We booked Lisa for our engagement and wedding photos and it was the best decision we made. She has a sweet and easy going personality, which helped during all of the portraits. During the ceremony and reception, we didn’t notice her or her second photographer. When we saw all of our photos, we were so happy with how beautiful they turned out. They’re works of art. While Lisa didn’t shoot my wedding, I’m very familiar with her work and have helped her with many of her wedding projects. Lisa is the consummate professional. Wedding photography is HARD and very stressful and Lisa makes it look easy. If I had to recommend a wedding photographer to someone it would be Lisa, no hesitation.

Photography was the most important aspect of our wedding. But my parents didn’t share that sentiment and we were left to our own devices in securing a really great photographer. Lisa’s photographs are beautiful and stunning. But when I received her rate sheet I thought that we didn’t have a chance of working with her.
I asked her anyways if she could accomodate our budget since our wedding took place in the off-​seaon (January). Lisa put together a wonderful package for us. She was completely professional and a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. AND we are absolutely in love with our pictures. They are beautiful and we’ll treasure them for a lifetime.

We just got the proofs and wow they look amazing!!! We are so lucky to have Lisa photograph our wedding… the proof album is truly fabulous and we can’t thank her enough. =) Every shot was gorgeous and I can’t wait to show it to my friends and family. =) And I love the look and feel of the proof cover! It look so classy and of the highest quality, and these are just the proofs! =) We’ll have a lot of trouble choosing our favorites for the album… they are all so beautiful!

Our wedding was perfect for many reasons. One of them was Lisa Lefkowitz. From the minute I saw her portfolio and other publications, I was taken aback by the quality of her shots and her ability to capture just the right oments. Then Nick and I met Lisa and we looked no further for a photographer. Her calm and soothing demeanor,
professionalism, and all around niceness were exactly what we were looking for. I knew she would ease my nerves on our big day. She was great at listening to our needs and keeping us on schedule. She even went above and beyond and scouted out a shooting location for us when we were not able to find one ourselves. On the big day, we completely trusted her and she did not let us down. Shot after shot she captured the entire feeling of the wedding, from the cake details to my grandmother’s smile, and we hardly even knew she was there.
She has such a keen eye and knew exactly which portraits would look best given the lighting and location. We told Lisa we wanted more candids than portraits and that’s exactly what we got. There are so many great photos to choose from and it was so nice to see candids of all our friends and family. I also love that she works with all film, not digital. Her photographs are so amazing that they our wedding was featured in the Winter 2006 issue of Martha Stewart Weddings magazine!

Lisa is such a sweet person and a fantastic photographer. She was quick to respond to my request for an appointment with her and flexible on meeting times. We met in her cute little studio in Laurel Heights. I really liked her photojouranlistic style and contacted her after seeing her work in the latest Martha Stewart Weddings and Modern Bride magazines. She shoots completely in 35 mm and develops her film in a dark room — old school! She works with a book binder who creates the most beautiful silk bound albums with your name and date imprinted in foil on the cover and spine. Her packages start at $ 6K, so if you want to splurge in that area of your wedding, Lisa is worth talking to.
