It goes without saying: we love photography! Come in for ready-​made frames, custom framing, matting, and more. We do picture framing right, and we can help you with all of your modular picture framing needs.

We also have a unique In-​Home framing service, ‘House Call’.

How House Call Works:

1. We bring over 200 frame and matting samples to your home. We ask a few questions about your budget, your tastes, and the room, while studying adjacencies of art to furniture, sunlight exposure, and surrounding color themes.

2. Your FREE design session lasts about an hour, and together we choose the ideal frames, or perfectly sized mirror, based on a simple and fun design process. You determine your budget.

3. Our House Call designer oversees the fabrication, quality, and craftsmanship of your tailor made frames, and coordinates delivery and installation. Turnaround times are about 2 weeks. Delivery & installation start at $ 99.

Established in 2005.

Started in 2005, we are dedicated to our customers. Our frames are handcrafted in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our mats are produced and cut in the U.S.A. Our images are either provided by our local photographers, or printed by Pictopia, an Emeryville-​based lab that provides the highest quality photographic services to professional and amateur photographers.

You are the most important person in our stores.

You’re the reason we’re here. You’re the purpose for our work, not an interruption of it. We’ll collaborate with you, listen to your ideas, and share our own. We want you to leave happy.

Our prices are much less than most «custom» frame shops.

Ssshhhh, don’t tell them, but we use the exact same materials, however we decided to pre-​build the frames and pre-​cut the mats. That saves us time and labor, and saves you money (and if you need a custom size frame, we’ll build it for you in about 14 days).
