Looking for the perfect entertainment for your party? Erika offers caricature sessions for children, adults (and even pets!, for that special birthday, wedding, company celebration, red carpet event, holiday get-​together or any occasion!).

Or, maybe you are looking for that custom painted gift of your loved one, family portrait or animal? Erika can work directly from photographs or live and have the painting shipped to your door.

Erika has worked professionally as a sketch artist in the film industry, entertainment, and guest services. As art teacher and naturalist, she has worked with children of all ages, as well as animals. She has a special interest working with dogs.

Over the last decade, she has worked as a sketch artist at Disneyland Parks and Resorts, red carpet events, private parties, birthdays, Beverly Hills Women’s Club, Kaiser Permanente, National Geographic, Alcon and NBA benefits.

History

Established in 2003.

Erika began painting watercolor portraits and caricatures. She adapted to using watercolors at Disneyland, and fell in love with the medium. She is currently a dog trainer in San Francisco, and established paint​mefor​mattb​.com to commission portraits to raise funds for her dear friend Matt, battling with a rare form of cancer.

Business Owner

Erika Chan received her BFA in Illustration and Entertainment Art from Cal State Fullerton, following the foundational teachings of the old masters and the gesture of traditional animation. Inspired by animals, fiction and my childhood, it is reflected in my paintings, creature designs, tattoo flash, sculpting, and special effects makeup. She has worked in many industries, from film, music video sets, education and youth/​nature conservation non-​profit organizations.

Erika currently works in the canine training and off-​leash dog walking industry in San Francisco with A Girl and Your Dog. Animals and education have always been her passion. Her works has been displayed at the Irvine Fine Arts Center, NBA Player Sean Livingston’s Get-​a-​Cue benefits, along side Michael Goddard’s works in Monrovia and featuring in her own Red Carpet group exhibition, Dreams and Nightmares in Beverly Hills.
