We went out on this adventure last weekend and it was fantastic. It was a glorious, warm SF day and sailing the Bay was amazing. As we boarded the USS Potomac, which used to belong to Franklin D Roosevelt when he was President, we were handed a yummy glass of wine immediately and then lots of really nice passed hors d’ouevres. They were pouring about 6 wines, all were tasty and went well with the food. We sailed along shore and then out under the Golden Gate Bridge — awesome views! Total sail time was about two hours and it was a nice way to enjoy a light brunch on a Sunday morning. they also do Saturday afternoon cruises which would be a fun pre-dinner activity. Check it out — running only in summer.
