Paul L. Reller M.S. L. Ac, is a Licensed California Acupuncturist, or TCM physician, utilizing Acupuncture as well as Herbal/​Nutrient medicine, and soft tissue physiotherapies, called Tui Na and myofascial release.

Paul has over ten years of practice, focusing on a wide range of health issues, but predominantly treating workplace, sports, and traumatic injury. Repetitive and postural stress syndromes are ideally treated with the comprehensive package of care offered, including ergonomic retraining, and attention to all health problems that perpetuate chronic pain.

History

Established in 1999.

I decided to attend a medical college specializing in TCM while recovering from a serious workplace injury, involving cervical herniated disks and a prognosis of permanent disability with severe neuropathy. My recovery exceeded all expectations, and I am grateful to the physicians practicing Complementary Medicine that provided me with such excellent care, and motivated me to develop the best possible protocol to help others in situations like my own. My scientific background as well as my interest in Daoism has given me the opportunity to create an evidence-​based medical practice rooted in ancient Chinese philosophy.

Business Owner

Paul Reller is a graduate of San Francisco’s American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a nationally certified graduate school of medical science, where he has also taught. He has also apprenticed with the renowned California herbalist Christopher Hobbs, and studied acupuncture orthopedics with Fred Lerner. As a Licensed California Acupuncturist, he is considered a primary care physician qualified to diagnose and treat any injury or illness utilizing a wide variety of treatment techniques. The California Scope of Practice in acupuncture includes needle stimulation, electroacupuncture, diathermic heat, manual physiotherapies, herbal prescription, nutrient medicine, dietary counsel, myofascial release, trigger point needling, instruction in therapeutic activities, and correction of postural mechanics. By combining these treatment techniques and protocols I insure greater success for more complex problems.
