Eva is a magician, she is both dog whisperer and incredible human communicator. She takes my young and sassy pooch and tires her out on epic hours long odysseys to the beach or her secret spot in Pacifica.
She’s extremely experienced and knowledgable and more importantly understanding about my concerns and keeps me up to date about changes in behavior and health. The dog loves her, and waits hopefully for Eva on days she is not scheduled to come.
She’s shares photos of the dogs on outings via instagram and leaves us prints too (amazing).
My family does a lot of travel over the summer, and Eva has been amazingly flexible and reliable about our changes in schedule and location.
She’s a rare gem.

I cannot begin to adequately explain how wonderful Eva is. She is incredibly knowledgeable about dog behavior and is great at explaining why a dog may act or react a certain way. As first-​time dog owners my partner and I have benefitted greatly from Eva’s services and expert knowledge. Buddy (our 4-​year old black lab) has such an awesome time on his outings with Eva and is always tired and mellow at the end of each day. Eva is attentive and engaged while out with her pack and we are thankful Bud is in such great care while we are away at work. I HIGHLY recommend Eva’s services. She is absolutely amazing!

Eva is nothing short of a treasure.
I have a dog who loves other dogs and is very shy around people, and of whom I am very protective, so finding the right dog walker was a challenge involving several interviews that went nowhere. The minute I met Eva and saw how well she understands dogs, all of my anxieties vanished. She let him take his time to sniff and get to know her, and by the end of our initial interview she had already won him over. By the end of a week he was so excited to see her in the morning that her face would get covered in kisses and my velcro dog would happily leave me to go play with Eva and her pack.
A year later and I am amazed at the change in him that her leadership and training have helped support. He warms up to people so much more quickly now, and is the gentlest treat-​taker you have ever seen. She has gone out of her way to help me find a vet, gotten me and Helo connected with some fantastic scent training classes, and has been incredibly flexible with my occasionally crazy schedule.
She is a straight-​up awesome human being and one of the few people on the planet that I implicitly trust with my dog. I am convinced that Eva is worth her weight in gold.

I’m one of those completely crazy first time helicopter pet parents — you know the type.
When Dani, my lab/​husky mix graduated from SF Puppy Prep’s daycare program at six months old, I began my search of an equally incredible young adult program with similar due diligence as a human parent researching kindergartens. After clear cosmic blessing, I found Eva.
She is warmest, most incredible person I’ve ever come across — and a top notch professional. If I had it my way (and my fiancé wouldn’t kill me) I’d name Eva in my will to look after Dani for her whole happy puppy life. :)
She will truly treat your pet exactly as you would — and isn’t that what we’re really looking for?

Eva has been amazing with our dog Molly. Molly is a high strung, nervous dog who would go insane if she did not get her daily walk with Eva.
We are happy because Molly is exercised and calm after her outings and because we know that she is 100% safe in Eva’s care.

I honestly cannot say enough wonderful things about Eva! My dog, Monkey, goes on daily walks with her to Fort Funston. Even though I seldom have the occasion to see Eva in person, I have had multiple neighbors come up to me telling me how much she clearly loves Monkey.
Admittedly, Monkey is a bit much to handle. He is as nosy as they come and listening skills are not his forte. That said, Eva has been so patient with him and always looks out to make sure he’s nearby and safe.
She has provided me really useful tips to help Monkey improve his recall and we met Eva once for a one-​on-​one session for training. She clearly knows dogs really well as adores them.
Monkey absolutely loves her and he can be a bit of a discerning guy. He definitely doesn’t love everyone. With Eva, he is living the life and is happy as a little clam.
Eva is a total pleasure and it’s such a relief to go to work each day knowing my boy is in great hands. I cannot recommend her enough!

If I could give more stars I would, Eva and Emiliana of Ruff Riders K-​9 Adventures make our pups lives exciting, full of adventure, and always with positive training. Balthazar and June Bug couldn’t do without these gals. We have no worries, ever, when are pups are in their care (for almost 6 years now). When we go on vacation and our pups stay with them, we know that our pups are on vacation — when we come back, they are thrilled to see us, but are so tired from having such a great time. Go with Ruff Riders if you want your pup (s) in the best of care. And, if you ever need help with your pups — can’t figure out what’s going on behaviorally — they will take the time help you troubleshoot what to do to make you and your pups happier. There is not enough wonderful things to say about them!

Eva and crew are the best– they are super-​responsible, always friendly when you have changes or things come up and best yet– our little yorkie LOVES them probably as much as he loves his moms ! He is always super-​stoked to see them (even after 3 years), he is always tired at the end of the day (no small feat with a little dog) and the peace of mind knowing that our sweet poochie is taken care of is worth every penny. Eva’s rates are extremely competitive, they go to Ft Funston which is the best dog place and she trained him– so he actually is safer off-​leash than before we had them… They are also beyond helpful and responsive if you have to get a hold of them with a change for the day, or you are dog-​sitting and have an extra dog. They are always exceptionally professional and mindful if they have vacation changes or if you need to know how your dogs been during the time with them… I can’t say enough good things about them all…

The Ruff Riders crew has been walking my dogs for years and I can’t say enough great things about them. My dogs come home exhausted and they seem to be trained too!!! She always give me a report when something is up so it helps me monitor the dog’s health and behavior. I highly highly recommend them. I don’t know how she does it… they all listen to her (and not to me!).

I have no idea why it took me so long to write this, but Eva and the other Ruff Rider crew are amazing! Every time my little guy Baxter comes home he has the biggest grin on his face and is obviously soooo happy. It’s clear that he’s getting great exercise, because every time he goes out with Eva (twice a week) he basically passes out for the rest of the night. I’m assuming he’s having cute little dreams about frolicking at Fort Funston with his buddies. Eva also took the time to teach Baxter amazing recall, which is priceless :) The only downside is that I think Baxter may prefer Eva over me and my husband!

Eva has been walking my dog, Willis, for years now. Not only do I trust her implicitly with my pride and joy, I have seen her in action at Funston many times. She devotes hours to her hikes. .. and really exercises the dogs (unlike many dogwalkers I see at dogparks, standing there talking on the phone while the dogs wander aimlessly). Given her dog training background, she’s also made valuable suggestions to help with my little guy’s anxiety. And because he’s been part of a pack since he was a baby, Willis has no issues with dog aggression or socialization. I would highly recommend Eva to anyone looking for an exceptional dog walking experience.

Eva has been walking my Yellow Lab ‘Monty’ for at least 3 years and she’s great! Very reliable, flexible and easy to work with!
‘Monty’ loves going out with Eva to the beach or the park, though she did note that Eva doesn’t give her as many treats as she would like! :-)

For over five years our Golden Retriever, Cleo, has been running with
Eva and her gang. There is not a day that goes by that Cleo doesn’t

another great adventure.
Eva and her team are consummate professionals, taking the time to encourage good behavior with firm benevolence. Eva has been very proactive and observant, and she is attuned to the pack, recognizing changes in behavior or health and notifying us guardians as appropriate.
