Everything is great about this Starbucks… the location inside the Presidio, the interior, but the staff, well to be kind, suck. Almost all of them have a major attitude, more than your average SF barista. Not sure what the issue is, but it’s consistently bad. I come here once a week(because I have to; no other nearby coffee in the complex). Get your coffee without the attitude and sit outside in the lush green of the Presidio, but don’t think you’re going to be besties with your barista.

Great customer service. I ordered a vanilla sweet cream cold brew and the barista originally made me a regular cold brew but a different barista kindly helped me add the cream when I asked about it. Nice outdoor seating area that overlooks the palace of fine arts. Plentiful accessible outlets and the tables even had wireless charging stations. The bathroom(at least the women’s one) could be more clean.

Great public seating. HORRIBLE, DIRTYBATHROOMS. I politely informed the staff but they seemed annoyed that I mentioned it(bathroom is really dirty and no paper towels). I informed them so 1) the other customers after me could have a clean bathroom to use, and 2) the EMPLOYEESMAKINGBEVERAGES could have clean hands and not use a dirty bathroom before serving food to the public. Probably the best kept secret of this city — the Starbucks in the Presidio! Not gonna tell where it is, but it makes for a perfect stop on your Sunday stroll, surrounded by trees and meadows. It even has an outdoor area for the sunny days(yes, sunny days), and, for your convenience, a restroom that is not locked by a code. The staff during my visit was very fast, but not really friendly. Oh well, I can forget about that and just enjoy my Grande Pike out there in the sun.

Picture it: I walk into this Starbucks wanting my usual. My usual which involves blending coffee and sugar and ice together to create a magnificent scrumptious enchantment of caffeine, a resonance of pure bliss, turning dragons into kittens, akin to gold for the soul. And all the blenders are broken. Because hell is real folks, hell is real.

This has to rate as one of the best Starbucks anywhere. An open secret among locals, you might never think to look for one in this spot, a converted military complex amid the sprawling Presidio, now housing Lucas digital media wizardry among other things. There’s no big green Starbucks sign, just a couple normal signs with arrows directing you to building A, B, C, D – or Starbucks. Tell the parking attendant at the gate that’s why you’re here. Look for the Yoda fountain to the left of the entrance. The Force Awakens here — with the help of a double or quad espresso. Take your selfie before heading to the rear of the building where coffee awaits. Grab a rare outdoor table if it’s a rare warm sunny day. Take a stroll on the beautiful grounds and enjoy views of the domed Palace of Fine Arts and beyond. Pro tip: It’s not a bad walk(less than a mile, easy downhill) down the path to the beach at Crissy Field. Also, it’s a Starbucks, with all that entails. With parking. In San Francisco. Despite rumors to the contrary, it has free wifi(«Google Starbucks»). I make a habit of going to this one every time I find myself in that part of town. Like many parts of the Presidio and Golden Gate Park, it’s a soothing bucolic retreat from the madding city crowds. Enjoy!

Can the crew at Starbucks Presidio be any more thoughtful and downright awesome? They gave my husband a cute little onesie for my soon to be newborn with a cartoon of Darth Vader wielding a light saber. Caption: Sith in training! Love it. Thank you!

I love this Starbucks. It’s different than the others as it has a lot of seating inside and outside and you can’t go wrong being surrounded by the pretty presidio exterior! My bf tends to sit here on the weekends me and my crazy bff go on our semi-annual half marathon runs. What I like about this spot is the bathrooms are also large and clean. Can’t beat a place to clean up after a run! Also folks here tend to not be the stinky kind as my bf has mentioned to me on occasions when he’d have to sit at other SF Starbucks locations where the homeless wander in.

