As a first time diamond buyer, I didn’t know what to expect in the engagement ring buying process. I feel very fortunate to have came across Rich. He was very patient with me and was extremely informative throughout the process. He allowed me to evaluate several diamonds to figure out what type (size, clarity, color) would make the most sense for my budget. I felt like he was able to source a great diamond that was bigger and better quality than I was initially expecting based on my budget (and what I saw online). Rich also created the band, and overall it is a beautiful ring that my fiancée loves.

After I bought the ring, Rich continued to impress. My fiancée and I were heading on vacation after we got engaged, and Rich was able to turn around a resizing of the band in a day (I messed up and gave the wrong size initially).

I had a really good experience working with Rich (he has a great deal of experience with diamonds). He gave me a really good deal of information on what i wanted to look for in a diamond, and was not pushy about anything.
When i knew what i wanted, he was able to find a great quality diamond for the price range i looked at. He was also very easy to get a hold of, and my fiancé really loved the ring.

I worked with Rich to create an engagement ring and have to say the process was a lot easier than expected. Rich kept me in the loop every step of the process and saved me a lot of money (and headache) compared to other larger retailers. Working with Rich to create an engagement ring for my fiancée was nothing short of a pleasure. Rich patiently spent months helping us design and create the perfect engagement ring for our budget. I am confident that we would not have been able to achieve the same level of quality and clarity for the price anywhere else. Additionally, his knowledge of jewelry and diamonds in particular is extensive. He spent considerable time explaining to us the differences in diamonds to us to help us make the best decision. We will be taking all of our future jewelry needs to Rich.

I worked with Rich to create a replacement wedding ring. He was patient and knew all the questions to ask to ensure I was 100% happy with the final product. He has no problem explaining the differences in quality/​clarity of the diamonds. He even brought several stones to show the difference in color and size. He created a wax model which is very helpful to visual people like myself to make sure I didn’t want any final tweaks. I may be biased, but I believe he created for me the most stunning ring in my budget.

I’d say I hold all businesses to a pretty high standard; even a really solid business or establishment that I frequent often are sometimes a 4 star… I guess you could consider me a harsh critic at times, so my 5-​star review for Rich should carry considerable weight. My experience with Rich was nothing short of Stellar; I bought a setting from another local wholesaler, but I wasn’t super-​thrilled overall, not bad, but tepid. I called RTL on a Sunday and Rich answered. He was enthusiastic about helping me find exactly what I was looking for and giving me options. Not only was he willing to discuss my project on a Sunday, that but he agreed to meet me the following week at a convenient time to discuss and explain diamonds a bit better to me (I’m a novice). I won’t go into ridiculous detail, but here’s the bottom-​line: Rich is an absolute straight-​shooter, he’s patient, knowledgeable, and he will take the time to help you find EXACTLY what you want (with many, many options). I cannot say enough kind words, talk to him and you’ll understand.

It was a pleasure to work with Rich as I shopped for an engagement ring. He did a great job of finding me a diamond with the most visual appeal at a great price. He was a straight shooter and I could not have been happier with the experience and product.

He offered to what I found, after many weeks of searching around and doing some shopping, to either have prices that were equal or lower to other places by up to 15%.
He is also very educational in the process also as he explains what to look for in a diamond, and explains why diamonds are priced the way they are for various reasons, rather than just show you the cheapest diamonds he can get for you like many online retailers.
I would recommend Rich for anyone looking to get a Diamond. He will offer you the best value (best quality at lowest price) and will not waste your time with cheap diamonds that no one would wear or wouldn’t fit your budge. Don’t waste your time with retailers that somehow get a 15% diamond cheaper for you, there is a reason and it isn’t magic.

I found Rich online through an exhaustive search for an engagement ring.
My preference is quality before price. For me, the challenge of buying a diamond was weighing cost vs. benefit. As it turns out, I spent more than I intended but for all the right reasons. The price I paid was very competitive and I got exactly what I wanted at below market price.
Here is where Rich differentiated himself from the competition. He basically took the risk out of the purchase. Case and point, the first diamond I purchased looked awesome as a loose diamond but lost something in the setting. Not sure how or why but Rich was very accommodating with my request to see different stones in the setting. He was genuinely interested in making me happy and never tried to sell me on anything. He simply provided other stones to evaluate and left the decision entirely up to me.
As it turns out, I found a couple stones I liked. He offered to set either stone and hold onto the other until I was sure I had what I wanted. The first stone we set looked stunning and I am thrilled.
I researched the purchase extensively, have memorized cut proportions and know much more than I want about diamonds.
Rich never showed any signs of fatigue from my dozens of questions and never lost interest in helping me find what I wanted.

I recently bought a diamond engagement ring from Rich and could not be happier with my purchase! Rich was there any time I had a question or concern and was prompt in his responses. Let me start by saying I love my ring. My boyfriend proposed with a solitaire diamond ring. While that ring was beautiful, I wanted something different. I didn’t want the traditional engagement ring, so I started googling for ideas and shopping for jewelers. Rich was recommended by my fiancée’s sister and I couldn’t be happier. It doesn’t even look like the Duchess’s ring even though it’s a sapphire. Mine is prettier if I may say so.

My wife and I have been going to Rich for almost 12 years. We’ve purchased at least a ½ a dozen pieces from him over that time. It’s shocking how reasonable his prices are, and how easy it is for him to «knock-​off» brand name pieces from high end companies like Tiffany at a fraction of the cost. He’s been able to get his hands on even the most exotic jewels for us at reasonable prices, including a Tanzanite piece we wanted to commemorate our trip to Africa. Best quality and value out there for jewelry!

Rich is a straight shooter. He doesn’t BS you or try to sell you. Before meeting Rich I had spent a lot of time searching for the perfect diamond ring for my fiancé. I was surprised by how little one got for his money, particularly at retail boutiques like Tiffany or Shreave & Company. Eventually, I was pointed to Rich by a knowledgeable friend. I met with Rich and he was able to lay out five diamonds based on what I was looking for. All were GIA certified and I found the carat, cut, color and clarity was superior to what I saw at retail jewelers for the price. I was able to get a much larger and more sparkling diamond for my money through Rich and it was GIA inscribed. My money went much farther with Rich and to this day people constantly comment on my fiancé’s ring, saying how stunning it is.
