I don’t think you can find a better dog walker than Terry. He is extremely reliable and truly loves dogs. When I take my dog to Alamo Square and Terry is there, my dog is SO excited to see him. I’ve had numerous dog walkers in the past and I have never seen my dog this excited to see his dog walker. Not only is my dog excited to see Terry but I can tell Terry feels the same way about my dog!
Terry has been walking my dog everyday for the past two years. When I first met Terry my dog was not trained off leash. Terry worked on this with my dog everyday and now my dog has great recall and I’m not worried about letting him off leash at the park. My dog is also a very high energy dog and Terry makes sure that he gets all his energy out at the park before taking him home. There is nothing better than coming home from work to a tired dog because he got all his energy out at the park :)
Terry is always on time, very flexible, and loves my dog. I’m able to go to work and come home assured that my dog has had a great day at the park with Terry.

Thanks to Terry i am now able to go out of town and leave my dog (Am Staff Terrier) at home. Terry comes to my house and stays with my dog and he even brings Roxi. My dog isn’t the best with other dogs and having Terry around puts my mind at ease. Terry has years and years of experience with big dogs and aggressive dogs and I feel like NOTHING will ever happen when my dog is with Terry.
I have called him at the last minute and he’s is always avail. I count on Terry for everything when it comes to my dog. He feeds him, socializes him, and he treats my dog like he does Roxi and every dog.

Terry is AWESOME! I met him through another dog owner at Alamo Square who uses Terry every day. Terry was super flexible and walked my pup when I was out of the house the whole day for work — I didn’t have a consistent schedule with him — sometimes it was once or twice a week. Terry loves dogs and takes great care of them on his walks; he knows how to reign them in and practices recall with them too. We moved out of the city or else I’d still be using Terry!

What can I say about Terry. He is very responsible, flexible, professional and above all amazing with dogs. He has been walking my two crazy Min Pin’s for a year now and trust me, they are a lot to handle. He took the time to know them well, understands they have a lot of energy and sometimes try to misbehave but doesn’t just let them go wild. Terry doesn’t just walk them, he seems to train them too. When I have been home and he has come by to take them out, they jump with excitement, clearly they love Uncle Terry. I don’t trust just everyone with entry to my home when I’m not around. I trust Terry totally and would recommend him to anyone who loves their dogs.

My boyfriend met Terry and Roxy at Alamo Park, and my doggie Toby’s bff Batman’s mommie highly recommended him. We also noticed from just being around Terry that he just has that rare natural talent with dogs. They just love him, and he was always the one who knew just what to do to stop dog fights at the park.
My bf and I recently went back to Shanghai to see family, so we called Terry for dog walking. He was always on time every day, and texted us every day when he picked up and dropped off Toby. And he was so respectful of our detailed instructions about, you know, how much to feed, what to feed, wiping Toby’s paws with baby wipes every time, etc etc etc. Both he and his companion Roxy are gentle and calm models that really obviously helped our little rescue Shiba/​Chihuahua mix chill out and get less fearful/​barky. Toby has become more sociable and calm/​happy as a result of his time with Terry and Roxy. Plus, Toby (who is a fearful dog) just loooved Terry from the start, and gets so happy-​excited whenever he sees Terry. Our last dog caregiver was clearly not so good, because every time Toby sees her, he just keeps barking at her and trying to get away from her.
Terry and Roxy are just too cool and too good. Highly, highly recommended. Call him up!

Terry and Roxy are as good as it gets when it comes to dog walkers. Terry is friendly and attentive, he’s is as communicative as you want him to be. He’ll send notifications before, during and after the walk or only communicate if there’s an issue. He has accommodated my varied schedule to make sure my dog gets the walks he needs.
Roxy is an absolute gem, she’s attentive and sweet, playful but not aggressive. The two make a killer pair because I know my dog is getting outside time, play time if he wants it and companionship from human and dog. Terry knows his service and executes flawlessly. If you’re on the fence, I would highly recommend you make the decision to hire Terry and you get Roxy at no extra charge!

Highly recommend Terry as a dog walker. He’s professional, but warm and friendly; his love of dogs is obvious and they are naturally drawn to him. Even when he is not working he interacts with all of the dogs in the park and encourages positive and friendly play and perceives and abruptly stops and tense situations between dogs. He does his part to create a great environment for all of the dogs at Alamo Square Park.
Terry walked my Nuka for a little over a year while I lived in SF and I can tell that my dog really enjoyed the walks and got to play and exert a ton of energy. Overall, great experience with this business, you should definitely give Terry a call!

Terry has helped us immensely with our dog Sydney. He is one in a handful of people that can engage her in such a meaningful, positive way. She loves him! He even helped her through a TV phobia that we thought couldn’t be fixed!
He is the most positive and friendly person in the neighborhood (by Alamo Square). He has a way with people that seems only paralleled by his special ability to communicate and get along with our canine friends.
Terry is the guy on the block that is always there for you. He knows everyone and everyone knows him, and loves him!

Terry loves dogs. He’s had dogs since he was a kid and Roxy is his current best friend, a total sweetheart who minds Terry in a way I’m sure most dog owners envy. (Me included.) My dog Charlie loves both Terry and Roxy – we joke that Charlie thinks Roxy is his girlfriend – and is always excited to see them; and Terry is genuinely excited to see Charlie in turn. In fact, I’d wager Terry is excited to see just about every dog he knows (and doesn’t know). His is a very charming attitude.
Furthermore, Terry is as prompt as he is dedicated. You can rely on him to get your dog out exactly when you ask him to, and for as long as you ask him to. Whenever I travel, Terry and Roxy take Charlie to Alamo for me and, by all accounts, have a blast.

From the moment of meeting Terry, his instinctive and gentle method with dogs is evident in their warm reaction and close connection to him. His constant attention to and individual care for my dog individual needs, socialization and play preferences make him a great dog walker for her. In addition, Terry’s professionalism makes him a great choice. I definitely recommend Terry and his lovely dog Roxy!!!
