all of this in one place. I used to go to 4 different shops — one for brows, one for facials, one for other waxing and one for product.
4) Shlomit does the research for me! She is always researching, reading and attending seminars to stay current on the latest products and ingredients. When you walk in, you will notice they carry a lot of products. Shlomit knows what is in every single product! I’ve never asked for a product that she didn’t have or have something better — whether it is for the face and body. She does recommend products for her clients — this may annoy some people– but don’t let it. Just buy it and throw out whatever you’ve been subjecting your face to. I’ve never regretted buying any product from her because they work! I’ve only regretted not buying things the first time she suggested it. I realize I’m just one opinion but my mom, mother in law and best friend –which does not even live in Cali are all now using her products.
5) everyone in the shop is very warm, friendly and there to help you, the customer. The Beauty Network is definitely the place to go if you want to see results – not a frilly spa that charges you twice as much for minimal results.
My advice is that no matter what your skin ailment is or where you live, go see Shlomit. She will fix you up – even if it is just to tell you to drink more water.

I have been looking for a great skin care professional for a long time. I have found an amazing one! I am so thankful to Shlomit for giving her time and attention to my skin care needs — which I have been trying to fulfill since teenage years, little did I know that the crucial education and knowledge was missing in my regimen and understanding of caring for my skin, until now! Shlomit made sure to give me plenty of time (well beyond the hour we were scheduled for) on my first appointment with her to ask all my questions and clear up my misunderstandings about skin care! Moreover, I love that she promotes natural, organic, non-​invasive products and ingredients in the skin care/​make up lines she uses! You will not be disappointed!

Shlomit is awesome. She was spot on what products I should use has done wonders for my hyperpigmentation and dehydrated skin. I recommend a silk peel for everyone.

Have been coming to The Beauty Network for a few years now, and I know that should I ever move from the area, I will be making my trips back to the Richmond District to see Shlomit and Lila (spelling?) for my facials, peels, waxing, beauty supplies and skincare products. This business is built in equal parts on professionalism and passion. A frequent traveler, know that my always-​on-​the-​plane skin will receive just the right treatment, and the products that I will pick up are exactly what I need. Love this business!

I have come here many times to buy beauty products, and also for waxing, and ear piercing. The staff here is always friendly, and knowledgeable. You can special order products here. Great neighborhood place to go to for all your beauty needs.

I have encountered Shlomit’s clinic 2 years ago by accident. I fist came there only for a wax, but was pleasantly surprised at how much Shlomit knows about the skin. I now only go to her for waxing and skincare. First of all, she uses an amazing wax, which – believe it or not – is as painless as a wax can be. Nothing like the waxes they have at regular salons where your skin is red and inflamed for the next two days. No, there is practically any redness. Not only that, but the results after this wax last for weeks!!! (if not months).
After having tried the wax I asked if there was anything I could do for my sensitive skin that broke out like mushrooms after a rainstorm every month. I have tried many different products, including pro-​Active, and none of them worked. After learning about my skin type and tendencies Shlomit recommended a few of products to start with. I began using them and each month my skin got better and better. My coworkers began commenting on my significant improvement. It may sound too good to be true, but for me it is! I never thought I’d get to the point where IF I get a breakout I can count on one hand and they rarely occur now. Aside from the products, Shlomit has her own unique skin treatments, which I must say are quite affordable.
Seeing the results Shlomit helped me acheive several of my coworkers and my mother have now become pleasantly hooked on Shlomit! My mother who was even considereing getting cosmetic procedures, such as botox, changed her mind instantly after her first treatment with Shlomit, as her skin became alive and gorgeous. After several treatments her fine lines and wrinkles have diminished significantly and her skin looks younger! If you want better, healthier skin this is for you!

Went to Shlomit for waxing services and couldn’t have been more pleased. I refuse to get waxing done in the converted utility closet of some nail salon, so I was looking for a real, licensed esthetician. Not only is Shlomit a consummate professional, she did a great job, at a reasonable price. The space was very clean, well kept and pleasant, and she herself is a delight to chat with. A gem, I’ll be going to her from now on!

I’ve never used skin or hair care services here, but having lived in the neighborhood for a decade, I have visited the store many times to pick up beauty supplies. The owners are friendly and outspoken — they speak up to give advice and many times have talked me OUT of buying things that wouldn’t have worked for my skin or hair types. The prices are higher than what you’d see at a chain store, but I don’t mind paying a little more for the personal touch as well as the convenience of finding supplies in my neighborhood.

I received a haircut from Frances Castellon a few weeks ago and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Hands down this is the best hair cut I’ve ever had. I have curly, frizzy, thick hair and Frances did such a perfect job of working with my curls. The best part is that this haircut requires no styling. I simply put on a little curl product after a shower and once it’s air-​dried it’s good to go. Thank you Frances!

