Great space with elevators and a staircase for easy access to the upstairs and a catering kitchen upstairs as well which makes everything easier and flow better.

came here for their new year’s eve party. nice cozy venue. not enough restrooms. crowd was a bit on the rough side.

Was here at this venue on NYE. What was nice was that it’s not super duper large, so it couldn’t accommodate a crap-​ton of people. There was plenty of space to hang out, or to dance. What there wasn’t plenty of space of, was the restrooms. I never even went into the Ladies’ restroom because the sole instance when I did go, the line was so long, I went into the Guys’ bathroom.
What was a winner was that the air-​conditioning was great. You know how you go to a club or any space where there’s a ton a dancing and lots of bodies and you wonder if they turned off the A/​C? It was nicely pumping the whole night.
Overall, it’s just a really big room. Really tall ceilings. I could see it being used for a bunch of different types of functions and it could be perfect. There’s even a balcony area, though I didn’t get to head up there because that’s where all the VIP ticket peeps were… and, may I add, that was the saddest-​looking VIP area from the floor? No hoopla, people didn’t look excited.

Such a pretty venue. I was here with a group of friends for their NYE — Casino Royale bash. I def liked the crowd. It was mostly grown responsible adults looking for a good time.
The pictures on the website made the place appear larger than it really is. The place is actually quite small but I like it. Quite cozy.
I’m thinking about considering this place as a wedding venue.

It’s a lovely spot for a special event. First, it’s accessible as hell. The Montgomery BART stop is just 2 short blocks away; there’s also a parking garage a half block down. Easy to find as well.
The site’s official photos make the space appear larger than it really is, so don’t book blindly without checking it out in person beforehand.
There’s a really cool staircase leading up to the second level — perfect for a small bar/​cocktail area (and who doesn’t like peering down at people on the floor below?) An elevator is available for people who can’t use the stairs, but be wary of that thing. I saw it try to eat my BFF’s stepson.
A large room is available on the second level as well for changing or whatever (perfect as a bridal prep suite).
Only one bathroom upstairs, and it’s a one-​seater so beware of this if you’ve got a large group on hand. There were rumors of another shitter in the basement but we were unsuccessful in locating it.
The main level has gorgeous high ceilings, beautiful chandlers, and a lovely wood-​paneled bar set up on the right-​hand side of the room. A dance floor in the middle of the room is large and easily set up as an aisle for nuptials (and just as easily cleared for a reception).
Check it out if you’re planning a party!

This venue just opened and I was one of the first who got to check it out at this month’s ISES Northern California Chapter meeting. When you get a bunch of event planners and professionals within the event planning industry together you definitely want to impress, and I think they did a great job. We had a cocktail/​networking reception in the upstairs area, and our seated lunch was served downstairs while a speaker did a presentation. The venue has a lot of light, a few chandeliers, and is very open with really tall ceilings which has an elegant feeling to it. I’m sure there are a number of ways to decorate and change the feel of the space, too.
It’s operated by the same group that does the Julia Morgan Ballroom at the Merchant’s Exchange which is a venue I love and adore. Since they do most of their catering through Credo (which is next door), I’m assuming its the same for this venue.
Plus One Leidsdorff is right across the street from my gym, Equinox, so next time maybe I can get a workout in before or after an event!
