Relatively clean and no queuing for machines when I went there on a Thursday morning. Easy parking. Free wifi. In a rare unspoiled neighborhood in SF. Coffee shop is nearby.
Unlike some other commenters, I liked the 80s/​90s radio station.
The machines were all working, although one of the washers had some weird crud in it, so I avoided that one.
Powerful and large dryers got my 1.5 loads dry in 24 minutes.

Best laundrymat in the area hands down. Always clean and its safe especially with all the video cameras around. Plenty of street parking around too. Owner is a very nice and lovely lady who will always respond if you call her if for some reason a machine stops working. Free wi-​fi is awesome too.

This place is clean, safe and they staff is funny and friendly. They even have a vending machines. You can’t beat the free wifi and for some reason the white washing machines get my brights brighter and my clothes seen to come out twice as clean??? Love this place

Well I’m writing this post from the San Jose Coin-​Op so that says something! (Wi-​fi is free, btw.) I don’t have much experience with laundromats so I don’t know what makes one five stars (couches? Someone to do your laundry for you?). What I can tell you are there are loads of washers and dryers. I’ve come here at random times — Monday afternoons, Saturday nights, Thursdays — and it’s never crowded. The prices are reasonable — I paid roughly the same amount when I lived in an apartment building with washers and dryers. There are different kinds of washers and dryers as well so if you need to wash a sleeping bag in a commercial washer you can.
They also play oldies over a radio. When I walked in the song was «Love is a battlefield.» I personally prefer silence but that’s just me.
I have to say too they have great customer service. One of the washers ate my quarters and when I called the number listed on the door they got back to me immediately and sent me a check for the money I lost. Works for me!