Check out my review video at the link below: Are you looking for a place to escape the congested city streets of San Francisco? Are you interested in taking in some peacefully scenic views of the Palace of Fine Arts over a soothing cup of tea? Well look no further than Starbucks in the Presidio. Located in the historic Presidio neighborhood, this run-of-the-mill coffee shop is anything but ordinary. Starbucks in the Presidio is one of my favorite first or second date locations. First of all, the Presidio is a gorgeous national park with a rich and vibrant heritage. The preserved military homes and office buildings add nostalgic nuances of American history. Grab a coffee you can count on from Starbucks and enjoy inside or outside seating options with many places to explore if you want to keep your date active. The reason I love it for a first date is because there is ample free-parking options, the baristas are always nice, the service is quick, and the bathrooms are spacious and clean. But there’s much more to it than just that. The park’s oversized evergreen trees help maintain a crisp freshness in the air, guaranteed to keep your date alert and energized. Exploring the Presidio’s lush greenery, serene stone ponds, and woodsy hiking trails stimulates endorphins and escalates pair bonding. Being in nature engages the senses which helps to replace logic with emotion, a major factor in creating chemistry and stimulating sexual attraction. The rolling green hills of the Presidio and expansive grassy nulls are likely to activate happy childhood memories of easy-going summers spent at the park with family. Take a peaceful walk through the tranquil water garden and share stories of the days you spent when you were younger, playing outdoors with your friends in the warm summer heat. The only down side? If you’re taking public transportation this location is far away from BART and MUNI but you can get there by bus and it’s well worth the trip if you’ve never been. And now you know why Starbucks in the Presidio is anything but your average coffee date. I only order Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate whenever I goes to Starbucks, and their barista at this location got it perfect! Not too sweet, not too salty. This location is really nice too! On the other hand, the exact same drink from another Starbucks location here in Oakland was overly sweet with lots of caramel syrup left at the bottom of my cup. Sad face. :(

Although I’m mad at starbucks for shutting down la boulange, they have quick and convenient spinach feta wraps(which they offer with lil siracha packets now!) Also can’t beat the service here, they’re always so awesome! Esp the guy with the cool hair and plugs.

I work at the same building and go to this Starbucks very often . I love people who work here — always nice, always fast, always perfect orders. But I want to give a big thank to them for a perfect and on time pre-order. Great job, guys! This Starbucks is the best in the city!

My husband works in the same building as this Starbucks, so we stop here occasionally. The plus is the location — you can grab a coffee and walk down to the beautiful view and man-made lake(? is that what you call it?). The drinks are standard, and when we last came the tables were a bit dirty and the trash cans were full. But other than that, this is a typical Starbucks.

In response to my ordering a menu item currently listed on the menu but apparently no longer available, I was told: «Nope. Not available.» When I pointed out it was on the menu, I was told: «We are not in control of our menu. Never have been.» I assume this means that your corporate body controls the pre-printed menu signs, but a little kindness and a smile would go a long way. Perhaps suggest a similar drink? Heaven forbid, apologize for no longer having the item? Great customer service is still a thing loyal customers enjoy — FYI.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to and I travel monthly. Mike had the WORST customer service. As a early morning barista, you should have the patience and the personality to handle a small line of morning people. Mike was making hand gestures telling me to hurry up and didn’t even give me my food warmed like I asked. He was getting mad at the computer for not being fast enough and i watched as my bill went up to $ 19 because he kept clicking the screen HARD. Then I had to wait for him to fix it. When my boyfriend gave him back the food saying I asked for it warmed, Mike argued back saying«no she didn’t. Next time you better tell us right when you buy it». Now I was not dressed proper like all these business people because I was traveling from a backpacking trip. I felt mistreated because I looked like a bum compared to the rest of the customers. Here’s the best part– MIKEISTHEMANAGER. I work in customer service and this is the worst I’ve seen. I really hope the district manager fires this one. Without a doubt this Mike was a mistake.

