San Francisco Bible Church

I’ve been coming here for a couple years now and found it to be a second home away from home, especially when I was in grad school. I’ve gotten to know a lot of people, many of whom are my closest friends now.
I also appreciate the pastors and how genuine and authentic they seem. (Note: read my review at S&E Café where I accidentally ate my pastor’s wife’s bao and felt really bad. Those baos are good, but I digress.) The sermons are thorough and NOT emotion or personal story based. I feel like I really learn and am challenged to see how I can apply the lessons in my own life.
SFBC has a bunch of different ministries or programs depending on what you’re interested in. They range from middle school to college to working to married and more. As a mother, I’m personally thankful whenever there’s nursery care provided! My son loves being in nursery with the other kids and I really trust the people helping out there. I was personally looking for a family church with people of all ages so I appreciate how there’s a wide range of people to get to know and learn from in general. Although something about rating a church seems wrong, i am compelled to say that this church is great. Warm and inviting people. We are new to this church, but probably done looking around.
