She holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from ACTCM in San Francisco, a BA in Psychology from NYU, and Advanced Massage Certification in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal/​Postnatal, Shiatsu, Acupressure, and TuiNa Massage. Megan is a phenomenal acupunturist AND masseuse. Initially I saw Megan for massage –after each one I felt wonderful but typically didn’t go in with any specific ailments, nevertheless I felt a boost that lasted for days afterwards. Later I started seeing her for acupuncture before my first pregnancy and after during post partum recovery. She helped me in both situations tremendously, even prescribing herbs that helped with my temporary hair loss due to hormonal changes (they worked!). Megan has a serene and calm demeanor yet she is super smart, a great listener, and an almost eerily accurate diagnostician — after taking my pulse, I’m impressed by how she always identifies what is going on (sleep issues, digestion, et, al). I can’t recommend Megan enough — go see her and you’ll never look back!

Megan has been fixing what ails me for years. Mostly, I love massage… but Megan has also given me acupuncture for some numbness in my legs and her treatment really got the circulation going again. She is kind and funny but don’t let that fool you — look out muscles, here she comes! If you are reading this review that means you are looking for massage or acupuncture, and if you are looking for massage or acupuncture, then you can stop looking because this woman is AMAZING.

Ok you guys can keep a secret, can’t you? I recently moved to SoCal from San Francisco and the person I miss the most is Megan. That’s right best friends, family and clients… I miss my masseuse more than all y’all. I had been going to Megan for more than 5 years, starting from when I pinched nerves in my lower back. I had tried everything-​salts, stretching, everything. Finally I walked passed the place where Megan used to work, called and made an appointment, feeling as it was my last resort. Well, 5 years should tell you something. Not only did I feel so much better but Megan made me so comfortable. She is beyond sweet, extremely professional and patient and really knows what she’s doing. I am an athlete and have been getting massages-​albeit reluctantly– forever and I’ve never had a more satisfying and truly relaxing experience than with Megan. She is also very intuitive which helped me because, although I’m a know-​it-​all, when it comes to my own muscles, I have no idea what I’m talking about. I adore her space; the room is very inviting and cozy which makes the overall experience that much better. I’ve recommended Megan to my friends, clients, strangers, random people on muni… just about everyone. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. And if I could beam her down to SoCal once a month, trust me I would… actually I’m working on it.

The best masseuse I’ve had. Great chill environment that’s easy to get to by car/​BART/​Muni, and reasonable rates.
For all you bros out there, I’m the other end of the spectrum from the hippie-​dippy «your chakra and your Qi channels are blah blah blah», but Megan makes everything all better, so I just keep going. I feel better for weeks after an appointment.
I would recommend Megan to anyone who wants to try massage for the first time, and insist on it for those who aren’t getting what they want from their current massage/​acupuncture.
