Some very nasty. Gave an extra star bc cashier let me return one.

A very questionable experience. Besides the service being quite abrupt and uncompromising, we certainly second-guessed ourselves when the food came. We were just in for a snack, so we had some of the mini corn dogs and the popcorn chicken and a couple smoothies… the food took quite some time to come out(in an empty establishment) and then we had the unsavory experience of biting into some of the popcorn chicken and having to question if it was fully cooked or not. With the poor service, the high wait times and the subpar food, I would certainly avoid

I think I got food posioning here. Bought some fried octopus and that’s all I ate today and now I’m throwing up and feeling super anxious and my stomach still hurts. Not sure if I’d be coming back for food. Or ever at this location.

First thing I notice about this place is the large amount of space for a boba shop. Tons of seating available. I asked for a regular boba milk tea, just because I’ve been craving it for quite some time. I got it extremely quick, as if it was already prepared before I even arrived, but it definitely was not the best boba I’ve had. I barely finished paying($ 2.16 including tax, cash only) when the cashier held my drink out to me, but the drink tasted like there was way too much water/ice.

If I could give 0 stars, best believe I would! From my experience, one of the workers tried to RIPMEOFF. I was buying popcorn chicken, which is $ 4.50 + tax, in addition to a large jasmine green milk tea, which is $ 2.71. The total was somehow $ 6.71, however, she ripped me off by giving me a SMALL jasmine green milk tea with NO boba, when I clearly asked for a LARGE with boba. I immediately asked for a large with boba, and it came back with yet again, NO boba. I asked why there wasn’t any boba, and she told me there wasn’t anymore boba, when she clearly said that there was SMALL boba earlier. Oh, and for the popcorn chicken, she gave me very little. Walked out very disappointed. Avoid this location.

Haters gon’ hate. After browsing the reviews here, I was scared to try this place but seriously– it is PERFECTLYFINE! Quickly is an international chain, not known for its stellar or imaginative offerings, but for consistent, mid-range quality snack foods, priced to sell at volume. Off the top of my head, I can name 8 places to buy boba drinks within a 5 mile radius of my childhood home, so this is not new to me. As long as you understand that this is not going to be Half & Half Tea House or Au 79(Arcadia, holla back), this place will meet your needs. It’s not the best you’ll ever drink, but it’s also pretty damn far from the worst(hello, Loving Hut in Palo Alto). The passion fruit green tea + regular boba I ordered was good: it tasted like actually-brewed tea, it was sweet enough without making me worry about my pancreas, and the boba was a pleasant texture: neither hard nor mushy, but bouncy and chewy. Besides that, a large cup cost me just $ 3.25– a STEAL in San Francisco. I plan on coming back regularly.

Quickly here looks dated, like it’s been here awhile, lots of room for sit down should one desire to. menu: usual bites and drinks drink: jasmine milk tea(1.49) –sweet milk tea taste without much jasmine flavoring –much better than tap. ex., no boba of course. –fast service.

i was craving boba, and this place was close to my hotel, so I made the trek here right before they closed. They use mini and regular sized boba mixed together, which can be a bit confusing for your mouth. Sometimes you end up swallowing the small ones whole while trying to watch out for the big ones to chew. The boba also don’t have much flavor themselves. I ordered a milk tea and asked the cashier to recommend another one for me, she suggested mango. Normally I don’t go for the fruity types, but I figured why not? But this time I should have trusted my instincts because the mango was a little too sweet for me. Overall this was a good little spot to grab a quick boba, not very expensive. If I’m ever in the area and craving a boba, I’ll most likely return.

Probably the worst Quickly I have ever been to. Ordered a milk tea and popcorn chicken. The girl that takes orders never seems to be happy so no smile. Got my drink and it tasted very powdery, the boba has no flavor and needs more syrup. I also expected more popcorn chicken in my bag when I own got about 8 pieces for $ 4.50 which was a rip off compared to other Quickly’s. I am overall disappointed at this location.

