Precision Garage Door exceeded my expectations completely. From project price to garage door installation they made the process painless and fun. Jill, the point person, was totally knowledgeable and worked within my budget. Chad, the installer, came well prepared and was able to quickly and efficiently solve the many problems my project presented. I recommend them highly. Timely, efficient, courteous and completely professional; what more can you ask for?

I was fortunate enough to decide on calling Precision Garage Door as they were able to schedule a tech the same day. Cory called to introduce himself and assured me he was on his way. When he arrive he listened and understood the demise of my garage door opener. He reviewed the situation in detail with me and recommended a replacement unit as I expected. He scheduled a return visit to meet my schedule on the following Sunday morning.
Sunday morning I receive a text that he’s on his way and provides a 15 minute window of arrival. In two hours he had the old unit and track removed, new unit installed, and all adjustments made to my satisfaction. Precision is fortunate to have an employee such as Cory.
Very professional and a good communicator.
I hate spending money on things like garage door openers but the outstanding service provided by Cory made it almost painless.

Great service! Malek was prompt and resolved the issue on my garage opener. Made adjustments and everything works fine. Good job!

Called this company at the weekend and they said it would be $ 425 for a new garage door opener including labor. They said they would arrive between 6 and 8 pm on the Monday but called at 8.30pm and said they would arrive in 30 minutes but we told them it was too late and to come the next day.
The next day they called and said they had a scheduling problem and would come on Wednesday.
On Wednesday they arrived early so I was not home yet and told my wife that a new opener would cost over $ 800 and they said they could fix it for less.
The engineer took just over 5 minutes to repair the opener and said it would cost $ 325 which was $ 75 dollars more than the other companies had quoted. So the Enginneer must be really special if they make $ 33 a minute more than a brain surgeon.
I was very angry when I got home and felt that they had taken advantage of my wife and called the company to complain.
The manager Pat called the next day and defended his Engineer’s actions but apologised for my bad experience and offered me $ 50 off the bill still $ 25 dollars more than the other companies.
I obviously realized that he was part of the problem so would be wasting my time complaining further so just accepted his offer and put it down to just another scam artist company.
Of all the companies I called they all lie when you ask them for a price and change when they actually get to your home but precision doors was the worst especially as they took advantage of my wife in my absence.
If I could give minus stars I would.

Great service from Luis. Only problem I had was the communication from the office to the service. I requested a time change that was never documented. Other than that everything was solid.

Precision Garage Doors sent a tech to our home within 24 hours of our call. The technician was very knowledgeable and identified the problem right away. I would definitely use them again.

Called Precision Garage Door because my garage door stopped going up and down, instead it made a loud noise when I tried to open/​close it. The dispatcher scheduled a serviceman to come over that afternoon in a time slot that fit my schedule– he showed up within the 2-​hr window. He was friendly and knew what he was doing — identified the issue (broken part) which he had in his truck. He finished the repair in 60 minutes including greasing the door’s hinges and wheels. The pricing was quite fair — especially since the noise the opener was making made me think it was time to replace the whole decade old system, and it would be time to pay the piper, but he explained that the motor was actually in good shape and all that was needed was to replace the trolley and reset the limits on the system. I highly recommend.

My garage door opener was opening and closing on its own. I decided to replace it with a new, modern opener. I was impressed that they were able to make an appointment the next day. Cory was the technician they sent out to replace my opener. I got an opener with a battery backup.
I was impressed that Cory showed up on time, worked quickly and did a quality job. In fact my garage was cleaner then when he arrived, thanks Cory, you can stop by and clean my garage anytime!
I recommend Precision for any garage door or opener work you need. I kept their number and will use them when its time to replace my door.

Found we had a broken garage door on a Sunday around noon. Feared we could not get it repaired until a weekday. Needless to say we were wrong — we found Precision Garage Door, and they had someone here within a couple of hours, and shortly thereafter our garage door was working again. Great service. Calling Precision Door Service was best decision! After hearing wonderful accolades about Precision from their capable technicians to prompt service, I decided not to call the garage door company we have used over the past 20 years in San Francisco, Oakland and Piedmont and call Precision. One of their leading technicians, Cory, came out to evaluate our existing doors and spoke with us in detail about our options. Since our doors were original to our 1928 house, architecturally pleasing and a prominent feature of our house, we were elated Cory was able to develop a plan to «modernize» our beautiful doors. Upon completion, our doors are working perfectly with a new quiet motor, upgraded hardware and proper weather proofing.
We have had other companies inform us this type of retro fit wasn’t possible and new doors were are only option. Precision has highly skilled craftsman, not just technicians, working with their clients to ensure we are getting the best possible solution/​end product to meet our needs. Cory, Shawn and Tina were very professional, polite, courteous, and attentive to our family’s needs.
Precision is really as good as it gets!

As a result of reviews on Next Door, we had Precision Door Service come out to replace our broken garage door. Although we called 2 days before Christmas, they were responsive and quick with the repair, replacing the door on Christmas Eve. The techs, Corey and Shawn, did a great job and were professional, friendly, and efficient. We’re happy with the new door and the great customer service we received. Thank goodness my husband’s unfortunate attempt to repair the door himself had a positive ending due to Precision!

We had been having problems with garage sensors and the door closing.
I called Precision and spoke to Amanda and she was able to have someone come the next day.
The technician Paulino called 15 mins before the start of the 2 hour window (2−4pm) to let me know he was on his way and arrived promptly.
I explained what the problem was and he also explained several other areas that needed repair.
The immediate problems were taken care of in a timely, professional and expert manner.
I asked Paulino to explain exactly what he was doing and why additional repairs were needed and he did that all as requested.
He was in and out in 45 mins.
We no longer have a problem with the sensors and the door opens and closes smoothly and quietly.
I will use them again and also recommend them to friends.
I had a question about the billing and Mike was very knowledgeable and took the time to call me back and answer all the questions I had to my satisfaction.
Great job, very satisfied from start to finish.
It is also a real plus that they are diamond certified as well!

I just had Hector A at my house. He was prompt and called before arriving. Wish I could say the other company I had an appointment with today (Gentec, who just completely blew me off and then denied I had an appointment) had done so. Sure would like to have had those ceiling fans installed.
Anyway, back to someone who deserves some kudos. I thought my garage door opener was tweaked. After looking for about two seconds Hector said «you’re gonna hate me,» and wiped some cobwebs off the sensor lenses and then «voila,» the door worked fine! I then asked him if he could make the sensors more solidly mounted (the previous owners had just used wood screws and screwed them into drywall so they were flopping around loose). He did better than that — he hard-​mounted them both to the tracks. Better than new. Saved me money, talked me out of more expensive work, and fixed the real problem. All for WELL under $ 100.
Needless to say, I recommend them.

The estimate I was given on the phone and the estimate given by the technician once he arrived at my home was dramatically different, increasing the price almost two-​fold! The repair was for a broken garage door spring which is very common and not a complicated repair. They wanted close to $ 500. for this repair! I declined their service and still had to pay for the $ 49.95 service call to add insult to injury! The next day I was able to find several other garage door repair companies at half the cost.
