Description

Specialties

We create unique, handmade chocolates at our Production Kitchen in the Dogpatch district of San Francisco. Our signature chocolate is a Bittersweet Chocolate Tile topped with Grey Sea Salt containing unique and interesting ingredients ranging from a Burnt Caramel Toffee to Aztec Chile. We also have a line of Sea Salt Caramels, seasonal chocolates, and Chocolate Bars!

All of our chocolates and confections are crafted in a small production kitchen connected to our humble shop, and everything from cold-brewing coffee for our Espresso Toffee to hand-stretching our Peanut Brittle is done in-house.

Our mission is to stay on the savory side of sweet. We hope you enjoy them. They’re the perfect indulgence!

History

Established in 2003.

Poco Dolce has been creating chocolates on the «savory side of sweet» for over 10 years, and our Dogpatch production shop has been open since 2011.

Meet the Business Owner

Kathy W.

Business Owner

Poco Dolce was started by Kathy Wiley as a small baking company specializing in Italian cookies and pastries following careers in both food and tech. After experimenting with dark chocolate, and having a predilection for more savory foods, she tried sprinkling some Grey Sea Salt meant for a batch of cookies on some dark chocolate. Poco Dolce line of TIles was born. Still crafted by hand, Tile by Tile, as they were in 2003, Poco Dolce’s mission of creating unique flavors using high-quality, all-natural, GMO-Free ingredients when possible still holds true.
