Synergy Promotions

Attend Synergy’s event last Friday at Monroe Lounge.
I love the DJ, altho sometimes he paused the music a little bit too long (maybe 6 – 10 seconds?), and the crowd are pretty good. I guess everyone was ready for Christmas’s Eve and Christmas party, so the club was not too crowded, but still full of people where you have room to walk around. Guys are pretty gentleman, they asked if they can dance with you (politely), and if you say no, they will walk away. Unlike another asian promotion events with creepy guys tried to hookup, but it’s only my opinion.
I had a great night with Synergy, and will consider going to their future events.

whats the point of signing up on for the guestlist if they just make everyone wait outside until 11:30 and pay $ 25 to get in, and why they gonna promote 150 bottle service, and not offer. fail fail fail

They ALWAYS lag the line, so even if you arrive at 10pm and are near the front, you won’t get in until 10:45. The big problem with that is that anytime after 10:30 requires you to pay. After going to Vegas so many times and getting the VIP treatment with free drink cards and not having to pay, I have some high standards.
I don’t know why they always have their events at restaurants. It always gets crowded, and there is never enough room to dance or even walk through.
My friends and I went to an event last Saturday at a new venue, and we figured we might as well check it out. BAD idea. Two of my friends left because they didn’t want to pay. The night just got worse. After we went upstairs to check it out for a little bit, we wanted to go back to the car, but we had to wait until 11:30 because of that stupid sign «No ins or outs until 11:30». Tell me why this big security guard wouldn’t even let anyone go downstairs until they had the «ok». Once we got past him, we tried to go back outside since it was already after 11:30. They were having some sort of issue and wouldn’t let anyone go out. There were some hoards of people anxiously waiting to go outside to smoke. We should have been able to come and go as we pleased. Since we couldn’t go out, we just figured we’d go back upstairs and wait. Guess again, they wouldn’t let people go upstairs because they were kicking everyone out from there. Apparently, they were overcapacity, so there were all these people leaving. I really had no idea what was going on. I saw the fire marshal and some other authority figures. My friends and I refused to leave because we had already paid our $ 15.
EVERY SINGLE TIME is like a high school reunion. –_​_​_​_​_​_​–

This night they had it at Sens and the venue was fine but the way they manage their nights totally suck.
Besides the fact that we all know there is no diversity in the crowd, its completely Asian, and most likely it’ll feel like a college reunion… they freaken rip you off! $ 25 cover and $ 15 if your on the guestlist after 1030pm. Are you serious???
A few negative points:
The bouncers are hella rude and won’t even let you meet your friends in line.
They hold up the line so that no one makes it in for the guestlist cut off time and you’re forced to pay. (We got there at 10pm and the line wasn’t even THAT long but we ended up waiting there for 45minutes. When we got inside it was compeltely empty and no one was even on the dance floor! WTF was the line for? Only reason we still went in was cause friends were already in or were on their way.)
People need to stop choosing to go to Synergy parties and go else where so i’m not forced to go, in order to meet up with them! Synergy promo crew u are whack!

I seem to have a natural attraction to things that SUCK because no matter how many times I tell myself I will never attend another Synergy party… I find myself gyrating my drunken hips to a random girl smack dab on their many dance venues throughout the city a few weeks later.
All they care about is sealing the deal and after that you’re on your own. Case in point: My friend ordered bottle service for his birthday but he hadn’t arrived yet so I walked up to their VIP line (no one was there yet) to ask them a question. The three girls and someone who looked like a guy ignored me and continued talking amongst themselves. Even after they stopped talking they tried their best not to look in my direction until I said «Hi.» How rude.
Gonna make this a quick post. So, what does it all boil down to when they host events?
–There is no synergy in the way they wrote their business plan and how it’s carried out
–No diversity whatsoever with superficial girls who are essentially ugly to begin with
–Tons of Creepers and Perverts in there (Read the following blog for more info:

–The female promoters have this notion that they are too good to acknowledge anyone who doesn’t drive a Mercedes or rice rocket of some sort
–The male promoters have this notion that they are playas as they roam their turf trying to act important although everyone knows they are overcompensating for something

…and only because I’d probably go again…

Terrible experiance with Synergy… it was my birthday weekend this pass Halloween and my friends and I decided to attend their Moster Ball. We brought our tickets and when I got there they told me that my name was not on the list when i had my confirmation email on my phone and my cc that I use to purchese my tix. They still refuse to let me in… so we went to another party in the end. I’ve been calling Synergy since Monday morning to get my money back and have not heard from anyone. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR ELSE IM CALLING MY CC COMPANY AND REPORTING THIS AS A FRAUD. TERRIBLE SERVICE AND YOU FUCKED UP MY BIRTHDAY AT LEAST FOR THE FIRST 2 HOURS… NEVER AGAIN SYNERGY.
