Nathan and his crew were excellent to work with. He completed the work under a very tight schedule on time and at a reasonable price. Everything came out great and I would recommend working with him to my friends.

I own a rental property in Sausalito, CA, but I live in Denver, CO. In late June, 2014, one of the bathrooms in my rental property gave out. I flew out to inspect it and it was very clear that the only option was to replace the bathroom.
I interviewed three contractors for the job, including Nathan Cole, and since I got the best vibe from Nathan, I hired him.
It was the best decision I’ve made this year. I was not optimistic; it’s tough enough to work with most contractors when you’re local, but from 1,500 miles away things become more difficult. I wasn’t expecting things to go smoothly, but Nathan proved me wrong. He exceeded my expectations in every way.
Nathan is not only a craftsman and a very capable contractor, but he excels at communication. This is where most contractors fall short. I can’t think of a single time that I called or texted him from Denver when he didn’t respond immediately. He was very sympathetic to my plight as a long-​distance landlord and really went the extra mile to keep me informed.
And the work that he and his team did was A++. They completely ripped out a very dated and crummy master bathroom and replaced it with a gorgeous spa bathroom that Auberge du Soleil in Napa would be proud of. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail were exceptional.
And Nathan didn’t bust the budget. He held to his estimates and there were no change orders that weren’t caused by me.
My old house in Sausalito will require more work in the years to come, and Nathan will be the first person I’ll call. I recommend Nathan Cole Construction without reservation.

I would recommend Nathan to anyone! It was the first time dealing with a remodel with a tight deadline but Nathan made everything easy for us. He was on-​time and on-​budget, adding a few extra shelves in closets, window dressings, bathroom fixtures, without charging us for the additional labor. Nathan was always available and provided quick response when we needed him. He and his crew were prompt and respectful, always keeping their promise, cleaned up after themselves everyday. The work was excellent and thoughtful. We really feel like Nathan is someone we can always trust. We loved all of his suggestions to make things more complete and better for us. We would call him again for any future work.

Nathan is a life-​saver. He saved me from the pain and anguish of getting a contractor to call me back, give me a bid, and do the work I needed done in my new apartment.
He’s done a lot of work already, most notably installed a granite countertop. He chose the stone (I trusted him to choose this on his own, I never even saw a sample) and brought in two additional men to put it in. It is perfect, and their attention to detail is stunning. They left without a trace, and can’t wait to have them back to work on other projects.
I will be recommending him to all of my friends and people in my building AFTER we’re done with the rest of the project.

We found Nathan on Craigslist and thought we would give him a try. We didn’t have high expectations because we didn’t know a lot about him.
The first big projects was in 2012, which included gutting the place and install a hardwood floor, build a wall, paint, wood trim, installing a enormous chandelier and some electronic work.
His work exceeded our expectations and pricing is very reasonable.
He is a good listener and responded to all our requests with a cool attitude.
I would recommend him to anyone.

ok… so I saw this guy on Craigs… didn’t find anything good about him, but nothing bad, either. I felt a decent vibe and decide to risk calling him for some minor items. here are my comments
1) he answered the phone right away. A+ for that.
2) he politely told me he was on a job and needed to focus on that for the day, but to please email, and he would contact me that evening… I emailed and he followed through.
3) I needed someone quick, and he was available. On a Saturday, no less.
4) he showed up on time.
5) I had a difficult wardrobe installation… the guy actually dropped pieces of the closet on his nose (bruising it considerably)…Didn’t complain a bit. Got it all together, fixed my personal goofs from when I deconstructed it at my last apartment… and it looks great. Also installed some shelving. Stayed late to help me even though he had plans for the evening. working later than he expected.
6) cleaned up after himself
7) not one minute of «goof off» time. Solid worker.
8) charged me exactly what he quoted. An honest guy. And a nice guy, to boot.
