History
Established in 1990.
Fresh from NYC, Raul spent time working as assistant to mega make-up artists Billy B. and David Madrich as well as shooting for his portfolio. Raul is currently represented by Ford in San Francisco and continues to develop steadfast professional relationships with local model agencies, photographers, art directors, production and talent houses. In 1990, Raul launched his NYC career as a freelance hair and make-up artist. Over the years, he’s been responsible for art directing and producing countless photo-shoots for publication and top modeling agencies, such as: Ford, Elite and DNA Models. Working directly with Frank Toskan, creator of MAC cosmetics, Raul was involved in opening the very first MAC store in America. Later, as senior make-up artist for Face Stockholm in Manhattan was responsible for researching and developing the company’s professional artistry program, as well as creating and designing their first line of professional make-up brushes.

Working directly with Frank Toskan, creator of MAC cosmetics, Raul was involved in opening the very first MAC store in America., A San Francisco native, Raul returned to his home in the mid ‘90s, to produce editorial for Surface Magazine; Macy’s; Levi’s and Warner Bros. — and to assist Laura Mercier with the launch of her new cosmetics line.
