Meet the Business Owner

Amy W.

Business Owner

In 2001 Amy became a certified Yoga instructor through Cloud Nine Yoga School in LA. Her focus was in Restorative Yoga, working with individuals with motion restriction, injury and pain. She continued to teach Yoga through 2005, working with Chiropractors teaching Chair Yoga for motion restricted individuals and injured individuals who needed to regain strength and mobility.

Amy’s passion for corrective exercise and anatomy led her to try Pilates, and she immediately saw the value of the work and underwent a 450 HR training through The PhysicalMind Institute.

In 2005 Amy began working for Fuerza Pilates and the next year purchased Fuerza Pilates San Diego, which she is still involved with. Fuerza Pilates opened two more locations in Northern CA shortly thereafter, and Amy relocated to San Francisco. Since living in San Francisco and being exposed to many Tech types with «computer posture» Amy saw a real need to reach out to these individuals.