This isn’t a place where I’d like to sit and enjoy my drink. It’s a little dark and a little dirty. You’re also not allowed to bring in any outside food or drink, and they will charge you if you do so, at least that’s what a sign said. The drink menu is overwhelming. I usually just get a milk tea or taro milk tea with boba for the nice price of $ 1.99. At under $ 2, I’ve been known to buy many cups to-go, head back to school and hand them out to friends. Cash only and emotionless workers. Nothin’ special here.

I was introduced to Quickly when I took the sip of death from my co-worker’s tapioca milk tea. For the next 7 days(no kidding) in a row I got the same thing. It is sooo damn, hella, wicked, mad delicious! Then I googled how much sugar & calories are in one milk tea and now i’ve restricted myself to only going once a week.

Made a pit stop for a quick bite. Had the popcorn chicken($ 4.50). Would have liked it more crisp. The portion isn’t what I used to receive in the past, so I was a bit disappointed by that. I was waiting for friends nearby, so had time to wash down the dryness with some Thai milk tea for the sale price of $ 1.49. It was ready instantly, so I guess it was already made in a pitcher or something. Tasted like it as was somewhat watered down.

It was hard for me to decide whether to give this Quickly two or three stars. I’ll just really simply pro and con it: Pro: — No other half decent bubble tea place near this part of Polk — Generally pretty empty — Seats by the window — You can’t really screw up making these drinks Cons: — Dirty — The staff couldn’t care less about you — Cash only — Really weird people walk in and out, and not necessarily the fun kind

Ok, I’m going to keep this short and to the point because I’m sick of finding, trying, and reviewing every disappointing branch in this city. My only other experience with Quickly was in Atlanta and it was so good I could hardly go a day without visiting them. But at least now I know why people here give me this strange look when I say I want to go to Quickly. Large Jasmine bubble tea: too sweet. tapioca overcooked. Popcorn chicken: greasy, gross. no flavor whatsoever except for the flavor of grease, if that counts as a flavor. had to toss it after 5 pieces because the chicken had a texture that made me suspect it was not quite defrosted or cooked all the way. I think that sample size is more than sufficient for me to officially declare it inedible… I might even get sick later. Grand total = $ 7.58 Standing in this store while you wait for your drink and/or food is like standing by a dumpster. This location is NASTY and there are more flies here than I can even attempt to count.

Pretty big sized interior for a Quickly I must say. Never really had high expectations for this place. Weird thing was the chicken was pretty pricey. Ordered a red bean slush and that was alright but I wanted a green bean slush. Here’s my conversation with the waitress: Me: «Hi, can I get a green bean slush?» Waitress: «Red Bean?» Me: «Green Bean?» Waitress: «Red Bean slush?» Clearly her engrish needs some improvement and it was some pretty dull service I tell ya.

My apartment manager tells me that they were the ones that started Ed Jew’s fall from grace. A fellow Unilocaler tells me that their bubble milk tea doesn’t even feature real milk. An old friend tells me that their chicken nuggets are scary. And you know what? I don’t care. I still love their bubble milk tea. And this store is just two blocks from my apartment. Which is boiling hot right now. Cash only, buyers beware.

I’ve never stayed in this location for more than 5 minutes and that’s simply because I’ve always gotten my drinks to go and that always serve it up pretty quickly. My favourite? Hands down the hot taro milk tea with tapioca. So good. The only downside is that it’s cash only but luckily there’s a ATM at the bar next door.

This place is cash only. They serve all types of tea drinks, small hong kong style appetizers like toast, egg cakes, curry fish balls, etc. I ordered an iced milk tea and the hk style egg cake. They’re both alright. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but since it is so close, I’ll probably come back for milk tea.

A Quickly can be hit or miss, mainly miss but every once in a while one surprises you by being clean and efficient. This location is that surprise! Of course all the bubble teas and fried food items are here but it’s the super friendly service, lots of room to sit and free wi fi that make this one. Enjoy this Asian Starbugs!