Shlomit the miracle worker… I never had a problem with acne till about 2 yrs ago when I had the brainy idea to get laser hair removal on my entire face. My face looked great till the hair got trapped under my skin and caused severe acne. Using countless products and spending a fortune with no results. I was telling a co– worker about my woes and she said if anyone can help you its Shlomit. I was really skeptical I was so beyond exhausted and frustrated with dealing with my acne, I said hell whats the worst that can happen … Well that was the end of October 2011 when I first met with Shlomit. She said lets give it 3 months making no promises. Well, I did and my face is pimple almost FREE!!! I am 31, to deal with such sever acne is really debilitating but, now wow im back to my confident self and its all thanks to Shlomit. Thank You Shlomit You are amazing and I look forward to our appointments!!!

Until finding Shlomit, I’d accepted the fact that I’d never have clear skin. It didn’t seem to be in the cards for me. My skin is sensitive, scars easily, and is prone to ugly monthly breakouts on my chin. The first time I came to Shlomit, I was cautiously optimistic that under her care, things would improve– and they DEFINITELY have. The best part is that they continue to!
It’s been nearly 14 months since that first appointment and the condition of my skin keeps improving. It is smoother and acne flare-​ups are now few and far between. I have complete confidence in Shlomit’s skin care knowledge and trust in her recommendations. As for my part, gone are the days of buying skin care products and make up on a whim. I’m sticking with her Silk Peel facial and the products that she and Christine recommend, and looking all the better for it!

Shlomit is amazing. Her expertise, training and knowledge rival any esthetician in the City. There is simply no reason to drive downtown when she is situated so conveniently in the neighborhood.
In addition to Shlomit’s services, the shop carries all of the best skin care products including Pevonia, MedCalia, PCA and Jane Iredale (my favorite make-​up),

David and Shlomit, owners of Beauty Network, are warm, friendly and caring. Whether you are buying a shampoo in the shop or getting a skin treatment with Shlomit, they do their best to make sure your experience is a good one. They carry a wide selection of hair and skin care products, but mostly I LOVE the make-​up they sell — Jane Iredale Mineral Cosmetics!
The best thing about getting my make up at Beauty Network is that you don’t have to go downtown to the department stores where the lighting basically sucks. Beauty Network has all their makeup out and they have real windows that provide natural light so you can see exactly how it will look on your skin. This is critical, as you know, if you want to make sure your foundation matches. Anyway, I tell all my friends to shop there for makeup and products.
And when it comes to skin treatments, Shlomit has a great new machine called SilkPeel that is fantastic for the skin. It gives me an awesome glow — I love getting Silkpeel treatments!

Not reviewing Sholmit only reviewing the store and beauty portion of it.
They have healthy make-​up and the best cleansers and hairsprays. I go here a lot and every trip i end up buying something, it’s like i cant help it. They’re not pricey but they’re not cheap, they’re about normal but somethings are cheap, like their oil blotters. I love this store, its great to buy makeup here instead of traveling far to stonestown or something.

I always feel welcome and important at the BeautyNetwork. David and Shlomit treat me like family and they always inquire about the quality of products they’ve sold me to make sure I’m satisfied. Often, they prompt me to make sure I’m moisturizing effectively (as a guy, this can be confusing). Ever since frequenting BeautyNetwork, my hair and skin have improved greatly, giving me greater confidence and enjoyment at work and social events.

I needed to find a skincare professional who I could trust to provide first-​rate service and products at reasonable prices, and after my initial facial treatment, I knew I finally found the person and the place! I started to see Shlomit back in 2002 when I moved into the neighborhood and even after having moved-​out of the city, I still continue to see her for my skincare needs.
Shlomit takes care of me — mind, body and soul! She provides genuine personal attention, while maintaining professionalism and keeps abreast of the best skincare products on the market, at all price points.
I have to give due credit to Shlomit’s right-​hand man, David, who is THE BEST greeter ever! He is very considerate and always makes sure that my parking meter is fed in the event my appointment runs past the allotted time (which is almost always the case because I enjoy my visits with Shlomit and David… they treat you like an old friend and make it hard to leave the store)!
The duo run their business like a well-​oiled machine and I am very impressed with the wide selection of products in their store. I would definitely call ahead to make an appointment because it appears to me that Shlomit rarely has availability for walk-in’s.
I leave The Beauty Network every time feeling a little more uplifted than before I arrived… not to mention also looking like a million bucks!

So I never got «zits» until my mid twenties. I have what one would call hormonal acne, which is around your chin and hairline and is pretty painful. Like everyone else I tried many products and treatments and have spent lots of money. Since seeing Shlomit my face has literally transformed in a month. She put me on a wonderful product (which I can only find from her) and gave me a few enzyme treatments and my face is clearing up like crazy! I am so excited and feel so much more confident… I am thirty years old and I finally feel my face as it should!
Not only do I love seeing Shlomit to recieve treatments I also enjoy shopping in the storefront. They have great hair, skin and gift items. Very cool store and always more then satisfctory service. Highly recommend this place. 2 thumbs all the way up!