This one is for you Tracy A. You said. «Why on earth would anyone write a review about Starbucks? What is there to write about?» Challenge accepted. :-) I’m anti Starbucks. Though throughout the years of travel abroad, Starbucks became so ubiquitous that you start to use it as a refuge when you are homesick. In addition, every conference you go to they give you a gift certificate of $ 5 Starbucks card. So you keep on reminding yourself that you must use them but you can’t bring yourself to a Starbucks. Thus, this is a rare occasion to sing praises of this coffee giant based in Seattle. It’s the location that made the difference. Park on Broadway, skip the Lyon Street Stairs, walk through the Presidio, and you are at this Starbucks in less than half an mile. More ambitious walkers /runners should start from Golden Gate Park, then pass through the chaotic Clement and then enter on the side of on 9th and Lake into the Presidio, then continue on down through Presidio and you end up near Lombard and Legion of Honor. A great route. Except one should always plan for a pit stop. Enter this Starbucks. It’s strategically located. You can get a bathroom break, free wifi and coffee and things before completing your running/walking route. Take a look at this Building C while at it. Every firm inside of this building seems to be a private equity firm. Interesting. Long table is excellent for doing your scavenger hunt strategy session. We were on foot and did not know what it was. It was the annual play-dash day. It started there. There were two teams of five occupying the long table. The game went all the way to Marina Green. I ended up chatting up with that organizer who choose this very Starbucks as the beginning of the route. He also ended it there as well. The building is very airy and warm, it faces a huge green lawn, and it felt like you are out and about(which you are until that very moment of coming inside of Building C) and so close to the nature. When did Presidio go upscale? Always living in the shadow of the GGP, it’s so very much under appreciated. Now, you don’t have to worry about that bathroom break you’ve been dreading about any more. While at it, get yourself a cup of Americano before you head to Crissy Fields. It gets windy. You will need a warm drink on hand. I never saw the Yoda statue but there was a statue of Philo T. Farnsworth, aka the guy who invented TV right next to it, this particular statue in the Presidio by the Starbucks garnished a nice review on NYT three years back. Don’t miss it. An added bonus. A great date place. There is a man made pond just down the green lawn. Grab your coffee and things, head to the pond, watch the duckies, and then sit on the bench while holding hands, admiring the pink spring flowers in bloom on the tall branches. You are almost always alone, and it’s almost guaranteed to be romantic. All that for just $ 3 /cup of coffee. You may actually grow to like Starbucks.

It’s a Starbucks with a nice view with its best feature being a nice large balcony outside for a pleasant outdoor experience, when it’s sunny. Only a couple of comfy chairs. Pleasant crew as most of them have. Best thing about this one is the proximity to the Yoda statue just round the corner.

They’re generally friendly here. They get lots of regulars and hook my coworkers up with their regular orders based on memory. I rarely come in for coffee, but I ordered myself a latte while a coworker went to the pickup counter and asked for a cup of water. The barista gave her a big cup, no questions asked. I got my latte from the same guy, then I asked him if I could also have a cup of water. He told me I had to order it from the counter, this is policy… policy is policy, but if you’re going to bullshit me when you gave the person I walked into the store with no issues, you’re just being a jerk. Or maybe it’s because I don’t have lady parts to tickle your fancy?

This is one of the best starbucks in SF. They have Google Starbucks which is pretty fast internet(Oct 2013). The ambience is noisy which makes it nice for having a social cup of coffee rather than studying or reading. As a problem with most coffee shops in San Francisco, this location closes at 6:00/ 7:00 pm which is hard for people who like to go coffee shops late at night.

This place has character. I redeemed my birthday drink at this Starbucks location last year and boy, did they make it interesting! When I ordered and showed them my Starbucks app, the cashier said happy birthday, asked for my name and wrote on the cup. Standard procedure. When my drink was ready, the barista yelled out, «Sandy, the birthday girl!» Wide-eyed and confused, I slowly walk over to get my drink. Two random strangers even said, «happy birthday! We’re going to embarrass you now!» Aaahhh, *dies-as-I-find-my-seat-and-try-to-act-casual
